I place my order online. It was ready at the time indicated in the confirmation I received. The staff was friendly when I arrived. The restaurant was clean. The food was hot. It looked as delicious as it tasted. I will eat here again.

My family’s first time ordering here, and we loved the unpretentious straight forward delicious pizza! Plus, the other reviewers are right in saying that the folks behind the counter are kind and gracious. Absolutely hope this local family owner pizzeria can grow into a sit down place because they make everyone feel like their guest. You should go and tell someone you know to go too!

I hadn't been in in awhile so decided to give it a shot on an afternoon. I got a Gyro and a small "Detroit Style Deep Dish" pepperoni pizza. The Gyro seems to come from a Gyro kit. It was pretty good but nothing great. I'd say the same for the Pizza. It is not Detroit Style, it's just a deep dish pizza. It has a very doughy crust. They use a a very sweet sauce (which I don't care for but I won't fault them for that since it seems to be a thing). The cheese and pepperoni seemed good quality and overall it's a good pizza if you like lots of sweet sauce. In my experience, the staff is always nice and the place has always been clean. I defiantly recommend giving it a try.

Life is full of surprises and I love the pleasant ones. I am a transplant to the Midwest hailing from New England. I have made some wonderful friends and acquaintances in the Ypsilanti area recently. At the beginning of November I happened to be a guest in a downtown restaurant which has yet to figure out its identity in the hospitality arena. I wouldn't say it cost a fortune but it was definitely overpriced lacking food quality while the appetizing patrons screamed to be heard as the brick walls bounced sound decibels to the Ohio Buckeye state line. A few weeks later I found myself at Issa's courtesy of a friend's recommendation. At long last fabulous Pizza in the midwest with incredible hospitality where you enter as a stranger but leave as a friend. The cost was below an anticipated budget. A very small dine-in area yet pleasingly efficient allowing personal conversation. My friend Brady (not Tom but damn I wish) preferred double cheese and I'm glad he talked me into it. Where else can you treat yourself to a medium sized hand tossed Little Italian pie for $7.99? That's unheard of in this economic era. The manager and owner Omar is a spectacular smart businessman offering his guests standards stemmed in excellence only. He exudes warmth and charisma. His wife Latisse runs a pretty good kitchen providing care for the ingredients as she wholeheartedly demonstrates care for the customer. You will note they sincerely desire for you to kick back and have a good time (not the kind of kick handed to Ohio State today). The lady who took our order was Michaela. She is a total delight and I loved the banter that she and I found ourselves engaged in.The summation of the experience was one fifth the cost of the brick walls down the street yet 10 times multiplied in terms of quality.I was informed I'm not allowed a return in my future as effervescent McKayla told me I have a lifetime ban because I wore an Ohio State sweatshirt. So sue me for hanging with winners. Lol. They can kick me out of the Wolverine temporary victory delusions all they want but that food demands I come back. See you! And thank you!
