Jack takes good care of all of the customers. You can count on his food and drink recommendations! Although all the food here is great. We had a huge piece of salmon with blue cheese sauce and mushroom crostini (as an appetizer ). Both were awesome and went well with the rosemary gimlets Jack whipped up for us. If you have special requests ( like decaf on the Baked Alaska) they will make every effort to accommodate you.

From the moment I stepped into C. King & Co Cafe, I knew I was in for a great experience. The ambiance is nothing short of immaculate—warm, inviting, and buzzing with a vibrant yet relaxed energy. I was promptly greeted by Jack, who set the tone for an exceptional evening with his friendly and professional demeanor.
Opting to sit at the bar, I was impressed by Jack’s deep knowledge of the menu. Without hesitation, he walked me through each offering with the expertise of a true connoisseur, making thoughtful recommendations and ensuring I had all the information I needed to make the perfect choice.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the pizza—expertly crafted by Erica, who was working her magic in the kitchen that night. Every bite was a perfect balance of crispness and flavor, showcasing the care and skill that goes into their food.

C. king & Co. is fantastic! I stumbled upon it, and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The bartender served THE BEST French 75 I’ve had in all of Ann Arbor. The food was outstanding. I don’t normally review—but this place deserves the time it takes to post an online rave. Five stars.

I have nothing but great things to say about C.King & Co. Cafe. My wife and I held our wedding reception in the 2nd floor event space and it was perfect. Rich and his staff were so accommodating and it was a pleasure having them host. The food was delicious and the drinks were made very well (thanks Jack!).
