I didn't visit the location myself but I've heard Manny himself is extremely nice and helpful. He also makes an incredible Torta that I would go back to consistently to eat.
I was told to visit here by a local and it did not disappoint. I will admit that I have pretty high expectations for tortas as I grew up near Little Village (Chicago) and like traditional tortas. These were tasty for sure but notably were tailored to more Midwestern taste ( i.e3 Little Pigs)- which isn't necessarily a bad thing as that's how restaurants stay in business. Great, delicious Mexican food for a reasonable price. I tried the chorizo molletes, which is 2 half open sandwiches. It's not my favorite sandwich, but it's still pretty good. I recommend you give this a try if you like Chorizo. For the drink, I tried tamarindo which was refreshing and sweet.
