“Was at Moes's Char House Chanhassen with Sarah Morgan . Pulled $250 in Pulltabs. The waiter, an Excelsior Dufus, would not let me use 3 credit cards, he demanded cash. I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“

I'm telling you, just show up. We ordered the Jumbalaya for an appetizer... unbelievable. So flavorful.

“No pun intended, but it is refreshing to have this in Maple Plain. It's right next to Fork Less. It gives me a better, healthier, option than the c-store. I stopped in for a protein shake, key lime, and was impressed with the size of the shake and the outstanding flavor. Around 200 calories and 24g of protein, plus vitamins and minerals. That covered lunch today. Next time just might be a T-Bomb or iced coffee.“

Usual bar food like pizzas and chips, nothing too special there, but the people here make it special. I love all the bartenders here, and they host a great karaoke night on Thursdays and now trivia on Saturdays. Prices are also pretty decent with most drinks being $5-$10.“

“We had a wedding reception dinner here last Saturday and I would highly recommend it. Mike was so helpful the last month answering all my questions and getting everything I needed to make our night perfect. Everyone was ranting and raving on how good the food was! Our bartender Kyle C. was awesome! He was busing tables and serving drinks like a champ. He even found me the last Busch light in the bar and saved it for me. Our night could have not been more perfect thanks to the hard working staff here. Best of all it worked great with our budget! “I am a customer and I had the best dining annd entertainment experience with the incredible staff here at Floyd’s bar! The band was Coconut Tiger, such a class act! The band was high energy, the bartender Frizby was our favorite! We had a large group of us but Frizby our girl did a AMAZING job of taking care of us, it was spontaneous, we came in for a quick bite, and it ended up being an entire night to remember! Thank you Floyd’s Bar staff! The security guys were kind but badass too, the funnest night I’ve had for a long time!“

Maynard’s has always had my favorite summer Margarita on the wharf, but this year it has been inconsistent and they added orange juice is a skinny spicy Margarita! First of all no self-respecting margarita has orange juice, and second of all, you can’t make a skinny margarita with pure sugar in orange juice. Please put it back and make it consistent so we can rely on having a great drink every time.“

“This is a great new addition to Excelsior. Another venue created by Jester group. They also have Parlour downstairs and a fusion Asian place nearby.
We started with the popovers. They were a great option. Light, eggy, and cooked to perfection. The honey butter was the perfect pairing. The Caesar salad was very well made, balanced, and very fresh ingredients. The chicken wild rice soup was a nice starter. Perfectly seasoned, creamy, a good balance of wild rice, veggies, mushrooms,& chicken.
The Agnolletti was a small plate but very rich and truffle-y. The pasta was properly cooked and the creamy cheese filling was silky smooth. The Au Jus beef was a highlight. The shaves beef was delicious and tender. The au jus had depth of flavor and really soaked in to perfectly textured bun. Maybe could have used just a tad more salt, but regardless the flavors popped.
The margarita and the gimlet were excellent. The cherry bark collins was refreshing.
Overall a delicious meal. Absolutely would go back!“

“We had an excellent lunch today! The waitress did notify us right away that they were still new to the systems and a new owner and that things may be a little chaotic but, It was our first time stopping in and we hope to make it up that way again, soon! Picture may look weird but I'm a NO BUN gal. I also want to mention the fries were PERFECT! We were pleasantly surprised when they arrived already seasoned and they were hot and crispy but not overcooked I even told my granddaughter I think those were the best order of french fries I've ever had anywhere because they were hot and perfect and seasoned! The waitress also suggested the seasoned sour cream over the plain sour cream, and I would definitely recommend to do that, it was all delicious! The building is cool and it's got a great looking outdoor patio that we wanted to sit at but it kept raining off and on so we decided to sit inside. But next time I would love to sit outside! I know there was one person working behind the bar and I'm pretty sure our server was the only one working the whole floor other than possibly the new owner, or maybe it was the manager, that was helping to bus tables a little bit, and take out food and she/server did an amazing job.“
