Lucky Garden has been a staple in Ypsilanti. Sometimes over looked because it’s north of EMU campus. The best Chinese food in Ypsilanti and with the new ownership it’s somehow gotten even better. Some of my favorites are Hunan Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, and the Won Ton Soup is great.
The meat in the dishes here is good, but there's upcharges, new management, and the flavor is mediocre. Always skimpy on the rice, you'll get something with bamboo shoots or water chestnuts and there will only be 2 in a large dish... Just not what I'm looking for.
Their service is very kind. Must try their hot and sour soup, it's very delicious. The sesame chicken and fried rice are also very good. It is a Chinese restaurant with a high value.
