“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“I hosted a welcome drinks event for ~80 guests at Norseman the night before my wedding and was incredibly impressed by the quality of the service, drinks, and overall atmosphere. We had originally reserved the outdoor patio space, but unexpected sideways rain forced us indoors. The staff at Norseman was exceptionally gracious and accommodating and helped us transition inside, which we all greatly appreciated.

Our guests had a wonderful time, and many commented on how much they enjoyed the DJ and the overall experience. I would highly recommend Norseman for any private event, and I'm confident both my husband and I (and many of our guests!) will be back in the future.“

“They have great food with tons of vegan options and a wonderful patio! Today I ordered my favorite dish a roti wrap and it accidentally came with chicken instead of the vegan chickpea version. That’s never happened to me there before. They felt really bad about it and made me a new one and comped my meal and that of my friend. That is above and beyond an excellent customer service. “I, quite literally, had the best meal of my life here! We shared the samosas, grilled scallops, grilled salmon, butter chicken, and a ginger chaitini. The flavor in these dishes was something I have never experienced at any other restaurant. They genuinely have a menu that caters to everyone’s likes and tastes. The service was wonderful and the owner was incredibly kind and eager to share his passion with us. I will 100000% be coming back and I highly recommend you go as well!“

The food was fresh, delicious, and attractive, and portion sizes were ample - we left full, but without leftovers. Food prices are very reasonable; drink prices vary, and some are higher than others depending upon the spirits. The atmosphere is lively, and was a bit loud at the busiest time. I recommend Stargazer for couples and friends, and we will visit again! P. S. The bathrooms are a fun surprise!“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

The Waiter, a young guy with a beard who moved to Mn from California with his wife, was very efficient and professional. “While staying at the Marquette Hotel, we ordered a quick meal for pickup, and everything was delicious.

For starters, I showed up probably 10 minutes early for my pickup time, and they were ready. Definitely seems like their kitchen operates quickly!

We got the Ghost Pepper rubbed chicken wings and the Bibimbap bowl. I'm always skeptical that something advertising ghost pepper will only be a little spicy, and it's just an advertising gimmick. But these wings packed a really nice kick. The bibimbap was a nice combination of balanced flavors as well, for a really satisfying meal.

The mushroom fettuccini was very good, with a few greens in the middle to offset the rich earthiness.

The jerk chicken was flavorful and tender. It came with a vinegary cucumber salad that was also tasty. The smashed yucca was maybe the best yucca I've ever had. It had a citrusy sauce in it that balanced the salty starchiness. Wonderful!

The cocktails were great too, and the patio seating has a great view of the river on a nice day. All in all, superb!“
