“Had an amazing experience for my fist time here! I had the gnocci with cauliflower and orange, sooo good! They also have a local brewery (thats just down the street) on tap. My bartender Tim was very knowledgeable and had a great personality! The place was pretty busy when I went, but I still enjoyed the atmosphere! Overall, great experience!”

“Hands down one of my favorite new restaurants of 2024 so far. Service was amazing (they clear your plates and utensils between every course), and every dish my group ordered was amazing. I was a huge fan of the pork chop, smoked eel, and I still dream of the octopus bolognese. It is a bit of a pricier spot, but totally worth it (I'm already thinking about when I'd come back for the bolognese). It's a little small inside since it took over the old Revival on Nicollet, but I love the moody vibes.”
“Love that it’s veggie forward - broccolini, mushrooms, others have us coming back for more! But that pub styler burger with dijon mayo is to die for and such a nice treat. The cake is delicious and outdoor patio in the summer is very niceDietary restrictions: Accommodating”
“First time visitors. We will go back. We will likely share an entree next time. We just can’t eat like we used too. Great food, wonderful staff. Great neighboring tables.”
“Great experience and even better food. The manomin latte was a treat as was the bison with wojapi. Loved the wild rice pudding the most but everything we ordered was incredible. Service was spot on as well. Great place!”

“Inspired cooking. My wife and I experienced a moment of utter sadness as we finished the last bite of the Tamale knowing there wasn’t more to eat. Needless to say - so delicious and wonderful service from Katelyn”

“Service was really kind and the people were really kind + personable. Food was delicious!! We got the citrus salad which was bursting with flavor but not overly tart. For the main dish we got the Calabrian which was perfectly spicy yet sweet from the lemon and fresh and the mentally lumache which was such a fun, nutty twist to a pesto. Would order everything again and will definitely be going back to try more.P.S music was also 10/10”

“great atmosphere for watching sports, great mix of music and awesome staff! we had Sasha as our server and she was very attentive, helpful, and so welcoming! We were looking for somewhere to watch the first half of Sunday football while eating time to go to the airport and this was the perfect spot!”

“One of our favorite places in Minneapolis -- Everything is always delicious, their wine knowledge is top notch, and the space has a great vibe. Highly recommended!”
“I initially visited this place when it first opened, and my experience wasn't impressive enough to make me return. However, with the positive reviews accumulating over the years, I decided to give it another try. I'm pleased to say that this time around, I was very satisfied. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the wait staff was attentive. Although the dining room was loud during our visit at a peak time, I won't let that deter me from returning. I'll simply choose a different time for my next visit.”
“We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building”
“Incredible. Dynamic metro scene with a supper club attitude. Excellent food, top notch service. Don’t leave without trying a bite of the creme brûlée donut!”
“We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.”
“I love this place. As far as I know there isn't a better breakfast at this price point anywhere in the city. Certainly not downtown. My Saturday morning ritual over the past 6-7 months has been to get two Cryin Eggys, eat one immediately and eat the second for dinner. They reheat surprisingly well (10 minutes in the oven at 350, then a 20-second blast in the microwave).”
“Great experience and even better food. The manomin latte was a treat as was the bison with wojapi. Loved the wild rice pudding the most but everything we ordered was incredible. Service was spot on as well. Great place!”
“I didn’t know how good Vegan food tasted until eating at Heal Mpls. The ambience is very comforting and peaceful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Good Vibes!!!”

“I live in the neighborhood and have come for trivia a few times now. The tacos and nachos are delicious. I went specifically to try the Serrano Dona Fria Mexican Lager and was NOT disappointed. They also sell “You Betcha!” thc chocolate and their own thc seltzers. Excited to have them in our neighborhood and will be back for the Serrano!”
“I recently moved here from Arizona and George and the Dragon has become my families go to restaurant. The food is amazing and the price is very affordable. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I highly recommend you give this place a try if you haven’t yet!”

“Everything we’ve had from Nixta is just so good. More than once we’ve said “this is the best ______ I’ve ever had” about various menu items. Cant recommend enough.”

“We truly enjoy our meal. Had the masa and salads, tempura shrimp tacos, sweet potatoes and tlayuda. They are were delicious. My drink (T&T) was fresh and complemented the meal perfectly. Service was very good.”
“Really good fish and chips. I love cod it’s one of my favorites. And the tartar sauce is amazing, the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had and I’m not even a tartar sauce person… don’t pass up the tartar sauce! The coleslaw was really good too! I’m picky about my coleslaw and this one is a winner.”

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! That meal was better than we could have ever expected!”
“The restaurant is very beautiful. The space is fairly large and there are different coves for seating. There's also a decent size bar area. The restaurant is also very aesthetically pleasing. Our server was great and explained everything to us. He was also very knowledgeable about the food choices. I would say the food was just okay. Nothing really to rave about. I don't think there was a single thing we had that I could say was phenomenal. The portion sizes are small, but it's definitely good for a tapas style meal if you get enough. I would give this place a four out of five stars more so because of the great service.”
“I'm so glad I found this establishment due to Restaurant Week - We already can't wait to return! We loved our food - the flavors were amazing! Staff was so friendly! Service was top notch! The birria was sooo tasty - and we loved the Mocktails! Best churros in town!”
“Chole by Vincent fills a gaping void in the Twin Cities restaurant scene — French Traditional dishes, done to perfection, without feeling a need to have a “unique twist” or “fusion” element. Don’t get me wrong, those other kinds of restaurants can be good. But, when you want comfort food in an amazing environment, look no further than Chole. Our group had the French Onion soup and the daily special mushroom soup appetizers. Both of which were excellent. For mains, we had steak frites, cassoulet, the scallops, and a Vincent burger. Again, all excellent. Try it – you won’t regret it!”
“Heather's in Minneapolis is a favorite. It's that neighborhood joint everyone wants with great burgers, sandwiches, and salads, a great kids menu and twisty soft serve or cookies to keep the wee beings happy. But also that cozy date night spot with amazing daily specials and lovely grown up desserts on the patio. In practice, we usually order delivery (via Toast) and there's always a little tension between a dinner order (because THOSE SPECIALS!) or weekend brunch. We were able to do both today because they offered their daily special as part of their holiday brunch menu: lemon blueberry pancakes AND the ham special with asparagus and cheesy potatoes were both just amazing. ?Ordered pastries for week day breakfasts while I was at it but the delivery person missed the second bag or something. They made it right immediately - barely hung up the phone before the doorbell rang and a smiling, kind Heather's staffer was on my porch with a bag full of goodies. They just do EVERYTHING right.”
“I’ve been here several times but not in a couple years. Just returned for brunch and it was spectacular as usual. Jeremy was super nice and knowledgeable and we sat close to the kitchen so it was cool to see them do their thing. Bravo again Martina team, you guys never fail to impress! ?”
“We had the cheese pizza and it was very good. The only thing I found disconcerting, and in particular post or mid Covid depending on how you look at it, was that the servers were picking up dirty dishes, handling the mouth area of the glasses, forks, napkins and then serving food. With the automatic 20% tip they charge I would think they could have a dedicated dirty dish person and serving person separately.”

They also sell “You Betcha!” thc chocolate and their own thc seltzers. Excited to have them in our neighborhood and will be back for the Serrano!”
“Extremely friendly atmosphere and staff. Our server, Jackson, has the best personality. Being our first visit, he explained the ingredients and recommended to try different sauces which were great. We asked to speak with his manager and Danny was just as kind. It’s nice to see a manager supporting his team with pride.”
“Amazing meal. Lucked out with a seat at the bar without a reservation shortly after opening for the day. Impeccable service from Owen at the bar. The prawns were an explosion of flavor, the Korean sweet potatoes were ethereal, and the Amalfi Coast pizza was utter perfection. The accolades here are well deserved.”
“I got the 60/40 burger rare and chicken tenders with a hot dry rub, and it was cooked to my liking. I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.”
“My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!”

“Whoa, all those suggestions are weird. IE has been our favorite place since they opened. The service is always good, the food is always good. It’s a little bit upscale but we regularly bike there so I never particularly care what I wear. Cocktails are good. Amari is really good.”

“Dined in on 3/25 and was greeted by Thunder who was very pleasant and inviting! He talked me through some great menu items and mock tails! I very much his service and the atmosphere provided by the Nicollet Diner! 10/10 will definitely be coming back!”
“These cookies were the best, most memorable gift I’ve ever given a client. They’re great for any occasion but I can’t recommend a better gift for a client or prospect for anyone in a sales/relationship business.”
“It’s was really nice, I stoped to go almost 4 months ago because they use to have a lot of homeless people disturbing and smoking, and the don’t have that’s any more and everything was really cleanBtw the crew it’s really ”
“I went through the drive-thru as usual. I ordered ahead of time so I don't have to wait. I don't know about the inside, but service is usually okay. I never get a hello or goodbye, though, but the food is always pretty good. I never give fast food five stars. They have awesome frosties, and I love their strawberry lemonade . If you get the app, you can get some pretty good deals. I got a $5 sandwich for a dollarParking: 1 way in & 1 way out entrance plus the drive-through entrance. I'm not sure maybe 6-10 parking spots.”
“Fastest Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. I had issues with the app, it took about 15 min to figure out. That line backed up about 7 or 8 cars deep about 3 or 4 times. But they cleared it out fast. If it was anywhere else there would be pissed off customers a few city blocks long. They got my confusing order right too.”
“The wait time was crazy, but I understand that it is due to them being short-staffed. Nonetheless, the food was hot and the server still had a smile on her face. Nothing bad to say about the place.”
“A very good experience with the employees, all very friendly and especially a girl named Adriana, very smiling... It's good that they serve you with that attitudeKid-friendliness: They have a place for children to play... I loved it”
“I was there this evening and my food had been sitting for sometime and I had been waiting longer than 12 minutes so one of the employees asked what my mobile order # was and remade my order and handed it to me. I thanked him greatly and was truly impressed with his can do attitude and work ethic to make it right for the client even though I had not asked for it. I am truly appreciative of the whole process and like at White Castle, specifically that location differently.”
“Get your D here for as little as $1 (those any size fries are calling). I like to wrap my mouth around a Big Mac and my Any Size Fry (in the large variety). Slurp some Iced Caramel Macchiatto for a mouth-watering time. Check back in later that day for some McChicken and McNuggets (some McLovin' for you, but not that kind). So overall, a 4/5 experience.”
“Woke up grumpy, went to get my son a burrito as he requested… Paul from the Hiawatha location was such a pleasant surprise! He was so cheerful, he instantly started my day off in the right way! Food was hot and fresh- definitely will be going there more mornings now- most people are just not polite, nice anymore- so to have such an amazing interaction the first thing in the morning was just what I needed! Paul deserves a raise! 10 out of 10! I’ll be back!Kid-friendliness: He even gave my son a Burger King hat! So cute!”
“Eating McDonald's for lunch can be a convenient and affordable option. The menu offers a variety of choices, from burgers to salads. However, it is important to note that McDonald's food is often high in calories, unhealthy fats, and sodium. Regular consumption may contribute to weight gain and health issues. Additionally, the fast-food chain has faced criticism for its sourcing practices and environmental impact. It is advisable to consume McDonald's in moderation and opt for healthier options when available.”

“AMAZING SERVICE, WONDERFUL atmosphere, well priced, FANTASTIC FLAVORS, serving portions as expected for tapas. Two of us ordered about 8 dishes and shared gor dinner, we were stuffed - could have had only 6 but wanted to try so many bcuz they were so tempting by descriptions, and they met all expectations!! They accommodated our dietary restrictions without hassle. If we lived here, we'd be regulars!!”

Takeout Restaurants
“We eat a lot of South Asian food, and Spice & Tonic has some of the best we’ve had in the Twin Cities area! The tandoori chicken was delicious and exceptionally moist, while the chicken curry was flavorful. Plus, the prices were reasonable. Inside, the decor was lovely and the staff friendly and fast. We highly recommend it!”
“I ordered a king cake to take in to work- without a doubt the best one I’ve had, it melts in your mouth! The staff was exceptionally friendly and offered an extra cup of frosting. Great environment if you’re just looking for a place in Minneapolis to sit down with a cup of coffee and a treat too!”
“The one that only locally grown locally raised locally licked clean bowls . Every time a new flavor up on the board I have not had a bad one I've had over half of these choices I just had the cherry and vanilla phenomenal. I got a pint of grapefruit sorbet holy moly.”
“I feel so blessed to have this gem of a coffee shop in my neighborhood! The Pork Cutie is one of my favorite sandwiches on earth, I'm deadly serious. They're always playing great music, the staff is friendly, and every detail is intentional and unique - what more could you ask for?”
“Amazing breakfast!! We love trying small diners (ordering our staple breakfasts for fair comparison) whenever we travel & Al’s didn’t disappoint! The hash browns are phenomenal & remind me of potatoes my grandma used to make. The staff is friendly & the atmosphere is perfect.”
“Friendly, fun staff. Food was made with care and was delicious. Great value for the money and a fun place to be. Wonderful American diner experience.Parking: Free lot with more spaces than the diner can seat. Also street parking for free”
“My favorite eating place on the entire planet. If I could eat only one thing for the rest of my life, it would be their cabbage rolls. I usually have one for my main course and then one for dessert. Everything is fantastic. Kidding on the dessert thing. :)”
“I can't say enough about how amazing Francis is! Outstanding food and drinks! They have the BEST Spicy Margarita that I have EVER had! Their drink menu has so many cool and unique cocktails that are different from any I have had before. Then there is the food...I literally think about the Chicken Sandwich daily. My daughter went 3 times the first week they were open, and continues to go weekly! There isn't an item in the menu that I've tried that is anything less than AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend everyone tries it! You definitely do NOT need to be a vegan to love this food. Trust me, TRY IT! You'll love it and will ABSOLUTELY be back for more!Vegetarian options: The entire menu, including drinks, is vegan. No meat or dairy products, so perfectly suitable for vegetarians!”
“Loved it! Tiny space but great food. I had the chicken wrap and vegan Mac n cheese —- sooo good! Hubby got a fried chicken bucket w ranch and a pumpkin pie smoothie that was also amazing.”
“First off, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The value is great. With that said, the wait staff was very pushy; if the chef left this place wouldn’t be worth a thing.”
“I recently moved here from Arizona and George and the Dragon has become my families go to restaurant. The food is amazing and the price is very affordable. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I highly recommend you give this place a try if you haven’t yet!”
“This will become a "MUST GO TO" anytime I'm in Minneapolis. I just loved Lutunji instantly, her service, coffee and food was superior and you felt instantly like family.”

“The food was great overall. However, my own dish of lobster gnocchi could have used less of the salt. It's better salty than bland, though. However, the service from the young waiter with long hair was outstanding. We'll be back when my daughters can treat me to another lovely dinner.”
“I've visited Curry Corner five times, and each experience has been consistently excellent. The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere, ideal for dining out. The variety and quality of the dishes stand out, each one delivering authentic and delicious Indian flavors.Service at Curry Corner is always efficient and friendly, making each visit smooth and enjoyable. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, providing good value for the quality of food served.Overall, Curry Corner is a reliable choice for anyone in search of authentic Indian cuisine with great service. Highly recommend for a satisfying dining experience!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. You can make nearly unlimited choices in Chinese veggies & meats.”
“The beer is very good, and it's one of my favorite tap room venues in the city. It's in an old factory (plane wing manufacturing?) with the cranes still in the rafters. Fantastic semi-covered outdoor space, cornhole/bean-bag toss, several tables, and an overpriced food truck.Update several years later: still one of the best atmospheres in the metro. Family and dog friendly. Open air, huge patio, great food trucks.”
“Everyone was friendly from the moment we walked in. Our waitress, Taylor, was attentive, and had great recommendations. The food was delicious, as were the drinks! We will absolutely be back.”
“Love our neighborhood walk up Dairy Queen! Great place to sit outside with the kids and have a treat. The owner is very friendly and remembers us. I have never had a bad experience here.Lots of construction on Lake Street this summer (2023), but it's open for business and always delicious.”
“northeast Palace is a hidden gem in Northeast Minneapolis. Every night there's a different venue of music and the food is great. Don't turn down a chance to have a wonderful evening and a great experience!”
“Walk up DQ! There's nothing better on a warm evening. NGL, I get DQ when it's cold out too. This location has all the charm of an old school neighborhood DQ and a hard working crew of young people. The customers reflect the neighborhood. Diverse and friendly. They have a parking lot.”
“Hannah did an absolutely wonderful job today (Feb. 13th, 2024) taking my order and preparing my beverage. She was extremely, kind, helpful and professional. Your team absolutely needs more employees like her! That being said, the store was clearly understaffed. I got the feeling Hannah was a little flustered (by no fault of her own).Usually, there are at least two employees working the shop. However, today there was only one. It's rather unfair to dump all the tasks on one individual AND have them provide such exemplary customer service. Please strongly consider hiring more staff to help employees like Hannah!”
“Awesome brewery with lots and lots of good beer to try. They also have wood fire pizzas upstairs which are also incredible. Anyone should make a stop if you're in the area.”
“They serve one of the most satisfying coffees I have tried. I was there every single day for a whole week while I was visiting Minneapolis. I tried different coffees on their menu and they were all good. And the best part is that they are not charging ridiculously high prices for mediocre coffee like most coffee shops do. You can tell the freshness of coffee beans. I wish they were in the mid west too.”
“There are many many many coffee houses in Minneapolis. I come here solely because of the great staff. Friendly and hard working. It’s important for the staff to engage with customers. It keeps them coming back. I am usually there in the morning and am helped by Adam, Emily , Drew and Cassie. The staff is why I frequent this DB. I hope the owner appreciates their hard work”
“Good place my step daughter is having trouble with speaking shes has a lisps when she speaks and so am trying to teach her its ok to take a second and gather her self so she can speak as best she can and to feel comfortable speaking in public and the casher working that day was awesome at understanding her and most of all having patient some times that's all it takes is a lil patienceKid-friendliness: Great servers working hard, being very professional an awesome”
“This place is the most beautiful Caribou I have ever seen with an amazing view of Lake Superior!? I remember back in December I had fallen while opening the door and one of the workers (very athletic and sweet!) jumped the counter and swept me off of the floor. The other workers came to my aid. After this amazing act they gave me a free drink! The other costumers cheered and yip-yip-hoorayed in excitement and I tipped a whopping 20 bucks! I have many nice experiences here like the time someone had an accident and a worker cleaned it up with no complaints. Highly recommended!?”
“I see we have some people complaining about prices but it’s not the businesses fault. The economy is bad and they can’t really control it. Back to the review! The place is very nice, neat and the location is convenient. As always they are fast with making your coffee.”
“Excellent customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️?!! 10/10, especially the girl with the glasses. Although there was a rude customer yelling at her for no reason…some people have no manners ?”
“Been getting delivery from here for about a year or so and I am rarely disappointed (I’ve never gotten BAD food, just sometimes it doesn’t slap AS HARD as others but it’s always good) . The General Tso chicken is always delicious, and the orange chicken has a good balance of spicy and sweet. Hot and sour soup is DELICIOUS, so is their cheese rangoons and donuts. They always deliver to me lightning fast with PIPING hot food. Literally the only Chinese place we order from and the prices are crazy low. I can’t believe how much food we get for such low amounts.”

“Beautiful space; the food was wonderful and love the creative twists to traditional Mediterranean dishes. The staff are attentive and even got to meet and celebrate their Chef de Cuisine, Thony Yang. It was an honor to celebrate a talented young chef. Thank you so much for being in our neighborhood!”
“We’ve been going to Murray’s for 20+ years and it’s always delightful. Staff are attentive and helpful. The steaks and sides are delicious. Chateaubriand is amazing.”
“Absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and merideth was knowledgeable and had such a great personality. The food…absolutely incredible!”
“Excellent meal last visit; have been many times but not in the last few years. However, the hash browns were disappointing, they were "cheesy" hashbrowns, ick. They used to be good before. Otherwise, fantastic.”
“Manny's Steakhouse is an absolute gem for steak lovers. The moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The service is impeccable, with knowledgeable staff who are eager to help you navigate the menu and make recommendations. The star of the show, of course, is the steak. Each cut is expertly prepared and cooked to perfection, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth experience that's second to none. The sides are equally impressive, with a variety of options that perfectly complement the main course. In addition to the amazing food, Manny's also boasts an extensive wine list and a selection of cocktails that are sure to please any palate. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a great meal, Manny's Steakhouse is the place to go.”
“This is a unique and fantastic dining experience that, for the right group or person, will provide a meal/night out you won't forget. There's just too much here to cover in one review, but if you love Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine, are open to a curated food adventure from a talented chef and incredibly hospitable host, and want to enjoy the warmth of a good meal in a comfortable home setting with the ease and pacing of a few hours to relish and delight in, then you're a great fit for this evening.Vegetarian options: Outside of the main course you'll find the other courses mostly vegetarian, and the host seems open to accommodating dietary restrictions or requests.Dietary restrictions: The host was very open to understanding people's dietary restrictions or allergies, but considering this is a set menu, you'll need to do your part and be upfront ahead of time.”
“It is a wonderful adventure. It is a tasting menu so you just sit down and they bring you little bites of great food. The staff is wonderful. It is a great evening with family or friends. Highly recommend this restaurant in Minneapolis.”
“The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is out of this world, and the service was nothing short of extraordinary. Justin, our server, was a delight! He helped make for a wonderful and full evening!”
“This place is truly the only food spot in Minneapolis I crave regularly. I only took 1 star away because 100% of the time I've sat in, they forget my bakery item and then are sold out and can't offer me anything. However, the sesame croissant is to die for so I always take my chances or at least order at the register.”
“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and presented authentic Japanese tastes and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed her table setting was set up to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kado No Mise provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.”
“Service was top tier, the setting was so romantic. The waitress went above and beyond. They all celebrated me with a complimentary drink and dessert. I was spoiled! And I’ll be back to dine again! The staff, the chef, thank you! Thank you so much, and you all deserved that nice tip and much more!”
“It is hard to put into words the amazing experience that we had here at Kaiseki Furukawa in Minneapolis. This was the single best meal we have ever had in our lives. It was an honor to dine with Shigeyuki Furukawa and his team. Our minds were blown by the quality of ingredients and the thought and care that went into the design of each item on the 10+ course menu. We also had a sake pairing that added another element throughout. This restaurant is truly a world class gem and we are lucky to have it here here in Twin Cities.”
“Located on second level (skyway). They recently reopened after the pandemic without Caribou Coffee. I have enjoyed the bagels, lemonade, and fast service. Download their app for free coffee or bagel with purchase.”
“Everything was great except they gave me the wrong cupcake with my order and I didn't know u til I got home because they were packaged up. Other than that, everything was good.”

AMA Sushi
“First off, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The value is great. With that said, the wait staff was very pushy; if the chef left this place wouldn’t be worth a thing.”
“It was a pleasant surprise visiting this place because I definitely did not know about it at all prior to trying the food, but it was a wonderful balance of price, quantity, and flavor, to the point that it made my dining experience worth it! Kataki is nowhere close to an upscale or fine dining place but I felt like I paid for what the food was worth, and possibly even more! The highlights are definitely the sushi! My partner and I only got the yellowtail and the salmon roe sushi but they both tasted very flavorful, and the koshihikari rice was tasty as well. I could tell that the sushi was a specialty in this establishment. The price was very reasonable as well, with $7 for the yellowtail sushi and $11.5 for the salmon roe sushi. The Kataki rolls were great as well, even if I knew that the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy yellowtail combination wasn't uncommon. Someone it tasted fuller and more flavorful than similar items I have had elsewhere. The tonkotsu ramen was solid as well, and I was given a good amount of pork with good texture that tasted slightly different from what I was used to. The broth was only okay, but I know it's hard to achieve perfection for such in a restaurant so I was okay with it. For $14.50, it was worth it!The appetizers such as shumai, softshell crab tempura, age tofu, and takoyaki were also solid, and once again, for $7.5 each ($8.95 for the softshell crab) it was worth it, but they were not as good as the sushi in terms of economical value. The octopus meat in the takoyaki was hard. The age tofu relied on the sauce for flavor completely. And the shumai was a bit soggy. Regardless, they were all solid enough!Once again, I did not expect myself to give a 5 rating to a Japanese food place that wasn't the most well-known for its authenticity or fanciness, but the food was tasty and it made me "feel good" here! There are many establishments like this one, but somehow the food here has had more flavor in comparison.”
Enjoy!”

“As a caribbean person now living in the Twin Cities this is an authentic taste of home. Everything from Chana Kitchen is good, but the Roti and Doubles transport me back to the islands. They are also a great catering partner, I hired them for my event and it was seemless, everyone was raving about the food!”
“I absolutely love Pura Lima. I was such a Chipotle girl (though, a frustrated one) until I found it, and will never go back! The ingredients at Pura Lima taste so much better and fresher than anywhere else. The staff are kind, efficient, accurate, etc. It is by far my favorite place for lunch! I've wanted to try dinner and their margs, but haven't had the chance - I had their mango limeade though, and it was amazing; Limey with a super fresh/real mango flavor. 10/10 recommend”
“The Cocktails were delicious, creative, fabulous! The bartenders were very friendly and answered every question we could ask. The decor was so classy. We can't wait to go back.”
“The food was amazing! We had the vegetarian plate and wine. The food was totally authentic, and the service was personable and homey. Authentic music and video enhance the experience. I will be back!”
“Amazing carrot cake cupcakes! No nuts or raisins (this place is fantastic for folks with a nut allergy!) I love that the cupcakes are the traditional size and not those super-sized ones. Snoopy bars are soooo good! So many wonderful things to try--I'll be back!”
“A must visit in the north loop! Great beer! Amazing people! The perfect place to visit before a twins game or any day really… Cory, thank you for the hospitality. I look forward to coming back soon!”
“This is by far one of my favorite places to eat! Food is amazing and they remember you! Today I walked in after being away for six months due to Covid and even with my mask on, they said hi to me by name. Wow!”
“Great little find. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and alcohol they are serving. They even have a selection of spirit free drinks that taste amazing! As a person who does not drink, it is great to find a place that actually makes true cocktails without spirits. Will be back.”
“Went in today and I forgot to catch his name, but the gentleman was delightful. Friendly and extremely pleasant. Wonderful customer service. The ice cream was delicious too! Will be back.”
“Stopped in to Cosmic Coffee the other morning on a whim, and believe I just may have found my new favorite coffee shop in NE. Cosmic Coffee feels like an old school coffee shop, the ones that were about people connecting with people. Actual real live PEOPLE!!! Not only was the coffee delicious- expertly prepared by Dusty-but it was so refreshing to be around people laughing, conversing and connecting not just working away on laptops. If you want a great cup of coffee in a cozy, warm space of brick, wood and eclectic decor that does not feel like a sterile white hipster tech haven, please please give Cosmic a visit! And I recommend a lavender mocha!!”
“Months later and I cannot stop thinking about this place! I had tonkotsu. Broth was the stand out for me. Everything else had there place though. It's worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. 10/10 do recommend.”
“Great vibe, great place, great croissants!!Kid-friendliness: The cafe is almost always full, but pretty kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: The cafe doesn't have enough area inside to move around on a wheelchair, but its accessible”
“I was in Minneapolis for a show and wanted sushi. So glad I found this place!! The restaurant is beautiful inside and has a very nice outdoor patio with lots of umbrellas for shade. The food was fantastic!! I had sushi and got a tuna poke bowl to go. I’ll definitely be back for the Tibetan Momo!! If you haven’t been to Momo Sushi you need to check it out!!”
“Hole in the wall coffee shop with exceptional flavor. The staff were so friendly and conversational! Exactly what your looking for when trying to find good small business coffee.”
“I'm a fierce and loyal Mexican foodie. I'll drive or walk thousands of miles for an excellent taco, burrito, etc. ENTER el taco riendo. Recommended by one of the workers at a thrift store daughter and I shopped at. Off we go! Wow! First, it's literally a hole in the wall and man, I'm feeling lucky! Always, always the best places! We order and of course, over order. The guacamole is chunky with tomatoes, garlic and cilantro-the avocado flavor is perfectly balanced! Smooth taste with the obvious homemade chips! SWOON! My tostado is Mexican style with onions, cilantro and Carne. The meat is uber tender and falls apart in my mouth as it melds with the corn tortilla and other ingredients. The taco? ☺️ WOW. the best one I had was at a beach shack on cozumel. This is 2nd. Again, Mexican style. The onions don't overpower the rest and never leaves a hot taste. THE SALSA? 2 kinds. The red one is a soft burn (like LA Estrella) but stays foe your next bite. The green is mild and feel your tongue do a happy dance! My Modelo Especial was icy cold-PERFECT! Daughters tamale was soft, doughy and so flavorful with the chicken it was insane (at least she shared unlike hubby). This place may look shabby but it's very clean. The service is quick and food is inexpensive. We ordered a boatload of food and it was a total of 30.00!!!! If you're a Mexican food snob, this place will NOT disappoint!”

112 Eatery
“The food was great overall. However, my own dish of lobster gnocchi could have used less of the salt. It's better salty than bland, though. However, the service from the young waiter with long hair was outstanding. We'll be back when my daughters can treat me to another lovely dinner.”
“Wow, I have been looking for a great Indian place in the area, and I've found it! I had ordered takeout from here a few years ago and thought it was good, but Chef Latish obviously has done a lot of work to improve the scope of the menu and the flavors. As a vegetarian, I also appreciate their very large selection of options. My buddy and I ordered the aloo mattar (very good) and the malai kofta (truly outstanding!) and we can't wait to go back! Thank you for the delicious food!”
“The food was excellent. I had the chicken tikka masala and regular naan. I ordered mild for health reasons, but I think I might actually order it a little spicier next time because it was truly mild. No heat at all. And it was delicious. I just ate my leftovers and wish I had more!We had a larger group and had to flag down a server to actually order. And a few of the desserts didn't come out until we asked where they were. Service could have been better, but I will absolutely go back!”
“Dined in today for my first time and WOW ? I had the Baja Chilaquiles and a mimosa and everything was SO good! The amazing food, friendly service, and chill atmosphere will definitely have me coming back for more!”

Zelo
“Had a wonderful family dinner at Zelo last night Service great Food and wine wonderful Round table great to catch up with family members in from out of town with on a cold MN January evening”
“From the moment I reserved for a large group (8) here we were taken care of! 10/10 customer service from booking to finishing our meal. Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Very greasy cuban but Brussel sprouts were amazing and had a decent amount. The violet drink was pretty good but others at the table didn't think their drinks were strong/tasted like straight up juice.Vibe was great!”
“amazing deep dish vegan pizza with cheap drinks, what's not to love?Vegetarian options: can sub vegan cheese on pizzas, meat-free toppingsDietary restrictions: great for vegans & vegetarians”
“My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.”
“This place is great.Great food, that is fast and delicious. They have vegetarian options that have an intricate balance of flavors. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming.I had the ultimate sandwich and my wife had the loaded tots! Certainly recommend both!Check this place out for some awesome food and wonderful atmosphere.”
“came last night. AJ gave us the best service and cocktails I've ever had in this location!! And the owner was there atv11pm rolling silverware! keep it up guys. nice work!!”
“It's one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in Minneapolis. The atmosphere and service are standard brewpub. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.Food is solid, mostly standard bar food, but it's well done with the cheese curds being noteworthy. The beer is definitely the highlight, there is a wide variety of well executed styles with the big barrel aged beers being some of the best in the state.I've been several times, and I'm sure I will be back next time I'm in Minneapolis.”
“Excellent food!! I am crazy about this place. I tell everyone to try it instead of the more well-known Mexican place next door. I've tried the burritos, tacos and tostadas and every ingredient has always been super fresh. The burritos are huge and I love how they grill the outside well so the tortilla is crisp.”
“Me and my significant other arrived and we were seated in a timely manner (the bar) and had the pleasure to enjoy some extraordinary drinks and food. We had tried some of everything on the cocktail menu and were absolutely impressed with the quality and the taste of all of it. Highly recommend stopping by for some drinks. We also enjoyed the cauliflower and the chopped cheese, both of which were delicious and warranted their own visit should the craving arise. Overall an excellent experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff who cared and were attentive.”
“I love the ambiance at this place. It's great for both date nights and/or group fine dining experience. My favorite is their Salsa sampler/flight. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side but I'd say it's pretty worth it. Great service too.”

“An absolute perfect dining experience. Our server was wonderful and you could tell the food was made with care and great thought. The atmosphere made you want to stay there all evening. Couldn't recommend more.”
“Wonderful atmosphere, great staff, great food (Super Fun Pancake Bowl and Good Morning), great coffee (Blueberry Hills), and a totally awesome array of goodies to buy for later from the Markit. Frequent stop for us in the future!”

P.S. Steak
“We had a great time starting my birthday celebrations! The service was amazing - Our server Chris is professional, personalble and made sure that we were satisfied. Loved her! The manager was our impromptu photographer lol I love the ambiance- great for any occasion. We will be back. ✨✨”
“This place is a culinary gem from Chef Ann Kim, who brings her innovative touch to the world of pizza with this charming neighborhood spot. Known for its wood-fired pizzas, the space itself is bright and lively, adorned with a photo booth and a distinctive copper pizza oven named Lola, which adds to the restaurant's quirky and inviting ambiance. The menu at Pizzeria Lola offers a creative spin on traditional pizza, featuring a variety of unique toppings that cater to all tastes. From the classic Margherita to more inventive options like the Korean BBQ pizza, which includes mozzarella, scallions, arugula, sesame, and soy-chili vinaigrette, every pizza promises a delicious and memorable experience. The crust is expertly crafted—airy, slightly charred, and perfectly chewy, thanks to the high heat of the wood-fired oven.Beyond pizza, Pizzeria Lola also serves a selection of appetizers, salads, and desserts, all of which maintain high standards of quality and creativity. The soft serve ice cream, particularly the vanilla with olive oil and sea salt, is a must-try.Pizzeria Lola is not just about great pizza; it’s about a fun, engaging dining experience. The staff is friendly and passionate about their offerings, enhancing the warm atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Minneapolis, Pizzeria Lola is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy some of the best pizzas the city has to offer.”
“Held a retirement party for a coworker here. Reserved the upper balcony. We had a great experience. The food truck outside was a big hit also. Good selection of drinks to include non alcoholic.”
“Absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and merideth was knowledgeable and had such a great personality. The food…absolutely incredible!”

Young Man
“We tried Young Man today at the Japanese festival in Como Zoo. The line was long but oh my, so worth it. Sweet Moo was delicious, Hawaiian Shrimpy too. Takoyaki maybe needed couple more minutes of frying, but I got it, they were really busy that afternoon.”
54
Tosca
“The best meal I’ve had in a long time! The polenta is life changing, and unexpected! Everything was perfect, generous servings at a very reasonable price given the very high quality of the food. The desserts are also exceptional- I can’t figure out why this place doesn’t have a line out the door every night. I will be back over and over and over again”
“7thI have always loved the food at Emily's, but I love Lebanese food. For some, it's an acquired taste, and that's too bad because you're missing out. You might want to start out easy with pita bread and kibbeh.”

Revival MPLS
“Just ate here on a whim. Wife picked it from a huge list on google. They did not disappoint. Order the fried chicken. You won’t be sorry. I also had burnt ends. Prolly the best I’ve ever had. Sticky toffee pudding and banana Creme pie for dessert. This place was off the chain. Great food great atmosphere great service. Will be back soon. I’m kinda of mad at myself for not ordering another sticky toffee pudding to take with me. 200 stars. Thanks for a great meal”
“On Saturday we ordered on Uber eats and it was delicious! We had naan bread, beef curry and chicken tikki Masala with rice. My friend and l ordered everything mild because we weren't sure about how spicy it would be. It was perfect and very flavorful. l would try this place again.”
“I've been to Malcolm Yards a few times and always have been pleased with my food. There is plenty of parking that is free and paid street parking. The inside and outside areas offer plenty of seating. Inside there are several food vendors to choose from and you can order from multiple. This time I got the chipotle sweet potato and roasted nabo sueco tacos from Martes. They were between $5-6 each, so not bad of a price. These tacos were so delicious, I didn't want them to end! I was so glad I went and tried these, but you can't go wrong with the other vendors either. The empanadas at Del Sur are amazing! Overall very cool spot to hang out, but can get expensive quickly if you don't pay attention.”
“Excellent meal last visit; have been many times but not in the last few years. However, the hash browns were disappointing, they were "cheesy" hashbrowns, ick. They used to be good before. Otherwise, fantastic.”
“My wife and I went to Jasmine 26 on a whim and we could not be happier with our decision. The staff is amazing and the food was wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had so much fun creating our hot pots and enjoying all the restaurant had to offer. We brought our 3 teenage boys the following week and they all loved it as well.My wife loved the lamb. My seafood loving son really enjoyed the shrimp and scallops. I really enjoyed all the veggies and mushrooms and how they took on the flavor of the soup. We will definitely be back.”
“-small tacos, kind of loud inside but fun atmosphere, great but somewhat inaccurate service (order got messed up), and delicious cocktails!I had a delicious chipotle camarones taco and pastor taco (both quite small like smaller than a usual taco). My friends said the steak taco was not very good (not super flavorful). The Paloma was delicious and served in a cool tiki cup but a little small. The burritos were giant and good. Be careful because the hot salsa is very spicy according to my friends. Parking can be a headache (some street parking after 6pm or 3 small spots reserved for Nico’s off street). Guac was decent but very onion forward and quite expensive for a group”
62
Cardamom
“Dakota and team are amazing. We walked in from KC to visit the museum, and received such an amazing experience at the bar at Cardamom! Order the Bloody Mary or “the Dakota” espresso martini!!”
64
Prima
“Prima is one of our favorite date night spots. My husband and I always debate which is the best Italian restaurant in the Twin Cities because we have so many great ones. Prima is our favorite for: fresh seasonal food they grow at their own farm, long-standing servers who remember you each time, always seems to squeeze us in, curbside pickup.Parking: Parking lot is out back with a back entrance by Subway.”
“Maybe the best food I have ever eaten! The only thing it compares to was a small, unsigned restaurant in Roam, Italy. This adorable little old grandma made what ever looked good at the market into beautiful courses. This meal brought me back to there, 17 years ago. The flavors are so well balanced that each bite has the most amazingly perfect taste. It makes you forgot looking for all the individual flavors and simply just appreciate the perfect balance of all the flavors have combined to. Lastly, I love that it feels very much like good old fashion home cooking down to the extreme! The lasagna was something I will dream about eating again. Thank you!!!!!”
“A Twin Cities hidden gem. Unique and original libation that seeks to celebrate the region's local agriculture, specifically the world class apple and grape varietal innovations of the University of Minnesota. Carefully crafted small-batch cider and wine served in an intimate cozy setting. Not to be missed!”

Jax Cafe
“We recently had dinner for 9 on a Friday night to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and our godfather's 90th. We brought along a menu that we had from the 1960's to show staff . . . prices have changed, but not much else except the carpet, which is as it should be . . . quality is quality! As my Mom noted, we had a DINING experience; we were not just quickly and mindlessly served. Because of that, us younger-fold will be back to JAX to enjoy that experience. But for one night, the JAX staff and owners helped our parents and godfather celebrate old times and again enjoy a "night out on the town" they will not soon forget! For that, we THANK YOU, JAX Cafe!!!”
“Dined in on 3/25 and was greeted by Thunder who was very pleasant and inviting! He talked me through some great menu items and mock tails! I very much his service and the atmosphere provided by the Nicollet Diner! 10/10 will definitely be coming back!”
“We have been to Raag a few times now, but all times for dinner. The food was phenomenal. Our most recent visit was for brunch and we were surprised by the lack of flavor in some dishes. Hope it is a one-off.”
“I love that the menu is made up of both tapas-style options and full entree dishes from the Caribbean + also New Orleans- some of my favorite flavors! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful. Both the cocktails and NA drinks are fantastic, and the ambiance is a welcome addition to North Loop + the Twin Cities-- festive, fun, relaxing, good vibes.”
“Shout out to Christos Greek Restaurant and love to Gus, a truly amazing person who has kept this wonderful landmark alive and well for so many years! We have never had more delicious food anywhere! My choice was the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection, so tender it fell off the bone and didn't need a knife. Dessert for me was the mousse au chocolat (always) and having tried it at every restaurant that offers it, Christos will never be outdone. It should be mentioned that the salads are always made with what our daughter calls "happy veggies," always fresh and beautiful! the soups are all wonderfully special and "home made" as well. No one comes even close to the love and care that goes into this dining piece of heaven. Enjoying your delectable meal at Christos feels as good as a warm hug from your mom. Salut to happy tummies! :)”
“Went here for my husbands birthday. It was amazing!! Great service and great food! The bartender made some excellent cocktails and the server was superb. The host, Moses, went above and beyond!! So awesome!! Would definitely recommend!”

“Beautiful atmosphere, all servers work together. The food is so GOOD! I would not expect the flavors that come out of some of the dishes. Come on... mint leaves and Brussel sprouts!? Hit the spot.”
“When we discovered The Tasting Room we were looking for somewhere special to celebrate my Husband’s 50th birthday. We came to the Tasting Room and I contacted the owner and head chef, Nico, over email. Nico was very responsive and provided great communication the entire time, making the planning process much less stressful. Nico was able to accommodate all our needs easily.Once we got to the restaurant, we were escorted to a beautiful private room in the establishment's basement. The room was designed to resemble a speakeasy and had a large wine cellar in the back of the room.Once everyone arrived, Nico began to present a wine tasting to us himself. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and was able to present that information entertainingly. The wines he had picked out tasted delicious as well. Along with the wine tasting, Nico and his marvelous staff served a wonderful dinner consisting of Black Caviar, Olive Oil Poached Salmon, a wonderful Wagyu Beef Zabuton, and more wonderful items. Throughout the entire service, the staff was attentive and kind and ensured that we and our guests were taken care of.For the high-quality service, the price was also quite reasonable. We recommend the Tasting Room to anyone, and we will be coming back.”
“Oh, there's this amazing family-owned restaurant that serves food that tastes just like homemade Iranian cuisine. It's so comforting to have that authentic taste of home-cooked Iranian meals here in the US. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, treating you like family from the moment you step in. It really feels like being at home.”

Eato
“Can I give EATO, ten stars? Food - the best I have had in years; the service - flawless, perfect mix of professional and friendly; the atmosphere - welcoming and casual. I would not have changed a thing! I had a large group of people coming into Minneapolis from all over the country and a few local friends recommended EATO for the group farewell dinner. A few weeks ago I stopped in and talked to the manager, Jason, and he suggested a half restaurant buyout for the group with tables over by the bar. (Excellent idea, it worked out great!) Then he connected me with Chloe who helped me pick menu items so my guests could choose a salad course and an entree course from five options, with optional protein additions, she also printed out custom menus to welcome my guests. Super easy process, and Chloe had great suggestions,. When we arrived Jesse, Connor, and Chloe were ready and waiting at the bar to handle the group of 30 people, serving them drinks with fresh flowers in them, special tap beers, and bubbly Prosecco. I think part of the group also had some killer Old Fashions they raved about. Connor and Jesse were our servers and they moved through the tables taking orders, delivering the food, filling water glasses, getting drinks, etc. The table service was impeccable, these guys know how to treat guests like honored family. (What more could you ask for?!) I don't know the chef's name, but kudos to the kitchen. The food came out quickly, and was plated beautifully. Without fail, every guest told me that their meal was fantastic. I personally had the beet salad (yum!) and the chicken Parmesan. It was the best chicken parm I have ever had, not kidding. Thank you, EATO, for helping me put on a wonderful event! - Libby Huebner, corporate event planner”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I made a reservation, and my party of 2 was seated immediately and had a great waitstaff. We had sake, o-toro Bluefin sashimi, the Silly Billy roll (pictured and favorite), and a supreme combo. Everything was delicious and inspired me to return again to try more of their amazing creations!”
“Finally tried out northbound smokehouse and it did not disappoint! They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area great for when weather permits! (Picnic tables outside on the patio) There are plenty of drink options from beer, cocktails, wines, to non alcoholic. I ordered the cider sidecar (7/10) and tried one of the IPAs (8/10) and thought both were pretty good. For food we got smoked wings (sweet and spicy 7/10) and cheese curds (8/10). For my main meal I got the brisket grilled cheese which was delicious! (9/10) Our server was very tentative and our food came out timely! I will be returning in the future!”
“Although it's not 100% authentic, the food was pretty good. The mini feast was pretty good especially the Hmong sausages and the chicken. The lychee colada was decent. The inside was pretty nice too.”

Alma
“This place is truly the only food spot in Minneapolis I crave regularly. I only took 1 star away because 100% of the time I've sat in, they forget my bakery item and then are sold out and can't offer me anything. However, the sesame croissant is to die for so I always take my chances or at least order at the register.”
“The food is very tasty and for the price is about right for the size of the dishes. The service is not as quick, but they will treat you the best they can. There is not a parking lot (or at least I didn't see it)so street park it is. Definitely worth to give it a chance and try a good Ecuadorian food/experience ?”
“My wife and I came in on Monday before a show at the Fillmore. We had happy hour drinks and appetizers, along with entrees and dessert. Everything was wonderful. Hannah was great and if I remember correctly, Christian was the bartender. He made us very well balanced cocktails for 3 hours. My last drink was the chili rum punch. I pulled Hannah aside to get the ratios for the cocktail it was that good. I was taken back when she said it wasn't as popular as some of the other cocktails. That's a perfect patio cocktail and one that I'll try to recreate with my staff for this spring/summer. The only thing I will reccomend or suggest and it's maybe just a preference. For the crab cake appetizer, instead of placing the crab cake on top of the jalapeno tartar sauce,(which was delicious). Think about placing the sauce on the side and not underneath. It just seemed like there was way more tartar than needed. But like I previously stated, could just be my preference.”
“All three of us went to dinner tonight and had a truly memorable and excellent meal. We had not been to Salsa à la Salsa since they were on Nicollet Avenue and now I regret that we have been away for so long. I had the Pollo en Mole Poblano, H had the Pollo con Napolitos and J had the Tacos de Cameron. I’m a real fan of mole, but I don’t always love every mole I have. This was one of, if not the, best moles I have ever eaten. It was absolutely sublime. I used my tortillas to sop every last drop of the exquisite sauce! The black bean tamal that came with my meal was as light as a feather and just melted in your mouth. H’s chicken dish was flavorful and very tender, and the frijoles negro were expertly prepared. J tried both and said they were both delicious, but she really loved her shrimp tacos. The corn tortillas must have been freshly made – light, soft, perfect. H had the pineapple tamal for dessert and J and I had the orange flan. It was honestly the best Mexican food we’ve had in a very long time, and the best meal of recent memory. I honestly could have eaten that mole all night long. We won’t be waiting nearly as long for a return visit. 10/10!”

Char Bar
“Came to Char Bar for the first time for happy hour on Saturday with Kim T. Char Bar is a speakeasy on the inside of Butcher & Boar (through the glass doors). We arrived around 4:45 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too crazy busy, we were one of a handful of tables. The hour menu was pretty good! A good amount of food and drink items ranging between $6-10. I had the Chicken Sammy ($10), Kim had an Arby's style 3 Way Beef & Cheese sando ($17), and we split the Curly Fries ($6). I also ordered two of the non happy hour burgers to go ($8/each). I really liked my sandwich a lot, chicken was perfectly crispy, the slaw was savory and sweet, Polynesian vibes. I would absolutely get it again! Kim liked her sandwich but she said the sauce was too much and soaked the bottom of the bun, the curly fries were fine. I had a dragon tattoo cocktail, serenity pineapple rum cocktail, and a frozen rum & cherry coke slushy. Drinks were boozy but pricey! Loved the menu showing the drinks very cute and visibly pleasing. Update: Butcher Burger ($8) was sensational! It's no Parlour Bar burger but it's sooo good, tasted gourmet and traveled well. Fun fact: the restaurant group over Parlour Bar also owns Char Bar! I liked the pickled onions and the chipotle mayo cheese sauce, good solid burger for a good price!”

Kado no Mise
“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and presented authentic Japanese tastes and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed her table setting was set up to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kado No Mise provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.”
“Had a great dinner on a Saturday night. The roasted beet salad was a perfect preparation - beet , citrus, ricotta - one of the best beet salads I have ever had. The parsnip ravioli was also a winner. My dining companion raved about his radiatori nero - had a nice spice!”
“So happy I found Troubadour - My new favorite place ❤️ The wine, ambience, and charcuterie are all fantastic, and the owner was lovely and so nice. There was even live music! This place is a hidden gem in Minneapolis. Perfect for a date or just a little indulgence.”
“My husband I have been coming here for a couple years now and we LOVE it. As frequent brewery visitors, out of all that we have been to around the Twin Cities WSB is by far our favorite. The hospitality and atmosphere this place brings is unmatched. (Of course, we also LOVE their beer!) We always get a friendly smile and a delicious pint. Highly highly recommend.”

Brit's Pub
“We went here twice this past week. Once for lunch (inside). We had the poutine and a couple of locally crafted beers. The second time was after my husband's conference and we sat outside on the rooftop patio. The staff were very friendly, got our orders right, checked back to make sure we were happy. During the first visit, we sat inside and watched English Premiership Football with a very crowded bar filled with fans from both sides. The atmosphere (looked like a traditional British Pub) was great, food was good, beer was tasty and staff were fantastic! We'd definitely come back here again.”
“My friends and I stumbled into this restaurant when Up Down was too packed to enjoy. It happened to be my birthday weekend so I was open to trying something new. I absolutely loved our waiter. He wasn't pushy, had a sake bomb with us, was super nice and funny, and introduced me to the Peach Cosmopolitan. YUMMY! The food was delicious and the dessert was exceptional! Will definitely be back for more! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because when we first walked in, I told them how many people (3), and no one said anything to me. No, "it'll be a few minutes but please have a seat" or even mentioning the fact that there were people waiting ahead of us. We stood awkwardly in front of them but eventually moved to the side when we realized we wouldn't be seated right away. We almost walked out after waiting 10 minutes but were called to be seated as we were about to Google another spot.”
“Everyone was friendly from the moment we walked in. Our waitress, Taylor, was attentive, and had great recommendations. The food was delicious, as were the drinks! We will absolutely be back.”

Eli's East
“It's a bar with a restaurant. Kitchen seriously needed some ventilation. Very smoky in the restaurant, not burnt smoke, or cigarette smoke, but just good ole fashioned kitchen smoke. Be warned when they're serving their brunch menu in the morning they do not offer their a full menu.”
“Great place that's kid friendly and has 2 patios (front and back) that are both dog friendly. Good food, top notch service, great cocktails. The chicken and wild rice pot pie was a novel, yet obvious take on an old favorite. Of course those flavors go together. Can't believe it's not more common, but that's what's great about this place, they take familiar dishes and class them up. Really loved their cocktail options too. Will have to go back and try more because I was between a couple options. The blackberry sour was refreshing and had a hint of sweet to balance the tartness. Service was top notch, probably the best you'll get anywhere. Will definitely be back.Parking: There's a large parking lot that wraps around the restaurant. The back patio is in the parking lot. There's also street parking all around the lot, so if you can't find a spot in the lot, there are other options.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot more options for kids than on a standard kids menu and they had whole milk for littles. Their highchairs are better than most too with all the straps, etc. They give you crayons and the kids menu can be drawn on. Servers were good about putting food and drinks out of reach of babies and warning you about hot things. If you're looking for a family friendly meal out, this place has you covered.”
“At last, the calamari is back on the menu, this is super tasty. New drinks, this rum beverage was quite tasty, and served with enough mint for me to bring home and use in cooking for the next week, also the bartenders, servers and cooks are all super friendly and nice”

“This is as good as a McDonald's its going to be. It has plugins to charge your phone, it's not all crowded, and they don't rush you outta there all fast. And the workers aren't all in your business.”
“The wait time was crazy, but I understand that it is due to them being short-staffed. Nonetheless, the food was hot and the server still had a smile on her face. Nothing bad to say about the place.”
“Came here for the first time last weekend and super glad I did! The bar itself is super cute, it has a very chill and cozy vibe to it. We would definitely return! Great bar to hang out .”
“We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was hot and delicious. I tried pasta with Rosa sauce and it was very good. They have a create your own pasta menu, as well as many classic Italian dishes. Service was excellent. They also have a cute little outdoor area, so we will be excited to try that out next summer! I would highly recommend Nonna Rosa's.”

“Best fried fish I've had. The cod and walleye are good but once you try the halibut, you'll never go back. The hand cut fries are good and the cheese curds are great. If you sign up for their customer loyalty program, you get great coupons every week pretty much for things like free cheese curds, 15% off, 23% off, or other free items....or $5 off your order. It's really a great program and I use those coupons every time I go. Pro Tip: The lime tartar sauce is much better than the regular tartar sauce.”
“The food was delicious, the staff super friendly, cozy environment, fair prices, highly recommend ?Parking: You cam park in the back of the restaurant, very convenient.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful time at this delightful and delicious establishment. Our waiters were Sese, Ari, and Adrian. They were extremely attentive and amazingly friendly. They went above and beyond the line of duty going so far as to chase down the grilled pineapple and lamb for us. Would recommend 1000/10! Only about $65 and some change per person and well worth every penny! The grilled cheese is fanominal, and the lamb is the best. They bring the fresh cooked still on skewer meat to your table and server to your desires.”
“My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner here in April 2024. I thought the menu was well done with lots of fun sounding options, some unique to the restaurant. The ambiance was reminiscent of a 1920's speakeasy in a subterranean space with a hip vibe. The waiter was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was very good for bar food, but still bar food. All things said, I would recommend this place for casual dining.”
“This place is famously known as the home of the "Jucy Lucy" (or "Juicy Lucy"), a burger that has earned iconic status among locals and visitors alike. This casual eatery offers a quintessential dive bar experience with a straightforward, unpretentious vibe that focuses squarely on serving up delicious, hearty fare. The Jucy Lucy itself is the star of the menu—an ingenious burger with cheese melted inside the beef patty instead of on top, leading to a gooey core that’s both surprising and satisfying. Eating this burger is a must-try Minneapolis experience; just be cautious as the first bite can release hot, molten cheese. Matt’s rendition is often lauded for its perfect cheese-to-meat ratio and the flavorful beef patty that's seared to a crispy exterior. The setting at Matt's is typical of a traditional bar, with a cozy and somewhat nostalgic atmosphere that complements its simple yet satisfying menu. Besides their famous burger, they serve a range of classic bar foods and beverages, making it a great spot for a casual meal in a laid-back environment.Service at Matt's is friendly and efficient, with a local charm that makes everyone feel welcome. It's a great place to dive into the local culture, enjoy a piece of Minneapolis culinary history, and just have a good time with good food.”
“Awesome place. Awesome vibe. Awesome staff. Awesome food (stuffed salmon and jambalaya). Awesome time.We will be back for sure. I'll remember to get some photos and post an update. This is the 2nd time we've been her, 1st where we got food.Delicious.”
“First time there this weekend. Highly recommend. Great food. The best part was the waiter who serviced our table. It was so refreshing to have a person waiting on our table with patience, a sense of humor and a concern about how we were enjoying our meals. Dominic made the experience 100 percent better than what it may have been. Our group can not thank you enough Dominic to adding to an amazing time.”
“First time here and a great experience! Super cool place, awesome decor and environment. Overall felt very upscale but not pretentious, service was fantastic by all. Everyone was very courteous and polite, very attentive. Drink and food times were quite quick.Food was delicious, had Chicken and Avocado Eggrolls for an appetizer, steak and walleye entrees then a cookies and cream cake for dessert. Steaks were cooked just right, meal additions were handled accurately, everything was delicious, plus portion sizes did not lack, we all happily struggled to finish our plates. They surprised our daughter with a candle for fun which she was sooo excited about.”
“Went here for my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint. Beverages and food came out quickly and the server even brought him a slice of cheesecake. So kind! We'll be back!”
“This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.”
“We had a very good experience at The Newsroom. We went before attending The Lion King at the Orpheum. We had a very helpful and attentive waiter. We ordered red wine, wings (with plum sauce) that were delicious and a special - the Gobbler turkey sandwich. The sandwhich was good but the house fries that came with it were very tasty. We liked the menu - a wide selection and many items that we wanted to try. We will be back”
“We enjoyed Easter Brunch at Tullibee. Our waiter was excellent - giving good advice on the main entrees and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We all enjoyed our main entrees and especially liked the rosemary potatoes.”
“Mimosas were delicious and so was the Copper Benedict. There was a bit of a lengthy wait time for service due to how busy it was when we visited, but I highly recommend trying brunch here.”
“This was SO good. The menu was large, and there were so many great options! I had the chilaquiles, and they were to die for. Very friendly service, and vibe. We will definitely be back.”
“My favorite eating place on the entire planet. If I could eat only one thing for the rest of my life, it would be their cabbage rolls. I usually have one for my main course and then one for dessert. Everything is fantastic. Kidding on the dessert thing. :)”

“This place is INCREDIBLE. they’ve been open for just a month or so and I’ve eaten there at least 15 to 20 times. The service is awesome, the staff is super friendly, I don’t know about you but great service and friendly staff is part of a good dining experience, and Rollicious has it all. I was there today and am trying the Nori and rice for the first, I’m very excited. I will be back to try some of the other menu items.”
“Excellent! Hands down the BEST jollof rice! Madam Oga is a great hostess, she is so sweet and it shows through her food. The jollof rice and chicken was outstanding. I also tried the fried chicken and it was tasty too. The meat pies are huge and a meal by themselves. The ginger beer is spicy and sweet. ? We enjoyed everything about our meal. The resturant is also super cute and welcoming inside. I highly recommend and will certainly return when in the area.”
“Great neighborhood spot, food quality is awesome and super affordable. Highly recommend supporting this local neighborhood spot. My only advice is they advertise online ordering, but that option for takeout wasn't on their website nor link to delivery services.”
“I ordered French fries and the shredded chicken arepa (fried shell) and brooo it was so good I kinda wanted to cry. I could feel the dopamine and serotonin just pulsing thru me post ingest. Cant wait to try more of their menu items.”
“This is in a mini strip with plenty of parking space. Stopped in for a quick lunch date with a friend and kids around noonish, maybe 1pm. I'll just say, we did absolutely no research before coming. Their lunch hour is 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Upon arrival we were informed the last time to order is 2:15. Service was great, making sure we get in as much as we could for AYCE. Ordered a little bit of everything. The kids really enjoyed the hibachi dishes that includes fried rice or noodles and choice of protein. The yum yum sauce that comes with was light with hint of yogurt (might be wrong in this ingredient since I didn't asked). If you love Takoyaki, these are probably one of the best ones I've had. I also really enjoy the Cha Soba, it's a chilled green tea noodle with sauce and green onions. First timer embarrassing story* about the Cha Soba. It came out in a soba bamboo tray and having no knowledge of this dish - I shamelessly poured the sauce over the soba, thinking there was a bottom . Anywho, love the soba and our waiter was extremely kind to help clean the mess I created. So, dip the soba in the sauce, don't pour, ok? Also had the crunch roll, fire island roll and spicy girl roll. My favorite was the spicy girl roll, it's a spicy tuna and yellowtail mixed. Literally, it melts with every bite. I forgot to take photos but will definitely get some in when I crave sushi again. Currently my favorite ACYE sushi.”
“Good food and service. The rolls are nice with delicious sauce. The sushi and sashimi are great. Fresh salmon and yellowtail. Very thick cut. The creamy scallops sushi is a nice taste. The sushi tower is always my goto. Great flavour with rice at bottom and fresh salmon on top. The AYCE price is very reasonable for the quality of food.”
“What a nice surprise. I usually judge a place by their ability to do something correctly, for this Eggs over hard. You would be surprised how miraculously some places mess this up. But Brothers got it perfect, first try. I will be back, great tasking food, cool vintage atmosphere, and great prices too.”
“Fresh Mediterranean style bowls. Take your own order kiosk and they bring the food out to you. Very efficient once you get past the technology. I’ll definitely be back. Staff was very friendly.”
“It’s drive-thru only, you can’t order/go sit inside. They don’t give sleeves for hot drinks unless you ask. Otherwise, pretty good as far as Starbucks goes.”
“Food is great- cocktails are great and the room/location are beautiful! Staff is kind and attentive. The food and drinks are a little pricey for brunch. I encourage the powers that be to generate a few cocktail options that are $14 or less, put the coffee in bigger cups/ provide more of it, and to add a piece of toast to the mushroom/gruyere omelet order.”
“Drunk Donald's has risen again! Came for the memories, and also a classic McDouble with fries. So happy to see McDonald's back in Dinkytown again! I will say it's a lot cleaner now and the only way to order is from the robot kiosks which is honestly for the best given its less than sober clientele. Honestly the new McD's is fab, but minus points for it only being one level now. So glad to experience this important college rite of passage again!”
“great atmosphere for watching sports, great mix of music and awesome staff! we had Sasha as our server and she was very attentive, helpful, and so welcoming! We were looking for somewhere to watch the first half of Sunday football while eating time to go to the airport and this was the perfect spot!”
