Ginny is absolutely incredible to work with! Not only is she so fun and creative, but her desserts are pure magic. For our New Orleans–themed celebration dinner with 150 guests, she crafted five different varieties of cupcakes that captured the spirit of New Orleans perfectly. Every bite was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them all night long! She also designed our wedding cake, which was not only decadent but truly flawless. Her desserts weren’t just treats—they were a highlight of the entire evening!

I hadn't had gator before, but this Alligator Po'boy sold me on it. I'll need to try their other baked goods too - they looked just as good!

Ginny customized an apple pie for me on rather short notice. My partner’s dad loved it! It made his 70th so special. It was beautiful, delicious, and fresh. And the best part: not too sweet. Thanks so much!

We were in Anoka to get my son’s trombone repaired and stopped in Ginny’s to grab a quick lunch. We each ordered the chicken salad croissant, but it was such a generous size that we ended up splitting it and taking the other one to go. It was SO delicious! On our way out we grabbed some sweets to enjoy at home too. This bakery is so cute and welcoming that I could have easily spent the entire afternoon there! We will definitely be back!
Chicken salad sandwich was absolutely amazing. Very adorable cafe with delicious looking baked goods. Will definitely be back to try more things!

Another incredible addition to downtown Anoka. So far have tried the key lime and banana pudding desserts and both were outstanding! The chicory French press coffee is super delicious as well. Have also tried the egg salad croissant and Muffuletta and both were amazing. The owner is always working there and super helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend you check it out.

This place is the”bee’s knees”! Quaint shop of southern charmed merchandise and excellent bakery goods. Not your normal run of the mill bakery choices, so much better, all baked with love. ❤️ Wonderful sandwich choices for lunch too! Love the ’gator po-boys!

Little hole in the wall bakery that does its community proud. Unassuming neighborhood appeal and tasty treats.
The Place serves their coffee French pressed which impressed me.
The cinnamon rolls were huge and tasty. I asked for no icing which was no problem for them.

I stopped in here with my mom for a slice of pie and hot chocolate/coffee. The food was amazing and the coffee and hot chocolate were just as good too! We had a slice of almond toffee pie. The have a nice little variety of baking ingredients, Cajun dish ingredients, beverages and sweets. Try the muffins or a slice of pie!! So wholesome and sweet. A must stop in Anoka!! ?

Stopped in for the first time ever and shared a cinnamon roll. Very soft and chewy but tasted like straight flour... took a Nutella stuffed cookie to go for my son and it was so hard, didn't taste well at all and was pretty dry.. not impressed. And to walk in and exspect a bakery and see pretzel covered chocolate for $3 was a pretty big turn off. There were only like 5 genuine bakery type items... the rest was just wierd and I guestioned why it was even called a bakery and not "back of the box creations"... I was so excited to see a bakery so close to my home and pretty let down when I seen prices and selection.

Wow, a Southern Bakery bakery with sandwiches in downtown Anoka! I had a tomato sandwich and I could not believe how good it was. Surprise twist, the sandwich had cottage cheese and mayo and the softest bread ever. And then I bought to take home a pistachio data loaf and it was so delicious. And I haven’t tried the slice of chocolate zucchini cake yet but it looks amazing. More like a brownie than a cake. And it has chocolate chips! All in all, definitely would be back, 20 out of 10 stars. If you are in Anoka this place is 100% in home made, but in a professional kitchen which you can clearly see in the back of the restaurant. You can taste the quality.

Ginny’s carrot cake was AMAZING! I contacted her fairly last minute about a custom cake order for a party and she did everything she could to make it come through! Even with our custom photo not getting there on time due to reasons out of her control, the cake she presented was beautiful and most importantly exceeded all expectations taste-wise! She graciously refunded me for the photo that didn’t arrive in time but I have no complaints! I’m making it appoint to not only recommend her bakery to others (guests have already asked) as well as make a trip to try some other cakes!! Thank you Ginny!!
