Can’t believe I drove by this place for so long without realizing what it was. Seriously best BBQ I have had in Southeast MI. Literally everything we had off the menu was amazing. Mac and Cheese along with the brisket was the best I think I’ve ever had anywhere. The quantities are smaller but prices are decent. It’s definitely not the classic pile of meat on a cafeteria tray style BBQ, but the flavor makes up for it. The vibes inside were awesome, dark speakeasy with exposed...
The Boulder sandwich was very good. I opted to add pimento cheese. I do feel for the price however, it should come with fries, or a side. I tried the original bbq sauce and the South Carolina sauce, both were good. The service was good. I wouldn’t normally get a burger at a barbecue place, but I might try the smash burger next time. Would recommend.
refreshed decor good barbecue of smoked wings, brisket, pulled pork and chicken. Creative bartenders and fair prices. collard greens side dish was spicy and my dining companion ate all of it. The mini cornbread loaves were a bit too sweet. overall great and looking forward to going back.
