I go every Thursday for Karaoke and have never had a bad meal or an empty glass!
Spencer is a great waiter and I just had the best smash burger I've ever had in my life. Our food was fantastic as was the service. Great, chill vibe too. Def recommend!
Love coming here for the atmosphere and the very comforting bar food. Taylor the bar manager really seems to be on top the ball for the modern standards of cooperation with staff and the various parts of the house. If you're in the area and willing to try something unique but classically familiar stop by and try them out.
Great food, great spot! Taylor is fantastic, they always give fantastic service every time I’m in! They always check up and make sure everyone is taken care of no matter how packed the place is!
Taylor gave excellent service and made me a wonderful cocktail. I always appreciate them being such a good bartender they are the reason I come.
Ark is a solid bartender 🤞🏽
10/10 will be back
Arks the best! They’ve added new food that hits 10/10 time
the mocktails here are very good and the bartenders are very friendly !! especially ark
Since this pub is mainly burgers and brats and it managed to have several very tasty, vegan options, other bars and restaurants have no excuse and should follow suit! Lots of great beers and ciders plus a full bar, Ryan our bartender was super friendly. It has kind of a hipster vibe in there, but so many demographics were represented in the clientele. It’s hard to pigeonhole this place. It’s right on Cross Street near plenty of parking which is free in the evening. it has kind of a hipster vibe in there, but so many demographics were represented in the clientele. Def not the best

Good service, kinda people. But terrible food (like fr). We ask 4 burgers, 3 are burned. Bread burn, meet burn, bacon burn, i ask medium rare and give me well done. The best part was when we leave. Also overpriced for a burgers to come without fries. A big skip.

Big fan of the place before they downsized...the atmosphere feels very different and changes the dynamic in some way. The staff are typically really nice and attentive... We left once around a year ago because the bartender didn't even glance our way when we sat at the bar (8 mins).
The food is really creative and typically very good. Really appreciate their rotating beer selection. It's still a must do when you're in Ypsi!

The first thing that hits you is a strong smell of pot coming from the dispensary next door which permeates the entire bar. Eventually I went nose blind to it but it's the first thing and not a great start.
I hadn't been here in years but the new layout does the place no favors. Oddly shaped and not really welcoming compared to the large open space I remember from years past. It now feels cluttered and small.
We were a party of 4 with no other tables in use and a few people at the bar. The menus were sticky, with food spots and stains. Food wise, it was fine and the beer was cheap as it was happy hour. The buffalo chicken sandwich I had was good as was the poutine tots but pretzels at a bar with no cheese or mustard is odd. Odder still is served with sweet cinnamon marshmallow fluff. Their recommended brat was pretty flavorless.
What tanks this place is the service. We were the only table in the place and the food took much too long to come out. Apps took 20 minutes as did entrees. We sat with empty water glasses for at least 10 minutes with no other tables to serve which is kinda crazy. I asked for a pretzel bun and got a brioche. My friend asked for no tomatoes on their burger and had to take them off. The side salad doesn't come with dressing as part of the price and the dressing is extra. What kind of place charges extra for the salad dressing on a salad?
If you want cheap beer or a drink, maybe this is your place but I can think of many better alternatives nearby. Thompson and co, Aubree's, and sidetracks offer better food, drinks, and service and are just down the road.
Will not be back.

I visited at about 4 pm. No free parking anywhere in downtown Ypsilanti and not for this business. The draft beer was warm and the bratwurst was average. I came because of the reviews; however, my standards must be higher than most. I won't be back. If there was better parking and cold beer, it might be a great place later in the evening. Staff were pleasant.
