I come here fairly often - mostly for lasagna or salad for myself but also pizza for work events. I've always had good service and food. Keep up the great work!

Staff is rude and unforgiving.
I made a simple mistake of ordering to the wrong location due to the website changing it after telling me to login at checkout, and they did not even try to be understanding. I was never able to travel to where it was, and it was over $20. So now, not only do they get to go home with my food for free, I still had to pay for it.
So I ended up paying twice since I had to reorder, and even the employee at the initial location I meant to go to said it wasn't right of them to dismiss me that way. I admit I should have looked closer after logging in, but people make mistakes and others should be understanding of that.
UPDATE: I decided to waste gas and pick the food up because if I had to pay $40 for pizza, I'm getting it.
Turns out they already ate my order of cinnamon sticks, so I had to wait for more of those. It was not even an hour after I ordered when I got there.
I finally get back home, and I realized I made the mistake of not checking the pizza box too, because it turns out they had started eating that as well.
Horrible, pitiful service.

Pizza was great! Went to grab dinner for my family and we all enjoyed the food thoroughly. One of the employees, Kellin was very nice and recommended we try the apple pie pizza which we loved! Definitely will be coming back.

Horrible place. Pizza is nasty. The main person there everyday, the supervisor Vip, wears gloves while making pizza, will go handle cash at the register with the same gloves, and go right back to making pizza…still wearing those same gloves. Disgusting. Yes, I’ve seen this happen with my own eyes. And yes I brought it to the supervisor VIPs attention.

The pizza was not baked long enough. The dough was still doughy and needed a few more mins in the oven for both pizzas I ordered.

I lived in several different states over the past 20 years and never found pizza as good as Cottage Inn. I'm happy to be back and to say Cottage Inn pizza is still the best there is!!

I ordered a pizza with a plain crust for “pickup”.I took it home and was surprised when I bit into a slice to find the crust tasted like cinnamon and sugar. The cinnamon and sugar flavor was impossible to ignore because it was so strong.Either the kitchen staff made my pepperoni and mushroom pizza with some of the base of their cinnamon sticks or they placed the crust on some surface that had cinnamon and sugar.I will think twice before ordering from Cottage Inn again. It was an expensive pizza that I cannot enjoy.

Never under any circumstance will I ever walk into this place again. At long last I understand now why there are always very few if any cars in their parking lot. I moved here three weeks ago. I wanted to check it out. I have not had a chance until today. I did not arrive until 8:45 and I knew they had a buffet and I kind of assumed it would be over with by 2:00 like most places. They had very little left and I understood that I had no problem with that. What I had a problem with was how damn rude they were to my face. Some man came up to me and he was unbelievably frustrated the fact that he saw he had another customer and I simply said are you done with the buffet and he said I may be putting out some more and I said what kind because what was on the buffet presently had onions and I cannot eat onions. He just turned and walked away shaking his head because he had to walk to the oven to see what it was he was going to put out . He screamed from the oven in the kitchen while the ingredients were.He came back to the counter and asked if I wanted it and I said I can't eat onions maybe I'll come some other time or by chance are you still putting out other pizzas. At this point another employee walked by and the man who was already frustrated said he might but then the other employee made some kind of gesture and then the man just shook his head and said well I guess not he's in charge. The animosity in this place was served more than any damn pizza. I am so angry. Not for me but for this entire community. I have loved living here so far there are charming beautiful people and the citizens here deserve better. I hope the parking lot remains empty and that people go further down the road to hospitalities where you will feel welcome.

DISAPPOINTMENT ! Since when has Cottage Inn started putting cheap ingredients in their pizza crust gaslighting consumers into believing they are eating gourmet pizza? Someone please tell me because that is exactly what has happened. I have been traveling around MI and have just returned so I decided to buy lunch at my local store on Washtenaw Ave. I have ordered from this store numerous times so I believed that it would be a win. I ordered two pizzas and a 2 liter @ almost 39.00 that was a stretch but everyone knows that Cottage Inn is one of the most expensive pizza shops around, but I knew that going in and I wanted great pizza today a special lunch for my family. Let me tell you when I picked up my first slice and the cheese didn’t stretch all over with its ooey gooey deliciousness I knew there was a problem. When I took the first bite , the crust was worse than cardboard pizza in the frozen section at Kroger or Walmart. Not only was the cheese and sauce non existent the crust was so bad, it was thin and it tore and you had to shear.and pull at it with your teeth as if it was stale 2 day old pizza left out on the table by a college kid or a bachelor that doesn’t give a damn. Why has the pizza quality decreased and the price has not gone down to reflect the poor quality? I would have called the store to complain but the guy behind the counter , it’s not his fault and he was nice. and I gave one star to him . The other star I gave because the pop was cold. I will NOT order from Cottage Inn again it is too expensive and the quality is sub par. It is hard enough in this economy these days. Go to Little Cesars or Pizza Hut . The Quality is better and the price is reasonable. I was there on 4/9/24 @ 230 pm ish.
I highly recommend Cottage Inn Pizza for their fantastic food and top-notch service. The pizzas and wings are an absolute hit with the Eastern Michigan Men's Basketball team. The staff always goes above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
