“This place is 10/10 and the people are 20/10! I was there last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday and they went above and beyond with helping me pull off the surprise. When some of the balloons I had floated off, they got a ladder to get them for me. I brought a cake with me, and they provided plates and cutlery for us which I did not expect!! Everyone was absolutely incredible and I’m so grateful for all they did. THANK YOU.The drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful. “My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“

We had tried some of everything on the cocktail menu and were absolutely impressed with the quality and the taste of all of it. Highly recommend stopping by for some drinks. We also enjoyed the cauliflower and the chopped cheese, both of which were delicious and warranted their own visit should the craving arise. “The family went for their first Easter Bunny Brunch and Egg Hunt, and the experience was amazing. We had some crepes and other snack bread at the brunch while we waited and the colored on provided Easter sheets and played board games. Then the egg hunt was on!!! Afterwards, the Easter Bunny made an appearance for pictures. In all, it was a blast. Staff was great, especially the host though I didn't catch their name. Food was great. “We hosted our company holiday party at Steady Pour and it was the PERFECT spot for food, drinks and socializing. The space is both charming and intimate. The food was delicious with great coordination of amount and crowd pleasing bites. The staff was super easy to work with in planning as well as hospitable and friendly throughout the evening of the event. I heard nothing but rave reviews from coworkers about Steady Pour and many exclaimed “I’m for sure coming back here!” I would strongly recommend Steady Pour to anybody looking for both an event space and/or an evening out.“
“My wife and I went to Jasmine 26 on a whim and we could not be happier with our decision. The staff is amazing and the food was wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had so much fun creating our hot pots and enjoying all the restaurant had to offer.We brought our 3 teenage boys the following week and they all loved it as well.My wife loved the lamb. My seafood loving son really enjoyed the shrimp and scallops. I really enjoyed all the veggies and mushrooms and how they took on the flavor of the soup. We will definitely be back.“

My friends said the steak taco was not very good (not super flavorful). The Paloma was delicious and served in a cool tiki cup but a little small. The burritos were giant and good. Be careful because the hot salsa is very spicy according to my friends. Parking can be a headache (some street parking after 6pm or 3 small spots reserved for Nico’s off street). “Came to Char Bar for the first time for happy hour on Saturday with Kim T. Char Bar is a speakeasy on the inside of Butcher & Boar (through the glass doors). We arrived around 4:45 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too crazy busy, we were one of a handful of tables. The hour menu was pretty good! A good amount of food and drink items ranging between $6-10. I had the Chicken Sammy ($10), Kim had an Arby's style 3 Way Beef & Cheese sando ($17), and we split the Curly Fries ($6). I also ordered two of the non happy hour burgers to go ($8/each). I really liked my sandwich a lot, chicken was perfectly crispy, the slaw was savory and sweet, Polynesian vibes. I would absolutely get it again! Kim liked her sandwich but she said the sauce was too much and soaked the bottom of the bun, the curly fries were fine. I had a dragon tattoo cocktail, serenity pineapple rum cocktail, and a frozen rum & cherry coke slushy. Drinks were boozy but pricey! Loved the menu showing the drinks very cute and visibly pleasing. Update: Butcher Burger ($8) was sensational! It's no Parlour Bar burger but it's sooo good, tasted gourmet and traveled well. Fun fact: the restaurant group over Parlour Bar also owns Char Bar! I liked the pickled onions and the chipotle mayo cheese sauce, good solid burger for a good price!“
“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and presented authentic Japanese tastes and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed her table setting was set up to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kado No Mise provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“

“Volstead's is a fun place with great drinks, great music, and delicious food. However, the entree portions are very small for the price. The market fish entree for $22 included maybe 4oz of fish and maybe a quarter cup of rice pilaf. The cornbread for $14 was about 7 inches in diameter. The server was slow to refill waters and run food. Go for drinks and the music, but eat dinner first.“

“Great food hall in the North Loop. It can be crazy busy, especially on Twins game days, but our recent stop was on a Thursday afternoon with no immediate events nearby. Plenty of spaces to sit. They indoor and outdoor seating, with gas firepits outside on a patio, as well as a rooftop deck. Choose foods from the (currently) 5 food vendors, 1 coffee shop, 1 ice cream shop, 1 bar, and then choose a spot to sit. Staff in each of the spots are really friendly and helpful. The guys at Two Mixed Up happily explained their menu options and offered suggestions. The bartender at Libabtion Lounge was also great, and told me I could bring my drink back up for something else if i didn't like it. (Sangria. I DID like it!). Husband and I ordered at Two Mixed Up. We both had Just a Burger and it was delicious! Also ordered one chocolate chip cookie, which was massive and totally shareable! It's just a great place to hang out and enjoy some friend time.“

“This local "dive bar",checks all the boxes. A nice mix of standard beers, craft beer, and beer from a bygone era (Old Style on tap). Short menu (small grill next to the bar) but the sausage patty burgers are the best. And don't forget the potato salad. “okay so overall the food was delicious. i got the burrito and it was solid. no real complaints there. the yuca fries also delicious and not too greasy, perfectly crispy. the guac was so fresh and so were the salsas. my only complaint was the guava margarita. mind you i’ve been craving a guava margarita for MONTHS now so my hopes were high. but this one really missed the mark for me. it wasn’t guava-y enough and generally just tasted kinda watered down. (though you can note in my photo that i did drink all of it so it wasn’t unbearable—but truly who can say no to a margarita) it just needed something to take it up a notch.overall a great choice and they were super accommodating for our large group and the service was so speedy.“

“We stopped in for brunch. The hours, even on the weekend, for brunch are 8-11. You could definitely tell that the restaurant was very very new. Lots of questions from the staff to the manager on the menu (which only has 6 items), questions on what glassware to use, etc. The inside is super cute and bright on the corner of Lake and Excelsior. There are a few reserved restaurant spots in the garage. We started with bloody Mary's. There were two mix choices, dill and smoky jalapeño. We ordered one of each and they were served with garnishes of a lime and an olive. The dill definitely held that taste and I thought it was great. The smoky jalapeño I'm told tasted like normal mix. There was no baby beer served with it which is something I've come to expect with a bloody in Minnesota so was a little disappointing. We both got the steak burrito which was served with a side salad and a salsa. The dressing on the salad was great! The ingredients in the burrito were also very nice but not very evenly dispersed. I love burritos though and would order it again. We split a side of potatoes which weren't needed. They were good but the burrito was full of potatoes. A few training kinks to work out but a great location and food was both reasonable and delicious.“

The French Fries are addictive. The only bummer was the limited menu. Everything we had was great. We would have loved more food offerings.
