“Lunchtime. Not crowded by any means. My server was excellent and attentive to my drinks. I ordered "The Tornado" burger, medium-rare with fries. The burger arrived toward well-done and was just average for flavor. Considering it's a monster with bacon and cheese and an egg with peanut butter, I was expecting more to be going on in my mouth. It was just average. Oh well, the fries were EXCELLENT. Crispy on the outside and very hot!Got out the door for $20 including tip at +20% because she did a great job. So all told, I got what I paid for. It was definitely enough food.“
“Don't let looks fool you. The food tastes wayyyyy better than what it looks like! I even enjoyed my child's leftover burger she didn't eat (and it was plain!). Wings were way better than Serums too. It's loud like a typical Anoka bar.“
“I wish SO badly that I could leave a five star review, because nine out of ten times we have phenomenal service. Unfortunately, our server today was INCREDIBLY unpleasant. I don’t know if this was because we brought our children in today? (Who were very pleasant, well-behaved, and polite) But she walked in the middle of my six-year-old ordering his food. She barked questions at us. And she stomped around like she would rather be literally anywhere but here. I almost asked if she was okay! Anyway, this place is almost always awesome. Just do your best to avoid an older brunette server with bangs and an awful attitude.“
“If you’re in Oak Grove MN you have to stop in and try this delicious restaurant out! You won’t be disappointed!Their food is amazing the popular Pancake that is the size of the plate is so yummy! You’ll probably have to take a to go box home! The owners are so nice they are usually cooking with the cooks in the back when they aren’t they are they are talking to the guest and making sure everything is going well! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! The restaurant itself is very clean I honestly don’t know a bar that is as clean as this one!The drinks are amazing along with Faith the Bartender she can make most any drink! They have holiday drinks when a holiday is coming! If you come here I betcha you will be back again! I have made so many great friends here! “First time there last night. Was told it was a 15-20 minute wait, no problem as I was waiting for my friend, it was FIVE minutes! Our server was nice & attentive. We enjoyed Happy Hour and had a fun night. Will definitely be back again!“
“Our waitress Brooke was great. Very busy night but she managed everything really well and always smiling. We were there last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary a few weeks early. We were married there as well as 6 years ago August 25th. Great place for a wedding too. I had the Ruben wich was excellent. My wife had the fish and chips and enjoyed them. Said was the best she's had in a long time. Keep up the great work.“
“Casual and cozy bar/diner (actually never been on the "restaurant" side) with a big menu. We always try to get a seat at the bar, good luck! Usually always busy and bustling. Bartenders and servers are friendly and attentive. Go here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... sure to satisfy!“
“Good bar food, good bar drink options, friendly staff. Maxine is the best! Popcorn and pull tabs, it kinda feels stuck in the 80's but sometimes that's a good thing. Besides, it's in Osseo which also seems like it's stuck in the 80's with the houses in the community being built in the 50's or older“
“Every table was full at lunchtime on a Friday and I'm not surprised. The food and service were outstanding.I had a Founders porter and a DJ burger (customized). They let me special order to turn that DJ burger into a Plaza burger a la Annie's in Dinkytown - that's sourcream, raw onion, and pumpernickel. It was delicious, memorable! The porter paired perfectly with the burger. I got fries and they were great too. The place was full but our service was very good. The prices were even reasonable, $13 +/- for a sandwich.“
“I'd been here before but it was a long time ago. A colleague mentioned the wings were so good so we came just for that.Sadly I was not impressed. Just a matter of preference I suppose. I like my wings SUPER crispy - no rubbery skin for me please. I asked for well done. What I got was very well done in spots with rubbery skin everywhere else and very little sauce. Decent enough flavor but I probably wouldn't order them next time. Everything else was fantastic - ambiance, service - absolutely my kind of place. There is a free parking ramp behind the bar which is awesome because there are 2 other bars right there and the street parking fills up fast during prime time.“
