Soooo happy that they've been including more vegan protein!!!!
They need to do better still, but there's been some great improvement!

The commons? A wonderful place. More like “The Welcoming”. The workers are fantastic and answer any questions I have. Sometimes they do be chit chating… but as soon as I single them. They give me their undivided attention. I also LOVE the fact that I can request music on the rockbox. The breakfast… muah, chef kiss. Literally, I want to kiss the chef that makes the breakfast.
Dietary restrictions: Have a whole station for dietary restrictions.

The salad bar is effed up (meat always mixed in with the tofu) and emudining says you can't share meal swipes with others even if you only get 3 meals per day. Why do they care what I do with my paid-for limited number of meals?
Emudining sucks

Stop closing Wise Hall, I pay to eat here I should chose where I can sit and eat.
Unprofessional, rude, disorganized.
Most of the supervisors have no formal training in food service. They don't have much knowledge of the health codes.
They confuse Chartwells policy with health department requirements.
They schedule people to cover different stations. When the person covering the station gets mad because their replacement didn't show up the "supervisors" think it's funny that the replacement had the day off.
The kitchen manager has no respect for wearing a beard net. He makes rude comments about employees.
They spend a lot of money on precooked and prepackaged food. Because very few of the employees know how to cook from scratch or prep veggies for a salad or recipe. They wait until the station is totally empty before they start to cook (heat up) any.
Vegetarian options: Mostly just the salad bar.
Dietary restrictions: Only option is to get a microwaved meal that may have been packaged days before.
Parking: Campus parking.
Kid-friendliness: Campus dining room. College students.
Wheelchair accessibility: Limited room to maneuver.

Food is mediocre. Online menu is rarely accurate. Most food tastes like frozen precooked from a major company.Even though all they have to do is heat up the food they aren't very competent. If you complain to anyone they just laugh and walk away mumbling. I once got pink chicken tenders and soggy unseasoned fries. The pizza is either cut into 6 or 16 slices and sometimes the pepperoni has as few as 10 pieces on the pizza. The meatloaf has more grease than meat. The salad bar has brown lettuce, limp tomatoes, water in almost every pan. Most of the time they don't have orange juice. Their fruit in the fruit water looks like it has been recycled a few times.Rarely is anyone friendly. We are just an inconvenience to the staff. Many don't seem to understand that they are supposed to wear gloves and wash their hands.Try to find a clean table anytime. The condiment bar usually has a huge pile of condiments and dried condiments on the spouts.

There was an insane amount of hair in my food, and it isn’t the first time it’s happened. Biting into my food and seeing full strands of hair is ridiculous.

Poor attitudes and lack of adhering to health codes. Some people don't wear a hat or hairnet as required by health codes. When asked their comments are nonchalant because they don't work for the kitchen. They think because they are office supervisors or interns they don't have to abide by the regulations. One intern's hair kept falling into the food. She thought it was funny.Several people are on their phones and handling utensils and pans without washing their hands or using gloves. Some of them think it's okay to put on gloves without washing their hands.Their hot plates are not up to proper temperature. I can put my hand flat on the surface without any discomfort. The fries are rarely seasoned. Just dumped from the fryer into the pans. The grill staff many times doesn't start to cook food until they are totally out and think it's funny we may have to wait up to 10 minutes to get any.The pizza is a nasty frozen crust with no taste and poorly topped. There is a kitchen supervisor running around without a beard net as required by the Health Department. They don't know the answers to simple questions or refuse to answer because they know it will make them look bad. Many times they are out of orange juice.Tables are rarely cleaned by the staff. The condiment area has large clumps of condiments under the spouts. Not a very welcoming environment. Rude staff and filthy dining room.
Vegetarian options: Basically just a salad.
Dietary restrictions: Very limited access to special dietary needs.
Parking: Very poor access to campus parking.

Poor hygiene. Employees constantly on their phones. Don't wash their hands or many either aren't wearing gloves or don't change gloves.Food is cold much of the time. Sometimes runs out of food and don't replenish quickly. Many people aren't wearing a hat or hairnet as required by health codes. One chubby guy doesn't wear a beard net as required by health codes. If you say anything about it their response is nasty. I saw a lot of cell phones and very little hand washing. Many people aren't wearing hats. They laughed when I tried to complain. Many times there isn't any orange juice. When you let them know that the restrooms are out of paper towels they tell you it's not their job. They don't care.Sometimes the music is way too loud. We are there to eat and study. Not hanging out at the bar.Reduce the ripoff prices for the one and two meal plans.Hire competent employees.
Vegetarian options: Very limited.
Parking: Campus parking. Almost non-existent depending on when you arrive.
