The food is fantastic—everything from the greens and onion rings to the okra and homemade desserts. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff is genuinely kind and friendly. It’s the perfect spot for some hearty comfort food, especially during the colder months.
We had a large group stop in here while in town for a nearby concert. Didn't think to call ahead but we were looking for a chicken restaurant and Google lead us here. Even though the food is cooked to order we didn't have to wait long. Staff was helpful and courteous. Everyone in our group loved their orders, food was amazing. Will definitely come back myself to try additional menu items.
Our family was visiting the area from PA and decided to try this place. The chicken is cooked per order and served piping hot. The food was really good. Nice vibe and very welcoming. We will be back when we travel to Michigan again.
