I like the casual atmosphere and buti support local business but the food and service is hit or miss here. When it is on point it is really good, but the other times? Not as much. I took a friend here for her birthday today. The server was curt and rushed, we couldn't get our water refilled the whole time. Some tables got bread, not us. Bona Sera always makes for a nice night out. Their staff is freindly and welcomes us into their restaurant. I really enjoy the blue cheese dressing on the salad. The house dressing is good as well. For dinner i had the scallops on rice. Excellent sauce ratio. Delicious dish. The meatball dish was good also. Highly recommend a night out at Bona Sera
This is a lovely restaurant with a waitstaff that were friendly and right on top of things. I went in a big group that took up four tables and they did very well with getting everyone's food out at about the same time. I had the Strawberry Fields salad and it was very tasty, although it was drenched in the lemon vinaigrette, which some people prefer but I prefer a lighter hand when it comes to dressing.
