“I hadn't been to Ambi for a year or so. I have always thought it was an adorable place with great service, wine, and food, BUT was really happy to see they've added more wine and food options, while still maintaining the same great level of service. The ladies working today were very pleasant. The Moscato Mule drink was fun. We are looking forward to patio season. Cheers!”

“This is a fun neighborhood place! I had the Reuben Sandwich, one of the best I have had. The staff is great. Service is quick. Seating is a little tight so just be ready to maybe wait for a few minutes for a table - it will be worth your time.”

“Such a cool place. Fun vibe inside, old time movies playing, nice decorations. Staff were very friendly and fast. Also, prices are very reasonable! We got a bunch of different drinks while here, mostly NA drinks because a lot of our group doesn't drink. All the drinks were great, my favorites were the Influencer and their NA mixup, which was a bartender special creation every time! Others got some beer, cocktails, and a Japanese whiskey flight. Everyone was very happy! We even got a charcuterie board too, pretty good. Will plan to come back here again! Great drinks and cool vibes!”

“I rented the Empire Room for my dads surprise birthday party and it was PERFECT. The space was beautiful and clean. Grace was great to work with start to finish. Everything was super seamless in terms of questions, billing, contract, etc. We did drink tickets and had the tap available right in the room. It was great and I would definitely recommend for you events!”

“A nice spot for a deli with plenty of seating for the early lunch group. I had the Ravn and my wife had the Woden. the sandwiches were full of flavor and they were filling. We both ate half there and brought half of the sandwich home. The Bacon Bleu Potato Salad is a must have. Like the sandwiches, it was exploding with flavor. The staff members we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. It was a great date day lunch.Parking: There is free ramp close to the venue with a small outdoor lot between the two. 3 hour parking on the street is more than enough for lunch and some looking around or shopping.”

“Took gramma out for some drinks and snacks, and we were absolutely NOT disappointed. The martinis were perfect. The food was to die for, and the service was top notch. “Loved the deep dish build-it-yourself I ordered yesterday. The pizza was delicious. The ingredients were wholesome and of generous quantity. I went for mozzarella, olives, mushrooms with a buttery crust. Recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.Suggestion: I requested a clean cut for the vegetarian pizza. The store doesn't offer this option. That wasn't a problem for me and I cut it myself at home. But it would be great if they offered this option for vegetarians who don't want meat-touched cutters on their pizzas. Vegetarians will really appreciate it.Vegetarian options: I went for a vegetarian option and loved the pizza as mentioned in my main review. If you're a pure vegetarian, then keep in mind that they do not offer a clean cut option and their cutters may have been used to cut meat. I requested an uncut pizza for myself that I cut at home.”

“Lunchtime. Not crowded by any means. My server was excellent and attentive to my drinks. I ordered "The Tornado" burger, medium-rare with fries. The burger arrived toward well-done and was just average for flavor. Considering it's a monster with bacon and cheese and an egg with peanut butter, I was expecting more to be going on in my mouth. It was just average. Oh well, the fries were EXCELLENT. Crispy on the outside and very hot!Got out the door for $20 including tip at +20% because she did a great job. So all told, I got what I paid for. It was definitely enough food.”

“What an amazing addition to the food scene in downtown Anoka. Ginny has a cute little store front that is stocked with fresh homemade southern style sweets. My favorite part is the absolutely amazing lunch specials she has daily. My favorite foods come from Louisiana and Ginny has brought them to our backyard. From her muffuletta to her Lucky Louie gator Po Boy (the most tender gator I have ate outside of Louisiana and that remoulade sauce needs to be bottled and sold). Her customer service is top notch and the cute little seating area is a great place to enjoy those sweets or lunch specials. This is a must if you’re in the area!”

“What a gem! Great selection of ice creams and the young staff are helpful, attentive, and friendly. It's hard to not leave the shop without a handful of pints for our freezer. They also make real ice cream cakes that are excellent! The first time I ordered one my pickup time was on the last day they were open before Christmas ? and there had been heavy snow that day. My car had died and I was not able to pick up the cake, but one of the owners delivered it to our house. Wow! We look forward to ? for many more years to come!”

We've had order mix-ups and the staff are very apologetic, offering a free meal or to remake the item. “I’ve known Dan the owner for a while I drank at the bar when he worked as the bartender at Billy’s. He took over ownership of this bar from when it was beer bellies and it’s a-lot better now. The mural on the front dressed it up but it’s still is a true dive bar. With good cheap priced burgers. It’s a somewhat smaller place but cozy and fun. I don’t drink anymore but I just want to say Dan is outstanding. I’ve seen him diffuse a lot of situations. He’s extremely patient and calm honestly I don’t know how he does it handling people when they’re too drunk especially when they get out of control but he’s awesome and handles it with grace. He’s always been one of my fav people I met in downtown anoka. I’m so happy he bought this place and turned it into a much better establishment. I don’t really drop by much anymore because I moved but I just want people to know. Dan is so kind hearted really cares about the people he’s serving. I just really hope you are lucky enough to meet him. He never drinks at his bar either I’ve never seen him have a drink before. The owners in the past would always be drinking at the bar. Honestly the previous owner creeped me out. They made the waitresses dress trashy and degrade them. There is a lot more to that but we’d be here for a while. Anyways can’t say enough good things about this place and how he’s turned it around.”

“I went through the drive-thru and ordered a regular coffee. Although I had to wait for awhile, they kindly informed me of a problem with their brewer and offered to give me another drink for the price of the regular coffee I ordered. They were kind, apologetic and the drink I did receive was delicious.”

“I have 4 locations that are all 1.5-2 miles from my house, and I always go here on Round Lake Blvd. The best service, my order is always right and tastes the best. I go there on Sundays with my boys and the person at the window always remembers that I don't need straws for their drinks. It's a small thing, but such great customer service.”

“The food is always hot and fresh, just not usually correct with my alterations. We once spent about 5 minutes trying to get my burger right, but ended up still being wrong. They don’t give napkins out more than 1-2 napkins no matter how big the order is, but not sure if that’s just policy or not. Otherwise, I really enjoy coming here. “OMG! So yummy. Ordered via Door Dash and the food came hot hot hot. Guess I’ll have to review our Dasher too! Ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Wonton Soup and cream cheese wontons (arrived crunchy and with a side of sweet duck sauce!). All items were very flavorful. I was so presently surprised as our other #1 Chinese take out place does not deliver. I will look forward to placing our next order and will try other dishes.
