Almost didn't give this place a shot tonight, very happy we did though. I couldn't have expected better food for some quick takeout late on a Sunday night. Didn't go after anything exotic. Tried the Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls and Wontons. All very tasty but not overpowering with sauces or anything. A new local favorite!
This place was sticky? The floors, tables, etc. The interiors were pretty worn out. It could really use some up grades. The food okay but not as good or plentiful as hoped. The service the same. Maybe better take out?

We left! Usually this place is pretty good! (That’s why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1) however last week, we were told to seat our selves at a booth. Servers kept walking past us, helping other customers but never greeted us, we left after 15 minutes of waiting.

My friend and I get sushi monthly, and this place is number one ranked in our list! This is our go-to if we don’t feel like trying something new. The quality for the price is unmatched in the area.
We love Joy Kitchen. I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed them before. We love the sushi and the Chinese options. Summer Roll is 100% my favorite item, and the wontons and egg rolls are delicious, fresh, crispy, and served piping hot. The sweet and sour is an excellent balance— most of the time I don’t use it anywhere else, but Joy Kitchen has the best sweet and sour. Kiddo gets tempura shrimp appetizer for her main and white rice, and we alternate between whatever we are craving, but it’s all excellent. Even things I haven’t specifically cared for isn’t because that specific thing isn’t “good”— quality and freshness is always spot-on— it’s just a personal taste bud preference. One of my favorite things to see when entering any type of sushi or Chinese place is the big box of fresh snap peas getting de-stringed… every time I have ever seen that, the veggies used are crisp and colorful, and Joy Kitchen follows that trend.

We have gotten a take out before and today decided to go in for lunch. The food is delicious, especially the fried rice (we got it with shrimp). Our 3 year old could not stop eating it. Very good!
