The owner Mitchell was amazing! I was up here for work and I missed Nawlins' food and was excited to stop and try it... and oh my gravy! Mitchell fired up a frien shrimp po' boy for me and the homemade remullade was amazing, the shrimp was perfect and the whole meal was just perfect! Then he made me up 6 fresh beingets and his 2 fav sauces... both of which tasted homemade oh my.... Mitchell did NOT disappoint at ALL! I will absolutely be coming back soon thank you!!!

My sister-in-law went in to get a po boy and she also got beignet. I must say they were amazing. We tried the chocolate sauce and the Raspberry and both were delicious. I would go get beignet's everyday if I lived closer.

I wanna start off this review highly commending the owner, and recognizing that he wears all hats in his restaurant. He is the cashier, waiter and the cook.

However with that being said the food me and my family had was subpar.

I ordered the chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya. The rice was mushy chicken was rubbery, and the sausage was greasy and flavorless. I also ordered the greens as a side the greens taste like they were frozen. The fried okra was very good. My husband ordered the hush puppies, those were good. He also ordered the catfish Poboy, which was also very good. The macaroni and cheese had no flavor and was watery. My son had grilled cheese and french fries, which is difficult for just about anyone to mess up.

All that being said I think that the owner should condense the menu and focus on food items that he is proficient in and that work for his style of restaurant. I think he should keep it basic with just the boils and Poboys and take off the foods that require more time preparation, and focus like the jambalaya. Mac mac & cheese Alfredo’s greens.

Everything we had was great! It was one guy running the whole place. You ordered using a QR code at your table.

The food was very good, well cooked and seasoned.

We had the lobster and crab ravioli, the andouille and shrimp jambalaya, and the beignets. The ravioli and cream sauce were really tasty but the portion was quite small, 5 ravioli for ~$20. The shrimp and sausage were good but the rice in the jambalaya was more spicy than flavorful, very tomatoey, and tasted a bit like a mix. The beignet recipe also could have used something, maybe more salt in the dough. The interior is very cozy and the staff were friendly. I would come back but I'll probably try some different dishes next time.

I tried this restaurant this past weekend. We were the only people dinning in (two people came in for carry out) and I was shocked! Their food was amazing! With the restaurant’s name I was hoping for some étouffée or gumbo, which they don’t offer, but the shrimp Alfredo was absolutely perfect! I’ll definitely be back to try the jambalaya.

I have been craving some good jambalaya and they did not disappoint.

We we entered the owner/chief told us he was just making the jambalaya and it would be a 30 minute wait. So we went to Birddog Baking and The Rocket to burn up some time.

I had it with sausage and chicken, my wife had the chicken.

Man was it ever great.

Can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu!

Got a “boil” with snow crab, mussels, and crawfish. There was no sauce. At most half a cup of melted butter in the bottom of a bag. Over half my mussels didn’t have any meat in them. Crab was cooked good, not over done. Crawfish were tiny and some of them were turning green so I didn’t even eat them. (Ate crawfish multiple times so I know it wasn’t just the guts) 1/4 a corn. Half a sausage. Sausage was delicious. Sadly that was the best part of the meal. It came in one of those nets so I would think it was just frozen bs they just threw in a pot. Got medium garlic butter flavor, no garlic what so ever. No space at all. Won’t be coming back. The guy who took my order was awesome and very nice. Answered many of my questions, suggested the sauce and spice level. Don’t remember his name.

The Crawdaddy feast was excellent and more than enough for two people. We got Cajun butter with medium heat and felt it was perfect. Also, the beignets were delicious. We got Nutella and raspberry side sauces and would put a little of each which was a great flavor combo.
