“The ribs on Thursday are the best around and better than we can find in the Twin Cities. Other favorites is the Friday night fish fry, burgers and the pepperoni pizza rolls. Everything on the menu is good.”

“Stopped for a late breakfast/early lunch when coming from Fortune Bay. Had the special, which was a berry cheesecake waffle. It was spectacular. Food arrived quickly, server was attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back!”

“Located across the highway from the Country Store, this adorable ice cream stands serves delicious ice cream, floats, shakes, malts and sundaes. You’ll be greeted by that good ‘ol Northern Minnesota hospitality! There are places to park your cars and your bums :). Make sure you make the stop!”

“Get to cabin with motivation to swim, pontoon, fish and to have this pizza. Fresh, cheesy, many choices. Cook is the nicest person. There are also wraps, salads, breakfast burritos and other goodies. The atmosphere is back of Gas station store. Seating is in orange booths for 4 along windows overlooking gas pumps, Ice cream is good too.. We do enjoy it but usually pick up for take out to eat at the lake.”

“Went there for lunch this last Saturday and I was beyond impressed. The food was excellent. Service was perfect. What a gem of a waitress. But back to the food. My girl had a Reuben and she ate the whole thing! She never does that. And my prime rib Philly… Yeah, perfect. Well worth the drive from Lake Vermilion. You won’t be disappointed….”

“It was a good, clean place, they have everything. In the area and within walking distance there is a hotel, 2 truck stops fast food restaurants and even a Walmart.Parking: Parking is behind the hotel. There is space for about 10 trucks maybe.”
