“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“This place is the “Cheers” of Lake Nokomis. The owners, Dennis and Mary, make you feel like family and remember everyone’s favorite drinks. The coffee, Nordic waffles, and Greek Chicken wrap, are personal favorites. Pastry choices include Kouign Ammans and chocolate croissants, also favorites. Every morning you’ll see the same group of retired guys, the baby play group, the old friends getting together, a few work meetings, and a couple of first dates. I love this place.“

“I had a caramel latte hot, and I loved how authentic and good it tasted. It didn’t taste completely sugared up and the artwork on it was cute and reminded me of my husband.
My husband got some type of coffee. I don’t remember what it was but he said it was really good. The vibe was so nice and calm. It’s a little annoying to find, but eventually we found it.“

“I LOVE THIS PLACE. You know how sometimes you walk into a cute coffee shop and the coffee tastes good but the staff are kinda standoffish and seem annoyed if you ask a question about the menu? Never so at Easy Day. Everyone there is really friendly, you can tell they like their jobs, their customers, and the neighborhood. The vibe is really welcoming. Special place. I love it here. “This is such a cute café that combines coffee and Asian culture. They carry some of the cutest stationery, Korean beauty products (e.g. Torriden, Anua, Aestura, Round Lab), yummy Asian snacks, blind boxes, plushies, and even kitchenware. I was obsessed with the stickers! I was surprised at how pricey they were about $5–6 per sheet and $4–6 for individual ones, but I still bought one because I couldn’t help it, hehe.

I visited during an event, and parking wasn’t difficult. There’s paid street parking right in front of the store and around the neighborhood. There’s plenty of seating, both at tables and by the window. I didn’t have to wait long for my order. I also loved that they offer unsweetened matcha latte, which I don’t usually see at other cafés.“

“The customer service is outstanding! We appreciate that they acknowledge and recognize us when we walk in. The pastries are amazing. Chocolate donuts, almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, butter croissants are all delicious! In nice weather we are able to walk there. In the cold snowy weather parking can be an issue, but we always manage. I had 1 issue with my coffee once and the staff person quickly fixed it and was very kind and helpful, as they always are! Since we are typically there in the morning, I have not tried the dumplings yet, but I imagine they are also very good.“

I tried the limited time tiramisu latte and it was honestly orgasmic. If I lived closer I would probably be here daily. Also, purchased donuts for the kiddos and a scone for the husband, everyone was pleased with their pastries.“

Although I went here with a few friends I would enjoy going here to get some work done as well. The service was very quick and the people were very friendly which was a nice bonus. I ended up getting the regular latte which was pretty good as well as the chocolate chip cookie which was decent. My favorite part was the cup of seasonal drip coffee I got at the end which had a really nice flavor for those who like black coffee. Overall a really nice spot I just wish the location was a little bit easier to get access without a car. I almost forget to mention, there’s a ping pong table!“

Everyone was pleasant and chatty, it seemed like a great place to work.

The espresso was nice and dark with cocoa and caramel notes. Their menu had a very workhorse vibe, nothing too novel or frivolous, just solid coffee.

“I can't say enough good things about the Roastery. When you have a passion for what you do, it shows in your work and the folks who run this business care deeply about coffee. The two pounds of beans I bought from the Roastery make for a sublime coffee drinking experience. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for here, quality. I am not a dark roast fan (usually) so I can't speak to those roasts but the Roastery's Papua New Guinea and Ecuadorian light roasts are perfection.“
