I have had some terrible coney dogs in my life. This is the second worst experience ever. A Bar-S hotdog tastes better than the one at Sinbad's, and that's embarrassing because Bar-S is the worst. My wife's "Grilled Chicken Salad" came to the table looking 'blah'. The "grilled" chicken portion on a large salad was, maybe, generously estimated as 1 ½ ounce and cold for having just come from the grill. We will not be returning!

A longtime neighborhood favorite with lightning fast service! Love their breakfasts, though I'm sure they're great anytime, my go to for comfort pancakes whenever I get out of the hospital!

I was really looking forward to liking this place but it’s a no thanks for me. My Sunnyside eggs were gooey and undercooked. The hashbrowns tasted off and so did the sausage. My stomach started to hurt before I left the restaurant. Server was really cold and unfriendly. (The older one with the Medusa hair.)

Clean seat yourself diner where the service team knows many of the customers, love the small town atmosphere , I ordered the veggie omelette with light roasted sourdough lightly toasted. My food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Service was friendly and attentive.

I was looking for a gyro. The ad said that they had them. They had a good menu but, no gyros. They were polite and they said I could go to another place nearby.

Just what you want in a diner - good food, prompt service, and fair prices. I got an omelet, hash browns and toast and while it was all very good, I was coveting my husband's lasagne special with soup bar. All this for around $20! Will be back when we are visiting the area!

DO NOT GO HERE DO NOT GO HERE DO NOT GO HERE. I am beside myself. I am literally in my car outside of their restaurant in the parking lot riding this. I am shaking and I am in tears. I am such a fool. I went to this restaurant for the first time when I moved here back in March for cancer treatment. It was a Saturday and there were only two servers because one called off and every table was taken but the two that worked did a good job with grace under pressure. Although the experience was miserable but I figured it was just an unusual circumstance so I went back today. I have chemotherapy tomorrow and money is tight with my budget. That's nobody's fault. That's my reality. For the next few days I will be down on my back recovering from treatment so our debate over where I wanted to treat myself today and I came here. The server presented the spaghetti and I could not eat it as soon as I saw it was loaded with onions in the sauce and I never even touched it. She asked if I would like something else and I got the tuna melt. She brought the truck when I was about halfway finished with my sandwich and I saw I was being charged for the spaghetti. My stomach started shaking and turning because I cannot afford $22 on a lunch especially a lunch that I did not eat I did not eat any more of my sandwich because I was sitting there in my head trying to figure out how the hell am I going to for this. I have never had a restaurant do this and she told me it was a decision made by the kitchen. I asked to speak with the person who made the decision and he told me it was my fault because I did not inquire what all the ingredients are. He said every customer sits and looks at their menu and ask about every ingredient that's in every item. That is complete bull. The waitress flat out lied to me because the man said he thought I was taking the spaghetti with me which is why he charged me. Nice cover but that's not true and the spaghetti was not going with me. It never was going to leave with me. Suddenly they are all trying to cover their butt as to why this happened and if the spaghetti was supposed to go home with me why did they give it to me. Where was it? It was taken away from the table. When I went to the counter to pay nothing was said to me about offering me the spaghetti to go. The waitress boldface lied to my face. She did not want to have to avoid the charge on the check because her tip would go down. She did not get a tip. And I am going to tell this experience to everybody that lives within the proximity of this establishment. The good people of Ypsilanti deserve better. I know they have the regulars and maybe those people became accustomed to the lack of service here but I never under any circumstance patronize them. I live in a building in downtown ypsi what's 170 apartments. We have a bulletin board. Guess what is going to be posted on that board? What put me over the edge was to insult me by telling me it was my fault.
