“Visited for the first time with my daughter around 9 pm on a Friday evening. Every employee we encountered was super friendly! Our server was amazing. I think his name was Grayson but I’m not 100%. He was always there when we needed something, provided great suggestions and was just fun, personable and all around outstanding. This restaurant appears to be a popular nightspot as it definitely got busier as the night went on. Great music. Nice selection of small plates, decent prices. Good variety of cocktails with fun names. Large selection of beer. Highly recommend the Mushroom Bruschetta! Amazing and was served piping hot! They have those real good fries too…definitely would get again. The chicken wings were also delicious. Perfect crisp on the outside and nice spice to them. Try dipping the fries in the spicy sauce that comes with the chicken. I would recommend this spot and will go back.“

“Cultivated skill of fine dining meets dive bar. Bull’s Horn is something in between. Reasonably priced for dishes created by a culinary chef who makes his very own house made bologna and cheeses. His subtle cooking techniques results in extraordinary taste and texture that the unrefined tastebud may miss. Great food coupled with great service drove my family to stop here twice during our weekend trip to Minneapolis. Here are our must tries: Cheese Curd: Lightly battered and geniusly paired with thousand island dressing which breaks up the acidity of the cheese and brings out the rich creamy cheese flavor. Bologna Sandwich: Not from your childhood! This homemade recipe marries a blend of spices that makes your tastebuds dance. Lightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside…assembled with homemade American cheese, a slice of crisp white onion on toasted white bread… the best I’ve had in my life! Chicken Gizzards: Technique, technique, technique. I can only wonder the effort and preparation on the front end that makes these gizzards so, so tender. Lightly battered and minimal frying time leave these gizzard with a “cut with a folk” and “melt in your mouth” texture that I have never experienced before.“

“Nice little hole in the wall spot on Central Ave. Busy street makes for easy access by foot, but not car. So it’ll appeal to some but maybe not all. Drinks were great! The apricot old fashioned was phenomenal. Didn’t get food because there wasn’t much of a menu, but smaller items to snack on. Not really a dinner spot but definitely a romantic date spot with great drinks and service. $4 Hamms for HH is excellent.

Parking: If you are a driver, park on side streets and walk.“

“The manager Andrew is so kind and personable. He tries to ensure of a smooth and fun experience for all of his guest. Our server for the evening was Sylvia and our drinks came fast and prompt with check-ins and well timed water refills as well. Even John at the door is willing to strike up a chat as he scopes the area for you for a seat as they don't take reservation. I have visited this place more than a few times and I will say its a great place to start your night with friends or meet someone for a quick cocktail.“

“This was a nice surprise. We were looking for a spot to grab dinner before a concert and ended up eating and staying for drinks for a couple of hours. The drinks Dave made us were fantastic. The food was very good. Overall a great spot to stop at for food in the area. Between the great conversation with Willie one of the managers, and Dave behind the bar, it was a great experience and I know this will be where I go next time I'm up in Minneapolis.“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! The food and the cocktails were top tier and it’s clear that across the board, from FOH to BOH, they care about the product and experience they are providing to customers. “Just ate here on a whim. Wife picked it from a huge list on google. They did not disappoint. Order the fried chicken. You won’t be sorry. I also had burnt ends. Prolly the best I’ve ever had. Sticky toffee pudding and banana Creme pie for dessert. This place was off the chain. Great food great atmosphere great service. Will be back soon. “This spot has been a good staple in the neighborhood for a bit now. You’ll always what you want out of a pizza. The bar is lovely and the staff are always friendly.

We got a half order of the beef skewer and even my picky boyfriend enjoyed it! The seasoning was delicious and it was cooked so well! We’re unfortunately not big vegetable eaters so we skipped the giardiniera that came with it. Highly recommend trying it out if you’re a bit more hungry and just pizza won’t satisfy you.

We got exactly what we wanted which was a pepperoni pizza with ricotta. Was delicious and the only note I have was more ricotta! Otherwise great!!

I’d stopped in before for an after dinner drink and had the Mezcal Margarita and have been craving it ever since, gave up on making a “real” excuse to stop by and drove in from the city. My, my was I NOT disappointed. I got the Hills salad, the Mezcal Margarita and a Baguette with Butter. It ended up being just what I needed. The salad had a great acidity and bite to it without being overwhelming, and bread and butter (oh my goodness, the bread and butter) was incredibly flavorful and everything you’d ever want in a simple bite. Topping it all off with the marg that I’d been dreaming about for a couple weeks now, I was far from disappointed. The atmosphere also did not disappoint, with Linden Hills residents buzzing and out and about on a Thursday night! If you’re ever out and in need a reliably good bite and drink, this is your place to go. Bravo!“

“My new favorite bar! This place is awesome. My friends and I went for our first time for some food and drinks. We collectively got the smash burger, tender melt, deviled eggs, mozz sticks, midwest sushi, pickle fries etc. everything was delicious!! The aesthetic of the bar is dope as well filled with vintage beer decor and pop art. Top it off with a Miller Lite draft with a pickle, I’ll be back!“

“The design is brilliant. Decor was thoughtfully selected and, frankly, a pretty establishment.

Service was next level. They really try to make your experience wonderful. I haven't tipped as much as I did in a while.

The food was good, not great. We started with 'moules mariniere a l'homard', which had two kinds of mussels in lobster broth and served with pomme frites. Honestly, it was the highlight of the meal and plentiful (~16-18).

Our first entree was the 'wagyu steak au poivre', which was a shoulder tender with a bordelaise and pomme frites. Good quantity (10-12 oz) but likely much less tender than the wagyu tenderloin (7 oz).

The 2nd entree was the 'short ribs'. The short ribs itself was a nice portion size, but the dish and its accompaniments were lacking flavor, moisture, and any wow factor. If I were Maison Margaux, I would axe or re-invent this dish.

We finished the meal with a beautiful looking 'tarte aux fruits'. Tart shell was less buttery and less flaky than I'd like, but the cream filling, 3 kinds of fruit, and 2 kinds of coulee rescued the dish.

Though I want to give them 4 stars for some shortcomings, there were a ton of attractive options on the menu that we didn't pick. Overall, I see a lot of potential for this restaurant. The true testament is if I would recommend Maison Margaux to a friend... heck yeah, I would.“

“the spicy margarita bucket was delicious—not too sweet or overpowering given the volume—and i really liked their fries, normal and animal style. they were kind of battered-style. The cheese curds were a little thicker than the style i typically go for but still good.

they have outdoor seating, which was just what i was looking for to enjoy the nice weather. they don’t blast loud music or the tvs which made inside pleasant too, and just the right vibe for chat with friends over a super bucket ? will be returning!“

“The Northeast section of Minneapolis is a surprising Mecca for neighborhood taverns, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy and hot, complemented by an icy cold PBR. The bartender was very pleasant and made sure I had everything I needed, while the clientele were entertaining and added to the lively atmosphere. I can't wait to come back and try the double cheeseburger again.“
