Better lattes than any chain- a little more spendy, but you get what you pay for. They roast their own beans which makes all the difference. Staff is friendly and hosts community nights for book clubs, connections, and crafts. Extra bonus points for being queer friendly in the North Metro 💚 Check out the bookshop up the stairs, they're also amazing.

The coffee is absolutely amazing! But don’t be expecting to purchase food while you’re there. All they had to offer was stale scones, tiny muffins and breads.

I'm not sure why the lady at the register had to stick her finger in my face 3 times in order to take my order. I'm new at ordering coffee here, and she made sure I knew it. I felt intimidated and threatened at how she invaded my space and corrected how I spoke. I was just trying to support this local business. She seemed very frustrated and got me frustrated as well. - This happened on Saturday Sept 20th at about 11 am

Metta Coffee is a true gem in Anoka! The coffee and espresso are delicious, the space is welcoming and inclusive, and the monthly specialty drinks are always super creative. If the weather permits, there’s a magical outdoor patio space in the back. It’s absolutely worth spending a little more to support this amazing local spot over a big chain. Highly recommend! I’m a weekly visitor (or more) to read, work or visit with friends.

A coffee shop where EVERYONE is welcome! Great coffee, love the theme they have each month with specialty drinks. Great atmosphere, lots of seating indoors and out and its located under a bookstore!
Metta Coffee is a very welcoming place. I love the rotation of drink choices. There are also events that provide many different experiences. There is so much good to say about Metta Coffee!
