Current Restaurant & Bar

3 of 4 meals were very good, but the walleye was not at all the same quality. The fish was dry, overly breaded, with no texture or flavor.

The food at Current is always reliably fantastic!! We've never been disappointed! We sat at the patio, rather than indoors. The patio is fairly simple, with metal chairs & table, table umbrella, a few flower boxes, so nothing too elaborate. But again the food and service was outstanding, Liz was a very attentive smiley welcoming part of the wait staff!

Delicious food and great service.

We stopped by for dinner on Tuesday the first at around 7pm. We were seated outside where almost all the other tables were filled with other guests. Our server got our drinks for us fast, which was nice. Once we placed an order for an appetizer it took 15 to 20 minutes to get our appetizer (the truffle fries, which are very good.) We spent another half hour waiting on our server before she came to take our orders for the main course. By this point all the other tables had been given boxes and paid, and most of the patrons in the restaurant had left. We spent half an hour waiting for our food, when there were only 2 of us and we ordered with no modifications. Finally our food came out, and when we asked for a box to put our appetizer in, our server left and never came back out. We spent another half an hour waiting for her to come back out with the box, and finally went inside to ask someone for the bill.

The food was alright, if a little bland and expensive, but high prices are expected for touristy main street places. The main issue was the fact that our server entirely forgot about us on 2 separate occasions, and we had to go inside to find someone to get us to pay. The lack of professionalism was extremely disappointing given the price point of the food. I would not recommend eating here unless you get seated inside, so that you aren't forgotten about.

We had a Wednesday night reservation for our anniversary and it was wonderful! We actually had the whole dining room to ourselves the entire dinner, which was over 2.5 hours! One little thing per food item kept it from being a 5 (salmon & crème brulee were each left in the oven about a minute or two too long, and the lava cake was a tad dry). But we ate everything anyway because it was still delicious! I presume if we had been there on a slightly busier night, all of the details would've been great. Server was professional, yet conversational, as she trained another server. We will definitely be back!

Excellent food, beverages, and service!

The restaurant was very nice, our server was great, friendly and very helpful. Everyone loved their food, it was a great experience. The building was very nice, some great touches. Loved the wood floors and the sink between the bathrooms was very unique.

During reservation the say outside table were booked. We got there the tables were many and no one was there. So we set outside. Service was very bad and she was very pushy with services. No cake for my daughter's birthday. No taste on the food. It was just ok. For price and service is not worth it.

I know next time to come with a bigger appetite lol. Their appetizers are a nice size! Shareable for a few people easily. Liked the Blue Skies mocktail too

Working in the industry myself, I'm always thrilled to find a restaurant that excels in all all areas. Ambiance, service and food. The employees were exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and made us feel special!

The food was AMAZING! Our server Nicole was very knowledgeable of the menu and did a grand job serving us on a busy night. We appreciate the top notch hospitality. We will most certainly recommend this place for dates, events or just a night out for a unique and tasteful experience!!

We ate at the Afton House Inn Fine Dining, Dining Room. The staff is courteous and friendly. They were helpful and so kind. We just loved our server, Phillipe! The blackened Mahi Mahi was s bit dry, but we were told they may try a new recipe on the menu to remedy that so do ask if they have a new addition to try. Steak Diane is always good and something we have been back for numerous times! The green beans and potatoes were cooked to perfection as well! It was the perfect birthday celebration for my husband and a wonderful place to relax after the holiday. The festive decorations were still up so it looked so beautiful.

Super disappointing. Waitress ignored us for must of the time while talking to other tables. Never asked us if we wanted more drinks and just gave us the tab. Didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. Don’t order the walleye, very bland.

Thank you for serving Thanksgiving dinner. It was just my husband and I this year, so we appreciated having a great restaurant to go to for a lovely meal. The food was delicious, service good and we had a great time.

Service was extremely slow. It took over a hour for appetizers to arrive and then another hour for our main course. We wanted to do desert but after two and a half hours it just wasn't worth it.
