“Literally one of my favorite spots to get good quality sushi in the cities. The staff are quick and efficient and the vibe is cozy. Just a forewarning that the rolls are huge but absolutely delicious.”
“Nice restaurant with a cozy vibe. Went for Valentine’s Day and got a reservation a week prior with no problem. Food was good but came out warm vs fresh/hot. Not sure if that was because it was a busy night but was expecting more for the pre we paid. Would give them another shot in the future on a less busy night.”
“Good food, awesome service and good atmosphere. Thank you to the servers that made this a great night and thank you to the chefs for the delicious tacos and chips!”
“One of the best spots in the Twin Cities for a live, sit down, music experience. Sound is fantastic, wine, food and service is second to none. One of my favorite spots in the metro area... Hands down.”
“Excelsior Brewing is now one of the best breweries in the twin cities. I used to think their beers were just ok, but they have seriously stepped up their game in the past couple of years. The strawberry cream ale, spiced dark ale (can’t remember the exact name!) and their s’mores beer are unique and tasty. Their location in excelsior is great and their trivia night on Thursdays is super fun. Don’t always head to Minneapolis for great beer- Excelsior is where it’s at!!!!”
“Layline is an exceptional restaurant. The food options are “creations” by the chef. This is high quality food with outstanding flavor, texture, and options. The management and servers were friendly and efficient. Cocktails are also creative and tasty. Outstanding place!”
“We had a large group for brunch on a Sunday. Staff was accommodating of the little ones - even brought some toys over for them which was a nice surprise. Great service, great food, we’ll be back!Kid-friendliness: We had three kids under 8 in our group, very accommodating.”
“The staff is exceptional - they get to know your loved ones personally, truly care. You won’t find a more loving, friendly community that truly wants to see its residents be the best they can be - regardless of age or capabilities:)”
“Like most food places, it's not cheap to eat a quick sandwich these days. Some due to higher provisions, some due to better wages for workers. So this part we support.”
“We had a fantastic time at Olive's Fresh Pizza Bar in Excelsior on a recent trip back to Minnesota! We had the Cecilia and the Thai Chicken Crunch pizzas, and they were both delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a cozy vibe. Service was friendly and attentive but not "over the top", which was great. I'm definitely craving their pizza now and will have to visit again soon!”
“This place is AMAZING, the place replaced the suburban and it is waaay better. The food(especially the jerk tacos) are amazing, the menu has many options. The servers are very friendly and the manager is usually hanging around and is very very nice. The Jamaican vibe is very fun as well.”
“Crazy busy Friday night but found a table! Pretty loud but the booths cut out a lot of the noise. Food was fast and delicious-as always! Finished our pizza before we could capture the photo. Wings were a double order and were juicy. Buffalo sauce is pretty mild and a little sweet. Caesar salad was good and not overly dressed. The group loved the marinara pasta too!”
“To Laurie Benson... I assume you don't see the irony of judging other people as being judgemental. If you have a problem with the patrons of haskell, it's you with the problem.”
“Miyabi is a staple when my friends and I are back in our hometown. Affordable and yummy prices (especially during lunch hours). Usually pretty easy to get a table. They have a large menu with a range of items for everyone in the group.”
“Daily walk isn’t complete without fuel for the mind , body and attitude! Love the freshness and diversity of menu. I’ve gone through the menu 3x already and can’t wait for ”
