We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. “Went to Yard House with a big group and it's basically the perfect spot for that — huge menu, huge beer list, something for everyone. I tried one of the local drafts I'd never seen before, and my friend got the giant nachos during happy hour which were loaded and honestly a great deal. We also split a pizza and some street tacos, both solid. It's loud and lively, more sports bar energy than intimate dinner, so heads up if you want a quiet conversation. Service kept up well even with our big table. Great choice for a casual group hangout with drinks.“

“The point of this place is to get drunk and socialize, and you can absolutely accomplish that here. They've ruined the atmosphere with the stage they added a few years back for bands. I know the intention was good, but bands could fit a smaller footprint without the stage, and it's a single room that absolutely does not need elevation. We played there for years, and having room for people to dance made the experience wonderful. Those days are gone.“

“Was at Moes's Char House Chanhassen with Sarah Morgan . Pulled $250 in Pulltabs. The waiter, an Excelsior Dufus, would not let me use 3 credit cards, he demanded cash. I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“

This place will definitely make the top 5 of pizza places I will visit regularly. I accompanied my slices with a Schell's Amber. A perfect beer to accompany this pizza. Maynard’s has always had my favorite summer Margarita on the wharf, but this year it has been inconsistent and they added orange juice is a skinny spicy Margarita! Please put it back and make it consistent so we can rely on having a great drink every time.“

“I have been to Pub 42 many times either by myself or with a party up adds of 6 people. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. We have had the pleasure of having Riley and Iza as our servers on many occasions and I can’t stress how kind and accommodating both of them are, I have celiac disease and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients and the process of the food so that I am safe when eating there. Including the double checking and making sure that my food is gluten free, and with very limited chance of cross contamination. Both do a great job of making sure the food is good and arrives at an appropriate time, while being friendly and kind and connecting with us as patrons. I would recommend pub 42 to anyone and everyone and tell them to request being seated in either Riley or Iza’s section to guarantee them the best of service available.“

“We needed a quick dinner and just googled restaurants and found Lars. It’s a gorgeous little restaurant tucked into the lobby of a hotel. The food was delicious and came out pipping hot; we made it in time for happy hour with their new menu and had a bunch of fun stuff to choose from. The drinks were great too and mine came with a cute little golf club toothpick! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and the bartender came out to make sure I like my drink. If I lived closer this would be my new spot to go to regularly.“

“Friends who live in the area took me out for dinner at Roberts. I selected a starter for my meal as I wasn't that hungry. Ordered the quesadillas. They were dine but I was perplexed with the sides of lettuce, tomatoes, etc...that more like salad components. They certainly couldn't be added to the quesadillas easily. I asked for some ranch dressing and made a side salad. Some tortilla chips and or some frioles would have been a better accompaniment. Sam, our server was an absolute delight. Give that young man a raise. Atmosphere was quiet and we could converse easily.“

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“

“This is a great new addition to Excelsior. Another venue created by Jester group. They also have Parlour downstairs and a fusion Asian place nearby.
We started with the popovers. They were a great option. Light, eggy, and cooked to perfection. The honey butter was the perfect pairing. The Caesar salad was very well made, balanced, and very fresh ingredients. The chicken wild rice soup was a nice starter. Perfectly seasoned, creamy, a good balance of wild rice, veggies, mushrooms,& chicken.
The Agnolletti was a small plate but very rich and truffle-y. The pasta was properly cooked and the creamy cheese filling was silky smooth. The Au Jus beef was a highlight. The shaves beef was delicious and tender. The au jus had depth of flavor and really soaked in to perfectly textured bun. Maybe could have used just a tad more salt, but regardless the flavors popped.
The margarita and the gimlet were excellent. The cherry bark collins was refreshing.
Overall a delicious meal. Absolutely would go back!“
