I like the casual atmosphere and buti support local business but the food and service is hit or miss here. When it is on point it is really good, but the other times? Not as much. I took a friend here for her birthday today. The server was curt and rushed, we couldn't get our water refilled the whole time. Some tables got bread, not us. My friend's salad had animal (cat/dog?) hair in it. The scallops were nicely cooked and the Thai curry coconut sauce was tasty but the rice was cold, not very plentiful, and had a lot of big salt flakes on it that didn't work with the flavors. The salt detracts from the natural sweetness of the scallops. The veggie "side" was two small pieces of broccoli. In the whole time we were there no one ever checked on us and it took twice as long to get our check as to eat our meal. It was a little busy but nothing crazy. I wish I could count on them to be more reliable!
Great food and service! rare tastes and high class. Happy again! Thank you
The food was fantastic! Look forward to going again. They could use a few more IPAs though
Bona Sera always makes for a nice night out. Their staff is freindly and welcomes us into their restaurant. I really enjoy the blue cheese dressing on the salad. The house dressing is good as well. For dinner i had the scallops on rice. Excellent sauce ratio. Delicious dish. The meatball dish was good also. Highly recommend a night out at Bona Sera
This is a lovely restaurant with a waitstaff that were friendly and right on top of things. I went in a big group that took up four tables and they did very well with getting everyone's food out at about the same time. I had the Strawberry Fields salad and it was very tasty, although it was drenched in the lemon vinaigrette, which some people prefer but I prefer a lighter hand when it comes to dressing.
The staff was so patient with my family especially my dad who is handicapped the food was great too!!! Nice place to visit. The mac and cheese was delish.
Nice ambience. Responsive waitstaff and good food. Seemed a bit on the pricey side by Ypsi standards.
Delicious (and nutritious) dishes, gorgeous plating and refreshingly unique/ arty ambience. Hat trick. Came for lunch on a rainy day: (1) had the best cucumber soup since my mother in law died (and hers was to "die " for--she will not haunt me for this pun--she loved good soup and good food and a good pun-and her Arkansas cooking was fresh and inspired from the Depression Era on...she could tease incredible flavors from humble food with great technique); (2) had the farmer's market tartine that was so beautiful with such an amazing giardiniera relish, it was hard to bite into to upset the visual of the springy mix of vegetables and favors--light and perfect; and (3) (caveat: my husband and I have been married 46 years and have had desserts infrequently in our married lives as we prefer fresh fruit to sugared sweets) but--after two slam dunk courses--we could not resist ordering the limoncello infused strawberry shortcake.--besides--it is June and raining. Bliss. Life is good.
Usually come here for brunch. Had no idea there was a downstairs area for dancing and such. It was really nice! It'll be a good idea for it to be open sometime, maybe a few times a month! From my understanding, Ypsi doesn't have anything like that!
Ypsi Pride brought us downtown on Friday. We had drinks, appetizers and dinner right at the bar and everything was superb inc and just as important, very good service!

Friendly service. Excellent food. Great ambiance. Very creative with their vegetarian dishes.
Super friendly and accommodating staff added to my experience. The brunch offerings were amazing, and I was so happy to see gluten free and dairy free options on the menu! The Bloody Mary bar was
A wonderful addition to the normally lackluster chain restaurants in the area. It is inventive, respecting locally available products and a step up for the community. I took my daughter there for a long overdue, "grown up" night out. It was my second visit, and I'll be back😋
Funky atmosphere, great food, sat for awhile before being greeted, I was about to start feeling a certain way....that inattentiveness cost them a star this time....I will definitely be back. The Monte Cristo was perfect.
Loved the goat cheese and grape flat bread and the large is HUGE! Great vegetarian choices and good cocktails
