“Love this place! I always have a shredded beef dish of some sort. I know it's homemade as a couple of times I have found a bay leaf inside my burrito or taco. Good thing I always add a bit of salsa to my stuff and check. I love sitting at the bar and trying the 3 different salsas that are available as a help yourself buffet style along with delicious chips. Love the margaritas but now I am spoiled, I tried one with Milagro silver tequila on the rocks. It is excellent! The Columbia Heights locale is my favorite, and I have tried each of the others! I have yet to try the patio in the summertime, so I can't tell you about it. The stained glass windows are amazing! Busy bustling place! I love it! And the staff is excellent! If I want to change an option on the menu, the staff is very accommodating. I would give this place 5 stars! I always take family and friends to La Casita Mexican Restaurant - Columbia Heights, MN when they come to visit!“

“I orginally ordered two grilled chicken tacos and one shredded beef taco, then I was still hungry so I ordered three additional grilled chicken tacos. The chicken meat was not very flavorful or hot, and the chicken meat seemed a bit chewy and tuff. The shredded beef taco was extremely greasy and gross. I only ate what i ordered that was served to out of respect and because I was extremely hungry. I ordered a ice water with a lemon with my meal, so there was no charge for that. Although when the bill came I was in shock to get a bill for $36 for six tacos with absolutely nothing else. I brought it to another staff members attention and he did a slight adjustment on my bill to make it $32 although that is still ridiculous for six tacos. I will never give this restaurant any business ever again and I am going to recommend all my colleagues,friends and associates don't give them any business either.“

“It has been a while since coming here under the new Ownership. I am glad I chose to reinvestgate. I ordered the Sothern fried steak, which came with hash browns and toast with coffee and water. The steak and gravy was one of the best I have ever had. The hash browns were good yet could have been browned a little more. The coffee was rich and did the job. Our Server was prompt and tentative. Great attitude. The price was an expected value, especially with the Senior discount. I am already planning a return trip to try some of their South American cuisine. I recommend giving this quiet place a try.“

“This is our favorite Mexican food truck in town. It is parked across from Menards in Brooklyn Park. We stop here for a quick most authentic Mexican food almost every time we visit Menards. Senior Benjamin is the friendliest cook we have ever met, we always try practicing our minuscule Spanish and he always plays along. They make burritos really fast and by far, their burritos taste better than Chipotle’s. Their burritos are packed with fresh flavorful Ingredients, with meats that are well marinated and seasoned to perfection. You can eat right there under the shade of the tree or take your order to go and eat at home. Their portions are huge! One burrito can easily feed two people.“

I relocated to the area in early 2020 from Nevada and since have been unable to find Mexican food that was comparable…until tonight. Picked this spot because it was the closet Mexican restaurant on the way home and it wasn’t a chain restaurant or fast food. This burrito is so good. It tasted like home and that was a really good feeling. This area is home now and this location will really help add to the feeling! “I really don’t have great experience late at night at fast food restaurants but BIG SHOUT OUT TO DWIGHT WHO WORKS LATER IN THE NIGHT. He’s patient, understanding and has a great personality. I literally go out of my way. (4 miles) to go to this specific Taco Bell because he’s always chill and happy to do his job with a great smile. He deserves a raise or promotion! Service was fine, but note that if you don't use the app or a kiosk, that you may need to wait a few minutes before you can submit your order since they do not staff the single order taking register they have. We had to order thus way since we had a free combo card that can only be redeemed by a human.

The lobby/eating area was clean except a coupke tables. But pretty good given it was lunch rush.

All in all, decent experience and better than most other Taco Bell restaurants I have been to.“

“I ended up coming here for dinner, and I ordered the Discovery Luxe Box, with a Baja Blast, and some Nacho Fries! The cantina tacos were so good, especially when you put the Jalapeno Citrus sauce on them! The burrito was decent. The Cinnamon twist thingies were also delicious! And the Nacho Fries where amazing!! Everything was done in just under 10 minutes, and the food was hot and fresh!!! I would definitely come back again!!!“
