So sad they closed. The food was delicious. They had great lunch deals too! Friendly staff. Haab's will be deeply missed.

This was the first real restaurant my parents took me too. I've gone several times throughout the years and its been a family favorite. The staff was always friendly and helpful. A number of years I would call in and get gifts certificates over the phone from California for my Dad. Sad to see them shutter.

Delicious Club sandwich, great service!! Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended to make reservations. Limited seating due to Covid but really worth the effort. Can't wait to come back!!

I should have asked more questions, thats on me, but the waitress was in hurry. My meal, Michigan Salad, with Chicken, walnuts, apples. Etc was nothing like expected (not similar too any Ive had before at other establishments). I forgot to say no blue cheese. The chicken was not grilled/seared,and was cold, and had the taste of the cheese on it. Green Apples vs my favorite Reds. And I expected Romaine, or Spring Mix...not Iceberg. I gave away my meal although not sure it will be eaten at all. I was offered to send it back, but felt the cheese issue was my mistake. Yet I should have because it was unedible for me.

I just opened a business around the corner and have stopped here for carry-out a few times. I always order sandwiches and they are delicious; I definitely recommend the California Club and the Turkey Reuben. Fries are still hot and delicious when I get back to my office. Good packaging and great customer service, even on the phone. I appreciate their COVID precautions as well!

I'm told this place has been unchanged since the 1940's, and nothing I saw would dispute that. It is an old time downtown eatery with a nice menu. Prime rib/Pork Chops/London Broil/Salmon/Rainbow Trout/Chicken Livers - they have most everything you would want to eat here. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old time steak house, and they have an excellent full bar available here. Its homey, comfortable and the prices are not bad. I think it goes on my repeat business list.

Excellent, friendly service, good food. Took my extended family there -ages 9 to 88 and all were happy with our meals and experience. Family owned and it shows- very personable and excellent hospitality. Love the location - pretty historic area of Ypsilanti.
