Taking some time off work to recover from surgery, I was having a hard time desiring to eat anything. I didn't want any of my regular places, so I searched up Cafes on Cross St Ypsilanti and up came The Deep End Cafe & Gallery. It's a quiet location on the outside and homey on the inside but the food and beverages have blown my taste buds away! I ordered the Banana Butter Crunch that includes bananas, peanut butter and cinnamon on a grilled tortilla and I am so sad to be on my last bite. I'll have to stop by again :) I also tried the Chai Heart Smoothie which was the perfect pairing. I hope to feel better on my next stop in because they have beautiful art pieces and items on sale from what I believe to be local artists.

Rather you’re looking for a great place to stop by for your morning coffee or tea. Or grabbing a quesadilla before a business meeting. The Deep End Cafe & Gallery provides more than your local cafe when it comes to great customer service. With a tasteful array of food options, a seasonal refreshing drink menu and and a nice musical rotation in the background. This is definitely a chill, relaxing spot for business owners, students and local artist all in one. Definitely deserving of 5 stars.

Randomly found this place. The coffee and smoothies were amazing. The employees are awesome and the business also showcases local artists and vendors, so it's just a good place to check out.

I love this space. My favorite is a Banana Cream Smoothie ( taste like banana pudding) and Chicken Quesadillas. The Lemon Squares are off the chain as well. I love going to Kareoke Night. Check out their events in Instagram

Went in for coffee, but ended up getting a smoothie instead. The smoothie was delicious and very refreshing. Prices are super reasonable (around $6-$7, where as many juice/smoothie places charge much more). The staff member that I interacted with was very nice and knowledgeable. Hope TDE sticks around! Very cute!
