“I have been here a few times and always forget to leave a review lol. More recently I have been for my birthday , my sisters and just because friend date. Just so happens its always for brunch on Saturday so we always see the performers. The food is delicious , fresh and hot . The waiters are always great fun, funny too. The drinks honey amazing. Not watery either and they always have a new drink to try for the table depending on the time of year. Its always a good time a LUSH. Doing my 30th b-day there again in 2024. Make sure to bring cash for the performers they will read you if you don't, well the host will :)“

“Always a good spot to return to. Will be very packed on Saturday nights out of all days in the week. Performing staff is great, late night bartenders are great (I imagine it must br a mega stressful job)! Roaming staff might be a bit crabby depending on the day. Mixed drinks will range from $7-$12 each depending on what's in it. Overall a great place though I have had some bad moments there, it happens. Surprisingly, never had the food; not had the chance to yet.“

eagleBOLTbar Gay Bar • $
515 S Washington Ave, Minneapolis

“Last night was my second visit and once I got past the whole waiting in line to order (this seems to be a Minnesota thing - polite, but not efficient), I realized that I enjoyed this place quite a bit.Waiting in line for ten minutes to order is uncomfortable for individuals with chronic pain and invisible disabilities, and it renders all of the bar seating unavailable.I would much rather grab a seat and wait my turn like any other bar in any other city. Otherwise, once I got used to it, it wasn't as bad.The bartenders were polite and friendly, although it seems like you open your tab with an individual bartender and not the bar as a whole? I just gave the second bartender a different card.Overall, the drink prices are reasonable and quite strong, and I felt like I had a good experience without spending too much, and would like to come more often. The show tunes were especially my style, and I'll have to visit the patio on a future visit.“

The Brass Rail Lounge Gay Bar • $

“Cool place in a very convenient location along 65 if heading north out of the cities. Broasted chicken is delicious and they have cold beer. Sodas and tea are bottled/canned (no free refills) so the tap beer is the best deal when it comes to beverages. Tried a chicken sandwich last time I was in there and wasn't overly impressed but it wasn't bad either, They didn't offer cheese curds as a side so they charged about $8 for those, not the best deal. Worth stopping for a bite, but stick with the broasted chicken!“

“Honestly after reading all of the most recent reviews on Google I was really hesitant to go.We went anyways, at the door the security gaurd asked if he could frisk me before touching me.My fiancée had a multi-tool (which had a knife) so he had that taken away before entering and he picked it up as we were leaving.Upon walking in, the vibe was chaotic in a good way. The bathroom was fine, no soap though, and low stall doors which had been mentioned before.Drinks were overpriced but what do you expect in downtown Minneapolis, if you want to save money stay home.I can say that if you want to go, go. There were many different bars with different vibes. Don't be dumb and vape in the bathrooms/give your underage friends drinks. That'll get you kicked out. There is a coat check which I didn't know about, for four jackets to be checked it was $16.Go and have a good time! Be mindful and enjoy yourself.“
