“Milly’s is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! The wine selection is impressive, with a great variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that catered perfectly to our group. The food, especially the charcuterie boards, was delicious and beautifully presented. Don’t miss out on the French onion soup! Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Timothy, the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect pairings for our meal. And the owner, Brandon, was so welcoming and personable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. “Flora Room is a gorgeous cocktail bar located behind and beneath Chef Del Prado's steakhouse Porzana. Fortunately, I arrived at 5:30 PM on a Saturday, which was early enough to avoid a line and a velvet rope. I don't wait in line for anything unless I'm at a pharmacy, bakery, post office, or airport. Lines at restaurants and bars strike me as pretentious or bad management, and I don't tolerate either. However, I'm old, and at my age, nothing is worth waiting for unless it's a necessity.

I found a seat at the beautiful and expansive bar and looked around at the Del Prado design. The colors might be different, but Flora was reminiscent of Minari and Noma. All three add to the Twin Cities' cachet. However, I was taken aback by the attire I saw around me. People were dressed in shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers. It's friggen Saturday night Minneapolis. Have some class!

Flora Room was a lovely cocktail lounge, perfect for wooing, but don't expect to strike up a conversation with any of the bartenders. At these Del Prado joints, the staff must be trained not to engage. I'm out alone and enjoy talking. Bartenders used to be part of a lounge's attraction when I grew up in NYC. They learned your name, knew what you did, and gave you a hearty welcome. That, I guess, is not part of the culture in Minneapolis. Well, at least not at the Del Prado restaurants and bars. Chef Del Prado is from Argentina, and certainly, Argentina is one of the warmest and friendliest countries in the world, so I don't get it. I now live up the block from the Flora Room. I'm a neighbor and would like to be treated like one. Neighborly and the Flora Room are distant concepts.“

“Crispy wings, pizza and Bar burgers so no medium well but comes out hot so not bad at all! Smaller place but has a pool table. We like this place because its quieter. To eat and have a couple beers is maybe 50$ FOR 2. The bartenders are observant and take good care of you!“

“Small Hours was on my list and although we had little time we could make it for a glass of wine. I loved the atmosphere and how cozy it was. Since I am from Spain I checked both their wine and food menu and I was very pleased with their selection. They closed after we left and Bobby from Phoebe Bridgers started playing - It was just magical to hear it from the very dark street. A 10/10.“

“A great area for dogs of all sizes to run outdoors, attentive staff to manage any pup issues, a great menu, and great drinks! It's a fantastic place to spend an evening with friends and your dogs without worrying about keeping your dog on your heels. There is also an indoor area for rainy or snowy days.“

“I have tried just about everything on the menu at Bina's. The Bina Burger (Smashburger) is a two patty wagon burger....SOOOOO YUMNY. The Tendiemelt is enough for two people to share. “Up-Down was a fun little barcade. Games aren't free, but they're generous with the tokens. By the end of the night there was a chain of 3 or 4 groups just paying it forward, passing on unused tokens to others because we had an excess.

The selection of games is good, but not amazing. Quite a few, though, are in varying states of repair. Pinball not connected to the loyalty system, cracked screens, loose joysticks, broken coin slots, out of order cabinets.

Overall we had a great time. Played through the entire Simpsins arcade game and a few other classics, while sipping on some reasonably priced beverages. Definitely a nice night out.“

The staff were friendly and attentive even with a packed house. The food and desserts were amazing, and I really appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic options. The burlesque show was fantastic too — fun, classy, entertaining, sexy and fit the atmosphere perfectly. Volstead's Emporium is one of those places that feels like an experience, not just a night out! Can’t wait to go back!“

“The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. I started with the green curry octopus which was a really excellent balance of flavors and textures. The mango salmon was cooked beautifully and paired nicely with the rice and delicious sauce. It was a meal rich with flavor but not heavy.“

My fault for not inspecting the itemized bill closer i would have expected staff to share that a 21% gratuity was already included (not to mention an additional “administrative “ fee was also included) before I added an additional 20% gratuity.“
