“Fresh made tacos. Super goood!! Know that they only take cash. Havent eat all day from work and the food is very fulfilling and melts in my mouth. I order the 3 tacos with the sauce (Idk what the name is)but yum and i also order quesadillas. Recommend. Maybe a bit pricey but it was good. Spend about $40 with drinks.“

“I tried Que Taco for the first time..the location in New Hope off of Bass Lake Road. The handmade tortillas are excellent and the Pozole as one of the best I have had...very authentic. It was so good we went back the next day to try the chilaquiles and machete. All very good!“

“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“We were visiting from St Louis & stopped in one afternoon for a drink & guacamole. The guac is homemade; SO delicious & with homemade chips! We decided to return the next day for lunch. This time we had the tacos. Again, plentiful meat with the most delicious tasteful toppings. We were fortunate to have the same waiter, Tony. He’s definitely an asset to the restaurant. Very attentive & personable. Highly recommend this gem in St Paul!!“

Chris our server was wonderful. The Victoria beer and my mango margarita were perfect. My only critique if at all of the restaurant is for the pasta dishes to have a hair less salt (and I like my food on the saltier side so that says a lot). We can’t believe we waited this long to try it but we can’t wait to go back“

“Had lunch and our table tried multiple food options. One of the crowd favorites was chips and queso (with salsa). One of the best queso’s and salsas I’ve had. I had the walleye tacos (both blackened and breaded - prefer blackened).“

I live for Mexican food and honestly this food was really top of the list. Everyone at the table indicated that the food was the best tasting they have had for a Mexican fare. Not just saying this. “Highly recommend this hidden gem for a great deal on the BEST tacos al pastor in Minneapolis. Nachos al pastor is a particularly generous portion (I had already eaten half of it in the photo) and perfect to share. Chips are made fresh in house. Sit and enjoy your meal at the counter, then get back to your day. It's worth the trip.“

“I enjoyed Masa & Agave, located downstairs in the Hotel Ivy, where I almost lived in a condo above the hotel. It’s in an area of downtown that can get desolate after the workday, which is why I chose not to live there. However, after an event at Orchestra Hall, Masa & Agave was perfect. Gorgeously appointed, Masa comes across as classy, with prices to match. This is not your rowdy taco joint. Service was good, if a bit casual for such an elegant place. My short rib tacos were delicious, juicy, and flavorful. I enjoyed them. Cocktails were okay, but they lacked any originality. That was what I felt overall at Masa. The restaurant lacked an identity and came across as very corporate. If I were within a block and a half, I would return to Masa & Agave, but it wouldn’t be a destination restaurant for me.“

“I truly think this is the best Mexican food in Anoka County! Both locations! Ham Lake location is inside of the BP gas station right off of Constance and 65, you can eat inside or get takeout. They have their own app which makes online ordering a breeze! I feel like this is the best hidden food gem around, I’m assuming people either don’t realize it’s there or are turned off because it’s located inside of a BP. But it’s actually an adorable set up inside the BP and not weird at all :) I give this place 5/5 stars! 🌯🌮💕“

Their guac and refried beans are milk and lard free. 🌿 Generous bag of fresh crunchy tortilla chips as a side. Excellent and friendly service! I had no idea this place existed until today and it did not disappoint! Large Mexican beer and tequila selection at the bar. They also have a salsa bar full of fresh salsa. Go and eat at The Taco Shop Street Tacos! You will not be disappointed. Better than Lagos and Chipotle! I now know where I'm getting gift cards for peeps from 😋.“

“Love this place! I always have a shredded beef dish of some sort. I know it's homemade as a couple of times I have found a bay leaf inside my burrito or taco. Good thing I always add a bit of salsa to my stuff and check. I love sitting at the bar and trying the 3 different salsas that are available as a help yourself buffet style along with delicious chips. Love the margaritas but now I am spoiled, I tried one with Milagro silver tequila on the rocks. It is excellent! The Columbia Heights locale is my favorite, and I have tried each of the others! I have yet to try the patio in the summertime, so I can't tell you about it. The stained glass windows are amazing! Busy bustling place! I love it! And the staff is excellent! If I want to change an option on the menu, the staff is very accommodating. I would give this place 5 stars! I always take family and friends to La Casita Mexican Restaurant - Columbia Heights, MN when they come to visit!“
