Le Burger is the creation of Jonathan Gans and Josh Hoyt, both of whom have experience working at the renowned restaurant Bachelor Farmer. The restaurant aims to blend American burger culture with a Parisian flair, offering a distinctive dining experience that stands out in the Minneapolis food scene. The new restaurant is what would happen “if a couple American guys went to Paris and opened a burger place,” Gans told the Star Tribune this summer.

Russell’s restaurant, owned by local Todd Russell, brings fresh energy to Saint Paul’s Grand Avenue. Inspired by his travels, Todd has created a comfortable neighborhood spot - a classic dining with modern flavors. The menu features steaks, salads, sandwiches, and daily specials, complemented by art from the Russell family collection. The restaurant also offers a space for private events. Enjoy a cocktail at the bar, watch the game, or spend time with friends in a welcoming atmosphere. When the opportunity arose to buy the building housing the iconic Tavern On Grand, and he learned its owners planned to close, Todd quickly decided, “Hey, I can open a restaurant” — making his vision a reality on the same historic street he grew up on.

Vitality Roasting is a coffee shop located at 1500 Como Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. This establishment has recently opened in the space formerly occupied by Black Coffee and Waffle Bar, which had been a staple in the community for 24 years before closing. The café emphasizes specialty coffees and strives to make them accessible to wide audience.

    The location aims to serve as a sober space for the community, filling a gap left by its predecessor.
