The Tap Room is a historic bar in Downtown Ypsilanti. The service is fantastic. Particularly Tawny and Justin, they are amazing!The food is perfect bar food. The whiskey and beer selection are on point.You can shoot pool or just kick back and chill.It’s the perfect neighborhood bar.

Love the inclusivity here! My partner and I are regulars at Wednesday night drag bingo. The beer is good, the staff is really hard working, the kitchen actually knows how to cook an impossible burger, and my partner LOVES the flat bread pizza. Plus you get a free shot on your birthday! I appreciate this Ypsi staple so much. I've never had a bad time here.

Aaron the bartender is fantastic. We make it a point to stop every time we come up to Michigan. The food here is great, the drinks are very well priced, and it's got a great dive bar feel to it without being dirty and grimy. If you're in ypsi, come have a drink!

Last night after the lions loss i went to the tap room to drowned my sorrows. I realize I was hungry and I started looking at the menu, I got a tab burger and fries, this was so tasty, it had everything on it, it's what I needed. I had a couple of pints, just enjoyed myself. The tap room has a rich history in Ypsilanti, my father drank in this fine establishment in the 1950s. In the mid 90s the tap room had a renovation and resurgence, now its a popular hotspot in Ypsi night life. The outside still retains its 1940s appearance. This is a great place to stop in, have a drink, enjoy the atmosphere. So the next time you're in downtown Ypsilanti stop in. The Tap Room is a definite recommend,

Came in late after a show at ziggys, ordered a bunch of drinks ans food for our group, everything g game out hot and the drinks were great. We played pool and met a lot of fun people. Always good people there. The server was busy as heck but took care of all of us perfectly.
