“Surprisingly great food! We visit Buck Hill every Wednesday in the summer for Weekly Wheels. It's a great time by itself but the experience is enhanced by the food at Buck 54!

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! Shout out to Michael our server - he always goes above and beyond (I somehow always end up in his section 😂 and he is fantastic!)“

“We had a wedding reception dinner here last Saturday and I would highly recommend it. Mike was so helpful the last month answering all my questions and getting everything I needed to make our night perfect. Everyone was ranting and raving on how good the food was! Our bartender Kyle C. was awesome! He was busing tables and serving drinks like a champ. He even found me the last Busch light in the bar and saved it for me. Our night could have not been more perfect thanks to the hard working staff here. Best of all it worked great with our budget! All I want to say I was hnagry and y’all forgot my garlic bread with my spaghetti and meatballs, live y’all but dang no garlic bread how advertised? I actually wasn’t planning to sit down on the bar because my boarding to my flight to Europe was up in 30 minutes but his positivity and energy convinced me to have one beer. “We were staying at the Doubletree by Hilton near the airport and Mall of America and we went to the hotel bar and SHAWN was the bartender. He was covering the entire bar and the entire restaurant and was also getting room service orders that he had to handle all by himself. Apparently, they were short staffed. He was so polite to everybody and did a great job keeping up on people‘s drinks and food orders and that guy deserves a raise! Our food was very good and so were the drinks.“

“While the food was good, service needs improvement. I had the Potato Skins which were very good. My husband had the Ruben. He asked for fries and got waffle fries. Was never offered seasoned sour cream, while my cousin ordered fries, got crinkle cut fries and was offered seasoned sour cream. My husband said the Ruben was good but could have used a little more dressing. Not once were our water glasses refilled or was the offer made to have them refilled.“

“I think this is one of the best steakhouses around. The food is always delicious and appealing. The wait staff are well trained and know the menu so are able to answer specific questions about food options. It's a little pricey, but it's always a fun place to visit for a special event.“
