“Cloud 9 Energy Bowls is my daughters’ and my favorite acái bowl business, and that’s saying a lot as we have been to chains & independent ventures across the country. On top of their plethora of tasty bases, I love that they offer several fruits & other toppings. For example, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, bananas, blueberries, Goji berries, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, almond butter, & peanut butter. Even better— their almond butter and peanut butter are smooth—not clumpy like others. We have been to both locations (Albertville & Waite Park) on numerous occasions. Additionally, they have protein bites sold in a small container (7 bites) easy for freezing or eating on the go. They are delicious!“

“Such an incredible juice bar. There is nothing like this in the Twin Cities. It's worth the drive to Otsego even if you are a city dweller like me!Family owned businesses are rare these days. “Earlier today I stopped into Takeoff Nutrition in Elk River for the first time. The owner Mel and her dog Hero were very kind and welcoming. I stepped back for about 5 minutes and looked at the menu. Mel gave me a break down of the different things on the menu. She was very helpful! The atmosphere was very uplifting and laid back. The building was also very clean. There was no rush to make up my mind on what I wanted. Finally I asked her to surprise me with a shake and tea she enjoyed. Still she asked questions to see what my preferences were. You can tell she cares about her customers and business. I will definitely stop back again!Most importantly the shake and teas were both great and reasonably priced! She even asked me to try them before I left to make sure I was satisfied. “I was very excited when I heard we were getting something other than a Caribou or Target Starbucks! As others have said, it is conveniently located right off of the Monticello 94 exit. It is, however, a hassle to get to once you take the exit. The line moves relatively fast, and the drinks are pretty good when you want to switch things up. I love the variety of Scoot Energy Infusions (Redbull-like flavored drinks), the seasonal hot coffees, and the cake balls. I would eventually love to try their actual breakfast items as well. My teen daughter is also a big fan of their iced coffee drinks (duh). The staff is always friendly, and from what I've seen, they keep the outside area clean, which is always lovely.“
