“Fresh made tacos. Super goood!! Know that they only take cash. Havent eat all day from work and the food is very fulfilling and melts in my mouth. I order the 3 tacos with the sauce (Idk what the name is)but yum and i also order quesadillas. Recommend. Maybe a bit pricey but it was good. Spend about $40 with drinks.“

“This place is amazing! We’ve been to their other store in Eagan Located inside a BP-Amoco Gas Station. Both are absolutely some of the best Mexican food we have ever had. This south-Mpls location has a full bar-Bonus!.“

“We come here every visit to Minnesota! The salsa and sesame chicken tacos are our favorite, but we love the firecracker shrimp & guava pork tacos too!! We tried the fried avocado taco and loved that this time too, and the steak taco is always great! Service is quick and portions are super filling. Can't wait to come back !“

“I’ve traveled all across this city and it’s hard to find good steak tacos but They have the best tacos I’ve tasted in Minneapolis so far. I wish they had pico de guillo but the steak tacos & salsa verde is bomb even without it. The tacos are always fresh and they put a good amount of meat inside. They should do more locations they are so good.“

“Delicious, fresh ingredients!! Glad I'm close to this place it is SO good! They were very accommodating to making my veggie burrito bowl vegan. Their guac and refried beans are milk and lard free. 🌿 Generous bag of fresh crunchy tortilla chips as a side. Excellent and friendly service! I had no idea this place existed until today and it did not disappoint! Large Mexican beer and tequila selection at the bar. They also have a salsa bar full of fresh salsa. Go and eat at The Taco Shop Street Tacos! You will not be disappointed. Better than Lagos and Chipotle! I now know where I'm getting gift cards for peeps from 😋.“

“I truly think this is the best Mexican food in Anoka County! Both locations! Ham Lake location is inside of the BP gas station right off of Constance and 65, you can eat inside or get takeout. They have their own app which makes online ordering a breeze! I feel like this is the best hidden food gem around, I’m assuming people either don’t realize it’s there or are turned off because it’s located inside of a BP. But it’s actually an adorable set up inside the BP and not weird at all :) I give this place 5/5 stars! 🌯🌮💕“

“The birria ramen is in a class by itself. I dined at the Uptown location and the food was excellent and the service was great. Even with a language barrier we worked it out! Good service is at an all-time low so it was refreshing to be treated w such kindness and consideration. Thanks and we'll be back!“

“I had the chicken birria fries and chicken birria taco. Omg that taco stole the show hands down, the best birria taco I’ve ever had. I also loved the birria fries with the Ka’Ris corn (get the corn! It’s amazing and I hate elotes in a cup). But I cannot say enough about the birria taco, just try it! This is now my new favorite taco spot.“

“At first I thought the burgers were fine here—but then I went back and got the Jr. and this place is actually really good and I think really all the food is solid here. I also got the soy curls — pictured below— it tastes just like meat—very solid veggie option. I couldn’t believe it was soy. Check em out.“

“I really look forward to the medium hot salsa, that I choose on the order. Second time I’ve picked up a take out that is stapled shut, get home, and no salsa, :(. Be sure to check! Love the tacos, corn tortillas are flavorful, staff is nice.“
