One key thing not to miss are the side dishes the carrots with dates where incredible with just the right blend of spices to make such a simple side dish unforgettable.

For those that are worried about the horseradish spread, don’t worry the kick is very “Minnesota” light you won’t even know it’s horseradish.“

“No pun intended, but it is refreshing to have this in Maple Plain. It's right next to Fork Less. It gives me a better, healthier, option than the c-store. I stopped in for a protein shake, key lime, and was impressed with the size of the shake and the outstanding flavor. Around 200 calories and 24g of protein, plus vitamins and minerals. That covered lunch today. Next time just might be a T-Bomb or iced coffee.“

“Really great local spot I love, it's a bit more low key than Babe's next door so it's a good place to escape to where it's usually not too busy. Usual bar food like pizzas and chips, nothing too special there, but the people here make it special. I love all the bartenders here, and they host a great karaoke night on Thursdays and now trivia on Saturdays. Prices are also pretty decent with most drinks being $5-$10.“

“Ordered at another nearby restaurant on Uber eats for delivery and waited almost two hours, only to find out they were closed and never communicated anything to me or Uber Eats leaving me foodless, decided to order directly from the narrows instead and just go pick it up myself (on superbowl Sunday Evening mind you)

I kid you not they had it ready in probably less than 15 minutes. A previous time that I ordered from here for pick up, it was also ready very quickly as well! As a local I will prioritize getting a burger and fries here when I’m in the mood rather than a certain other restaurant on highway 7 ;)“

“Was a little weird at first.. walked in to a guy named Bob dripping wet with 6 shamwows laying on the floor next to him. Started talking, friendly guy but thinks cheese on burgers is gross. Huge red flag. Also, he got so drunk I had to turn into an Uber for the night to get him home safely. Exceptional place otherwise.“

“The point of this place is to get drunk and socialize, and you can absolutely accomplish that here. They've ruined the atmosphere with the stage they added a few years back for bands. I know the intention was good, but bands could fit a smaller footprint without the stage, and it's a single room that absolutely does not need elevation. We played there for years, and having room for people to dance made the experience wonderful. Those days are gone.“

We ordered 7 tapas for 4 people and shared. Highly recommend the paella marinera, but every dish we ate was incredible. There was not a bite we didn’t enjoy.

“We live in the area and on prior occasions had not been impressed with the menu. That has changed with the most recent menu revamp. My family can be pickier eaters and everyone enjoyed their dinner. The bone-in short rib was a hit. The restaurant and bar atmosphere is outstanding. We requested a booth by a window and were accommodated. A great overall experience.“

“I am a customer and I had the best dining annd entertainment experience with the incredible staff here at Floyd’s bar! The band was Coconut Tiger, such a class act! The band was high energy, the bartender Frizby was our favorite! We had a large group of us but Frizby our girl did a AMAZING job of taking care of us, it was spontaneous, we came in for a quick bite, and it ended up being an entire night to remember! “Was at Moes's Char House Chanhassen with Sarah Morgan . Pulled $250 in Pulltabs. The waiter, an Excelsior Dufus, would not let me use 3 credit cards, he demanded cash. I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

The waitress did notify us right away that they were still new to the systems and a new owner and that things may be a little chaotic but, It was our first time stopping in and we hope to make it up that way again, soon! Picture may look weird but I'm a NO BUN gal. I also want to mention the fries were PERFECT! We were pleasantly surprised when they arrived already seasoned and they were hot and crispy but not overcooked I even told my granddaughter I think those were the best order of french fries I've ever had anywhere because they were hot and perfect and seasoned! The waitress also suggested the seasoned sour cream over the plain sour cream, and I would definitely recommend to do that, it was all delicious! The building is cool and it's got a great looking outdoor patio that we wanted to sit at but it kept raining off and on so we decided to sit inside. But next time I would love to sit outside! I know there was one person working behind the bar and I'm pretty sure our server was the only one working the whole floor other than possibly the new owner, or maybe it was the manager, that was helping to bus tables a little bit, and take out food and she/server did an amazing job.“
