You don't find old school places like this much anymore!Food was inexpensive, greasy, very processed but freshly prepared and fried to order.Chicken was different, sort of a flat pounded tender that was almost tough, like it was cooked twice. Milkshake tasted like it was from a mix. Reminds you of the stuff you used to get growing up. Fries and onion rings were hot and super greasy. Pretty sure our ketchup packets were expired but we brought our own.Everything was hot, order was correct and the food was exactly what we were expecting from this sort of place. You will have better food elsewhere but why would you want to go there? This is the original Chick Inn! Please eat here and keep them around.

Looking for your typical diner food then you’ve come to the right place.I love the drive inn style with the service and food being fast and hot.I ordered their smash burger special and a kids chicken nugget meal, the smash burgers were more like mini sliders and the nuggets were pretty delicious. You won’t be disappointed with the fresh meat and fast service here.

Ordered chili cheese fries and the chili is straight out of the can. Made the fries super soggy and left juices all at the bottom of the container. Also Vanilla milkshake was horrible. Most definitely will not be back.

The place could use some updates but the food is solid, reasonable prices and we always have great service. We love the Paul Bunyan burger!Kid-friendliness: Great menu for kids and a unique experience for them.

This is an old faithful greasy spoon that always satisfies. Not a health food restaurant.Since 1953.Just good old on the grill in the grease food. With an old school car hop feel. The signs and parking area could use some work, and the area seems a little sketch, but I always see old people walking their tiny dogs in the area, and the food has always been good.Get the Paul Bunyan burger!

Great milkshakes! Try the peanut butter one.

Best milkshakes in the Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti area! The dill in the chicken strips is amazing, and the onion rings are to die for!Fun, 50s retro drive-in vibe.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Very casual relaxed place to find a quick bite to eat. Something for everyone. The kids like the chicken.Parking: Easy to find location with plenty of parking. Wheelchair-accessible parking is available.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited amount of wheelchair parking is available just like most places I visit.

A drive up restaurant , what could be cooler. The outside may look a little worn. But it has great food and great service.

I am from Missouri and I've never heard of a fried Philly cheesestake. It was delicious. Went last night, didn't know they closed early. They wouldn't cut anymore peppers for the Philly so I decided to go with the shrimp dinner. And OMG DISGUSTING. The fries were stale, old, and hard. After eating only three shrimp my stomach started turning. Old tasting food. If I do come back it will be when the sun is high and I only trust the Philly cheesestake. People from Ypsilanti have warned me not to eat there. I was so confused, until last night. Garbage. Hoagie was full of onions and garbage as well

Wow. This place has changed. Burger - 3/5 overall. Good but nothing special Fish Dinner - super greasy 3/5 Onion Rings - nice batter but super thick with grease. 3/5 Fries - not super hot, plain no seasoning nothing. 1/5 Oreo shake - not Ice cream whatsoever. Was skim milk mixed with a ton of ice and some crushed Oreos. Really really bad. Sad, used to love this place.
