We had an amazing dinner and awesome service. The best part was the hostess who greeted us! She was the best start to a dinner I have ever had and she checked on us throughout dinner!
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and stayed at the Afton Inn. The dinner at the Afton Inn restaurant was superb. Our waitress was terrific. She offered advice, and was extremely helpful. We started with a shrimp appetizer, followed by the seafood chowder. Both were excellent. For our main course, we both had the strip steak. They were prepared perfectly and were excellent. Being too full for dessert, our waitress suggested the truffles. She brought a plate of three...
The food at Current is always reliably fantastic!! We've never been disappointed! We sat at the patio, rather than indoors. The patio is fairly simple, with metal chairs & table, table umbrella, a few flower boxes, so nothing too elaborate. But again the food and service was outstanding, Liz was a very attentive smiley welcoming part of the wait staff!
