This Kroger used to be great. The new management ran off a lot of long-time employees (I see and talk to them at different food shopping locations, even other Krogers). Their service and friendliness went downhill. They can't keep anybody to the point that the deli and the fresh meat counter are closed almost every day. I now go out of my way to other stores unless I need 1 or 2 items. I refuse to give my money to this store.

Oh how I missed Kroger while I lived in Texas. I love the deals that Kroger has. This one is located quite close to the area that I am staying. I like the option of shopping inside online or even having it delivered to my house. Definitely one of my favorite stores.

This Kroger has completely gone down hill. It is bad... I dunno what happened to the place. They really need a security guard now for groceries... this was needed. That's really sad.

I go here often as it is close to me. I do usually find most items but there is a lot I do not find here. Some things are either out or not stocked. I asked a worker at Kroger about items and it is due to a lack of workers. Also some workers seem either overworked or lethargic about their jobs. An example was the seafood section. The worker just took their time, talked to other employees and got to me and others when he could. I have also seen this with other employees. and a lack of enthusiasm or happiness.Maybe lack of morale? I have been to other stores where it is just the opposite. I also hear that they hired security because of a rash of thefts. It is the day and time we are living in. Overall I get what I need but this store is not what it used to be.

Not enough staff to stock store, check-out, and keep store clean

This location is so close to my house I love the convenience. Some days I have to wait in long lines or some days they maybe out of some products but covid hit this location hard. Most of the workers are great and give back the same energy as you give them. So if you are nice to them they are nice back and happy to assist with any of your needs. Today Corinne went over and beyond for me and I so appreciated everything she did for me that she didn’t have to. The other morning Mai stopped what she was doing and opened a real register for me because I only had cash and self check out isn’t excepting cash at this time. Sometimes you have to take a deep breath when things are perfect and realize the workers are stressed with the shortage of help and supplies not just you. Sometimes a lil kindness means a lot to our essential workers. Take a minute to say hello, how are you, thank you anything ❤️

Worst Kroger in the history of Kroger's. Rude teenager managers who hang up on you. Very slow staff with zero integrity. Go to Whole Foods.

This is the dreaded Kroger's that is closest to where I live I occasionally have to go to. Where do I start? Terrible lines. Picked over, because it's the main grocery store in this area. U-Scans are antiquated, the absolute worst, takes forever to check out. If I wasn't honest, I could have got about half a dozen items free, because they are faulty. Now today, my 5 for 5 items didn't come off which I had 13 participating items. So, I had to wait for the manager to okay my $10 delaying this agonizing grocery shopping experience yet longer. Never do they offer help when leaving with 2 carts of groceries. I thought it would be quicker trying this Kroger once again for a large order just to disappoint again. Back to the Carpenter Road Kroger's or any other Kroger's or grocery store than this one.

I understand that Covid is impacting the stores but I HATE having to check my own groceries out myself ! If you apply to be a checker it's BS that they are dying to hire people, they want one person to man 6 self checkouts. The lines are stupid long and one regular checkout if you are lucky! If I have to do all the work to get my groceries, where's my REWARD or discount ??? !!!

They have vegetarian sushi near the deli

Fresher than fresh huh? That's if you HAVE any produce. Going downhill fast. This store used to be a good one. Sad

This location has gone downhill, stay away. We used to love this Kroger location was fast and efficient. Obviously things have changed and I am waiting in a single line for the self checkout with 100 of my new closest friends. We'll everyone seems like they know everyone already because they have been stuck in line together so long. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location

not that I expect this to happen anytime soon, but JUST MAYBE if Kroger paid their workers a decent wage, there would be less turnover and the store would be better staffed. if you treat your workers right, and appreciate their hard work, they'll stick around. if you don't, they won't. I saw checkout lines go almost halfway to the back of the store today because only 3 checkouts were open, and only 1 u-scan.

I live in Milan, and there is a kroger here. But I frequent a couple different gyms near the Whittaker Road location. I'm very glad that the Kroger that way is better taken care of, cleaner, and just has a larger selection. This is a great store. Considerably nicer than the surrounding locations.
