“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! The standout for me was the Yukon Angus Burger—I ordered it medium, and it was executed perfectly. It’s rare to find a place that hits the temperature that accurately while keeping the meat juicy and flavorful. I paired it with the sweet potato fries, which were genuinely delicious.
For an appetizer, the Korean Cauliflower is a must-try. It has a fantastic spice level and a deep, savory taste that really hits the spot.
To top off the evening, I had a Classic Old Fashioned. The bartender, Shawn, clearly knows his craft; the drink was aged to perfection and balanced beautifully.

Mike was so helpful the last month answering all my questions and getting everything I needed to make our night perfect. Everyone was ranting and raving on how good the food was! Our bartender Kyle C. was awesome! He was busing tables and serving drinks like a champ. He even found me the last Busch light in the bar and saved it for me. Our night could have not been more perfect thanks to the hard working staff here. Best of all it worked great with our budget! “We reserved a room to have a reception with about 20 guests, as soon as we walked through the door, Holly our server was very courteous and attentive, very attentive!
She showed us to the room and made us at ease for our event, guests showed up and where immediately served by Holly, little details taken care of and over the top service!
Food was very good, arrived quickly and follow up for drinks and desserts was great.
I was very pleased with the tab, and the fact that they didn't automatically add a gratuity. The evening went extremely well with happy friends.

“Buck Hill ski pub. Perfect spot for an afternoon lunch after skiing. The pretzel is huge. I loved the chicken and wild rice soup. Reuben was tasty with lots of dressing! Plenty of space inside and outside on the deck to enjoy watching the right side of the hill.“

“I love coming to Cowboy Jacks in Apple Valley! The staff is amazing and I love the food and happy hour specials. I also want to give a shout out to one of the managers, Calvin who intervened when he saw a man at the bar harassing me. I didn’t even have to ask him, but he could tell I was uncomfortable and asked the man to leave.
