Current Restaurant & Bar

Working in the industry myself, I'm always thrilled to find a restaurant that excels in all all areas. Ambiance, service and food. The employees were exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and made us feel special!

We ate at the Afton House Inn Fine Dining, Dining Room. The staff is courteous and friendly. They were helpful and so kind. We just loved our server, Phillipe! The blackened Mahi Mahi was s bit dry, but we were told they may try a new recipe on the menu to remedy that so do ask if they have a new addition to try. Steak Diane is always good and something we have been back for numerous times! The green beans and potatoes were cooked to perfection as well! It was the perfect birthday celebration for my husband and a wonderful place to relax after the holiday. The festive decorations were still up so it looked so beautiful.

Thank you for serving Thanksgiving dinner. It was just my husband and I this year, so we appreciated having a great restaurant to go to for a lovely meal. The food was delicious, service good and we had a great time.

Service was extremely slow. It took over a hour for appetizers to arrive and then another hour for our main course. We wanted to do desert but after two and a half hours it just wasn't worth it.

I took my better half there for date night and she loved it. Phillip was our server and he made the whole experience that much better.

Brunch menu was everything we could want. Loved the Monte Cristo. Service was fantastic. Waiter was very attentive.

Took my parents there for lunch for their 61st Anniversary. The food and service were great! Everyone was really friendly. Dan, the owner, went above and beyond and made it a very special occasion for my parents!

My wife and ordered takeout from Current Restaurant while staying at the Afton House Inn. The Pear flatbread was fantastic. The service was great. They were short staffed but still brought us our food very quickly! Thank you Current!

Food. Bad. We got the peach prosciutto flatbread. It was fine but tasted like it sat for a bit before coming out. Mussels tasted old and overcooked. They did end up taking them off which was appreciated. $9 for kids grilled cheese and a small thing of yogurt seemed a bit aggressive. Service was not great. Took at least 45 minutes for food to come out on a Saturday around 4pm. Place was not busy. Server was almost non-existent. Came to our table to ask how our food was (with check in hand) and we had not even received our food yet.

Service was good. However, very overpriced bar food. Paid $100 for 2 adults, 2 children. And I’m not kidding… flies EVERYWHERE. We counted at least 12 buzzing around harassing us and at other tables. Also, we were told no baby changing tables in the whole building.

Enjoyed this stop with my pup after a good hike at Afton Alps. I enjoyed the Ceasar salad (lemon/dry mustard forward) and the steak bites were great. They have a specific menu for the doggos! Service was great.

Our server was inattentive and rude and condescending when confronted about it. Definitely would not recommend!!!!! Rude rude rude!
