“Loved this spot! It's good for light lunches and dinners. They food was very good, I had the special, which was super yummy! They can accommodate kids and people with disabilities, there is a wheelchair accessible restroom. Their patio is very decent sized. I think the indoor space isn't as large, so something to consider when it isn't nice out. They have beer, wine and cocktails.“

“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“This place is not inexpensive; but the food is worth every single penny. It’s unique, it’s vegan, it’s delicious, and it’s healthy. The atmosphere is very comfortable. (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. Every taste was Yum Yum Yum Yum.). a lot of times when I go out to eat I think; I could’ve saved money and just ate at home. However, I truly felt my money was well spent! The food was fresh. Very tasty. The arugula salad was phenomenal, even though it was very simple. I need to come back here way more often. Thank you very much for your dedication to healthy, tasty, vegan food. “I just stopped in to Mosaic coffee shop after passing it many times. I was very pleasently surprised by it. The interior is cozy and inviting. There were a lot of small groups and I would have loved to stay but it was a bit full (Sunday mid-morning). I would love to come back, claim a spot to myself, and try some of the cafes vegan pastries! They had a wide selection including savory vegan treats (I feel like I don't see vegan savory pastries often!)“

“Easy Day Cafe is absolutely, ever since it opened about a year ago, my favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities. I love the coffee, the vibe, the location and really everything about this place. The owners -Peter and Stephanie - often work there alongside their staff and they will know your name and maybe even your regular order after you go there two or three times. The staff - Vivian, Reagan, and everyone else, are also absolutely amazing - they are super nice and friendly and will make you feel right at home. And if you're the running type, the running club on Sundays is a fantastic way to spend Sunday mornings, going for a nice run and then having a delicious coffee and pastry. Ten out of ten I absolutely recommend!“

“We stopped by on Friday late morning and had the best experience! The gentleman working there saw us struggling and was incredibly helpful in narrowing down selections for us and really nailed it!! We LOVED what we ordered. He was incredibly personable, helpful, kind, and genuinely fun to interact with. He made sure everyone got their tasty drinks in a timely manner.

This morning was a completely different story. Two girls at the counter, barely speaking above a whisper making it difficult all around. They both looked apathetic and just seemed genuinely bothered. We ordered our drinks before a crowd came in and rather than making our drinks when we ordered them they served the three large groups first. They never called out the name of my drink only my husband's. Actually, I watched them slide my drink to another customer who ordered the same thing then conveniently forgot to make another. When I asked about it they placed all the blame on the previous customer who had now left and were not even a little bit apologetic. To go from amazing service to trash service.... Ownership should look into it.“

“The Boiler Room is my go to neighborhood coffee shop. I’ve lived in the area for nine years. The staff is always kind, helpful and inclusive. The coffee is fantastic, I can’t get enough of their Thai iced coffee, and the foods always good. If you need a pick me up or a chill place to meet with friends, this is your spot.“

“The customer service is outstanding! We appreciate that they acknowledge and recognize us when we walk in. The pastries are amazing. Chocolate donuts, almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, butter croissants are all delicious! In nice weather we are able to walk there. In the cold snowy weather parking can be an issue, but we always manage. I had 1 issue with my coffee once and the staff person quickly fixed it and was very kind and helpful, as they always are! Since we are typically there in the morning, I have not tried the dumplings yet, but I imagine they are also very good.“

“My sparkling tea was very flavorful. The vanilla mint syrup isn't sweetened. The drink was not sweet which is nice but I would add sweetener next time. The chocolate croissant was huge, flaky, and substantial.

I brought my dogs on the patio, dogs need to stay outside to order but you can submit an online order to limit the time you leave them. The patio is in full sun. There's shaded grassy areas on either side but no seating there. I ended up going to Bauhaus to finish eating in their taproom to escape the heat.“

“Better baristas? Never heard of them. Every single person behind the bar is like sunshine in human form fr. And it only gets better, the coffee, the matcha…AMAZING! Every time I walk in and see Annika I just know I’m about to have the BEST cup of coffee. The MVB? I’d have a gallon of that every day if I could. The hola empanada is another go-to for me, it’s so delicious sometimes I just think about it while I’m working and seriously contemplating getting one nearly every day.

I mostly get my coffee to go, but the vibe is always chill and the restrooms are really nice and well maintained. The employees are fantastic and just make the experience super welcoming!“

“I've been a regular customer at Nokomis Beach Coffee for 26 years, often stopping in twice a day for espresso or iced tea. The atmosphere is relaxed, the coffee is great, but it's the people who own the place and their employees who keep me coming back. Owners Dennis and Mary have had some great baristas over the years, but current employees Esme, Lexie, and Amelia are among my all-time favorites. They're outgoing, efficient, and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood.“
