“We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building“
“This adorable cafe blends in so well with the neighborhood I almost missed it. So glad I didn’t, though! The space is clean and tidy and there are a few tables to sit and enjoy a beverage. When it got busier, staff brought out additional seating to accommodate. I enjoyed my chai tea latte and the message on the milk foam added a fun little twist. Street parking only, but it wasn’t too hard to find a spot. Would visit again and definitely worth the trip!“
“I ordered a king cake to take in to work- without a doubt the best one I’ve had, it melts in your mouth! The staff was exceptionally friendly and offered an extra cup of frosting. Great environment if you’re just looking for a place in Minneapolis to sit down with a cup of coffee and a treat too!“
“I feel so blessed to have this gem of a coffee shop in my neighborhood! The Pork Cutie is one of my favorite sandwiches on earth, I'm deadly serious. They're always playing great music, the staff is friendly, and every detail is intentional and unique - what more could you ask for?“
“Heather's in Minneapolis is a favorite. It's that neighborhood joint everyone wants with great burgers, sandwiches, and salads, a great kids menu and twisty soft serve or cookies to keep the wee beings happy. But also that cozy date night spot with amazing daily specials and lovely grown up desserts on the patio. In practice, we usually order delivery (via Toast) and there's always a little tension between a dinner order (because THOSE SPECIALS!) or weekend brunch. We were able to do both today because they offered their daily special as part of their holiday brunch menu: lemon blueberry pancakes AND the ham special with asparagus and cheesy potatoes were both just amazing. ?Ordered pastries for week day breakfasts while I was at it but the delivery person missed the second bag or something. They made it right immediately - barely hung up the phone before the doorbell rang and a smiling, kind Heather's staffer was on my porch with a bag full of goodies. They just do EVERYTHING right.“
“Stopped in to Cosmic Coffee the other morning on a whim, and believe I just may have found my new favorite coffee shop in NE. Cosmic Coffee feels like an old school coffee shop, the ones that were about people connecting with people. Actual real live PEOPLE!!! Not only was the coffee delicious- expertly prepared by Dusty-but it was so refreshing to be around people laughing, conversing and connecting not just working away on laptops. If you want a great cup of coffee in a cozy, warm space of brick, wood and eclectic decor that does not feel like a sterile white hipster tech haven, please please give Cosmic a visit! And I recommend a lavender mocha!!“
“First time going and I received the wrong sandwich. I asked twice what it was but I couldn’t remember everything in the sandwich I actually ordered so it’s on me for not getting the correct one. All in all, food was good and so was the coffee. Fast service, good food, and friendly faces made the experience worth going back again!“
“The tea was amazing, it was very nice to have tea with my parents and have a conversation. The prices were a bit high for tea, but I think the overall experience of it and quality of tea is definitely worth it if you enjoy tea. The Ambiance was okay, I did go during a weekend so it was busy. Highly recommend going during a weekday if you want a little more less chaos, peace, and quiet. I will say the customer service was okay too, I'm definitely NOT a tea expert and it was my first time here, so I wasn't sure what to order or how to. When I told the employee about this, they didn't really help me understand how their tea system/menu works and what tea is best for certain situations or taste and health benefits. So we were kinda just forced to guess on one and hope it was good, which luckily it was.“
“Wow. What a great experience. Our server Priscilla was amazing. She turned around what could have been a disappointing evening due to a longer than normal wait for our food by offering incredible service which is increasingly rare. The creme brulee was the life-changing. So good.“
“Found this little gem this morning with a friend and I think it’s my new go-to coffee shop with other moms when we have to bring our kiddos! As a mom of a toddler, it can be really hard to expect my son to stay sitting while I try to enjoy a coffee with a friend but this place has incredible coffee and food, incredible customer service, and an amazing play area to let the kiddos roam while you enjoy time with a friend!! Absolutely will be returning!“
“Such good ice cream. It made my mouth orgasm. It was awkward because everyone around me was wondering why I was moaning so much while eating my ice dream. Then I sneezed and shot ice cream out my nose. That is how you orgasm out of your face.“
“Some of their menu items are misleading. The photo shows boba but doesn't include it. When I brought this up I was told that the photo doesn't exactly represent the drink. That doesn't even make sense? That's what photos are for. So after driving to Dinky Town to try Bober Tea I will say it makes me not want to come back. The donuts on the other hand were amazing and fresh. They were warm, slightly crisp on the outside and so soft on the inside with lots of flavor. Just a warning to ask about your drink beforehand otherwise you'll end up with something you didn't want.“
“My daughter and I stopped in with no reservation while it was pretty busy and were seated right away. Our waitress was awesome and the service was fast. I got the Pork Belly & Biscuit- very delicious! My daughter got the Chicken Biscuit and she loved it! She isn’t a fan of honey but loved the hot honey that came with her dish ( she had it on the side to make sure she would like it). I was also impressed the coffee drink selection. Such great varieties! I had the Pistachio Cardamom which was so delicious. Also ordered the March special to go which was the Lucky Green Dream Latte- very delicious as well! Definitely stopping again when we are back in the area!“
“I have been exploring Roseville and St Paul as I'll be relocating there soon. Man was I happy to run into this place. For me this is how a coffee shop should be. Dark wood, cozy eclectic vibe, supporting the local community, a good variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, toss in some fresh baked goods and snacks if you need them and you have a great place for good conversations, reading a book, or just sitting in the corner alone like me and enjoying the moment.Parking: Extra large parking lot. No problems there.“
“My favorite neighborhood ice cream shop! They serve Chocolate Shoppe ice cream from Wisconsin and it is the perfect creamy-but-not-too-fatty tasting ice cream. The flavors switch out a lot so there is variety, but my favorite (The S#$t Just Got Serious) is always there. The owner and team are friendly and I always leave smiling!“
“Fawkes Alley is a delightful coffee shop. My favorite drink is the Lab Latte--iced lavender latte with honey cold foam. The two young men who work Saturdays are incredibly friendly and personable. My go-to weekend coffee spot before or after a walk through Loring Park :)“
“I did not think this “shack” would be my go-to coffee shop. But, holy cow - it’s the BEST! I can walk to two Caribous and a Starbucks, but I prefer to get on the highway just for a coffee from Mudslingers. Something about the espresso there just doesn’t even compare to other places, even some of the more hipster and bougie coffee shops. I’m utterly impressed. Keep doing what you’re doing.“
“Kruse Market is wonderful! We enjoyed the Rainbow Bowl, What’s Wrong with Basic toast, Masala Chai Tea, and Blueberry Hills coffee. All were fantastic! A friend ordered the G.O.A.T. toast (on gluten-free bread) and let me take a nibble - divine! The retail side had a ton of great merch (those basil olives!!! *chef’s kiss!*) that we also stocked up on. And my family was pleasantly surprised to be the recipients of fresh takeout pastries and some Milkjam ice cream! We had such a fantastic time! There are ample outlets for the remote worker, and enough choices to satisfy all kinds of palates and dietary needs. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!“
“My family and I recently went to luminary and loved the place! It is cozy and we liked the theme. We tried several pastries (cinamon swirl, chocolate raspberry cone, and a chocolate croissant) and they were all delicious. We also all loved the coffee we got! It has been hard to find a spot with good coffee as of late and this spot was definitely one to save with great drinks and a great experience. The only con is there isn't a ton of seating and the place, seeing as it is so good, gets busy.“
“ordered online on way there last minute on drive from out of town to a destination far away ?⛄ sure beats fast food quality a little more expensive expected because vegetarian/vegan but it was really good food okay? that's how I'm justifying it,and i wanna support places like this with quality customers the kind you want to hug because they're so nice and friendly. oh on the phone the girl i was talking to was very knowledgeable about the menu with great suggestions for my and my friend on a trip ya know how girls take awhile to decide sometimes? well this worked great ??? was able to get order in before we even got there and was practically no wait because of our good timing 30min away when picking up our order the restaurant wasn't cram packed so you could still get a table but was definitely full of hungry people in the know about the quality veggiefoods and the atmosphere was nice people like a bar ? where they know your name and share their stories over a delicious ?? ? snack (cheers) anyways I'll have to return soon before they run out of my favorite ?❤️Vegetarian options: they have burgers fries salads Tacos a whole lot more with fun namesDietary restrictions: okay so they're really good at vegan options and dietary restriction just ask or let em know and they'll have a yummy solution for your hunger ❤️Parking: spots were loaded but i still found a space for a shortstop and then opened it back up in 15m or less just grabbed my food and went but i know parking ?️ within walking distance was there i just wanted to be as close as possible since was picking up only... probably 3 ? pickup drop off spots front side and then parking around back or sidesteet people being polite to leave the closest ones for the people being there the shortest time is really nice ?? and everyone staying longer to really enjoy taking a "brutally mild"? walk to the door from the better parking in back ? some have a hard time going as far as the mailbox is what i mean but anyways yes there's parking“
“Love this place. Great spaces to sit or work, busy (people talking and engaging) but not crazy. Very community-spirited and great service. Coffee and food selection was wonderful. Would love to try in the summer when the place is more open and dog-friendly too.“
“A new favorite of mine. The bun vermicelli noodle salads are so good. I've tried the chicken teriyaki and grilled pork and they're both delicious. Love all the drinks...I had the brown sugar milk tea with boba, and they have non-dairy options too, like oat milk. Of course the croissants and baked goods are amazing! Will be going back regularly. Oh and the bulgogi beef kimchi fries! Fantastic!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free drink optionsKid-friendliness: Lots of space, variety of seating options, very kids and family friendly.“
“Cool coffee shop. Huge seating area with plenty of comfy chairs and couches to enjoy your food or coffee. Old fashion style donut was really good, highly recommend. Cold brew was solid as well. Baristas were friendly and service was very fast. Definitely recommend this place for a good spot to read, study, work, whatever you need. There is no parking available and you’ll need to find street parking if visiting.“
“I had such a serene experience here on Easter! The soothing music, the flow of the fish tank, and seeing people actually interact with one another created a tranquil atmosphere. Though the menu was a bit overwhelming in its design, our tea barista was incredibly kind and she provided helpful explanations every step of the way. We felt attentively listened to. I would definitely recommend this place“
“I was feeling adventurous so I ordered the Bluebeards Ghost and It was glorious! Slightly salty, a little spicy, and the Vanilla brought a subtle sweetness. I ordered it a second time and added sugar and totally ruined my drink, don't be like me ?Kid-friendliness: My daughter always gets a vanilla steamer when we come here. It makes her feel like a big girl which is pretty cute.“
“This was by far the best coffee shop experience I have ever had. I'm not much of a coffee drinker. The staff was patient and fantastic at their recommendation. It was so delicious I had to go back every day while I was visiting. The space was quite comfortable to sit and chat with my friend. Highly recommend the Busy Beaver - tastes like a graham cracker.Dietary restrictions: Lactose intolerance“
“I love Rafiki! The owners are so welcoming and intentional about knowing their customers. They remembered my name after the first time they met me even with weeks apart from my second visit! Great large room for bigger meetings and small tables for individual workspace. Unique food & drink options that are similar to what you can find at any coffee shop along with their own unique spin on drinks as well. Try the African tea, it’s delicious and well spiced!Parking: There is a free lot adjacent to the space, but is shared with other businesses so at times it can be difficult to find street parking that is close enough.“
“What a gem! The coffee is great and the record selection is unbelievable. I found two holy grail records for very fair prices for how good they sound, plus a lot of other great stuff. The barista was friendly and helpful, guiding me in choosing a delicious latte. The Satanic theme is great, just enough to freak out the normal folk.Parking: Plenty of spaces within a block.“
“This place is so welcoming and great service ! Everytime I go there I plan on just a shake. But as I chat with Jami she is so loving and caring...I can't leave without their yummy bagels and then they seem to.have something new..like those cute lil adorable pies so yup couple of those too.Everything i have had there was so good and don't feel guilty for its packed with protein. So if you have never checked this place out give it a try.I Promise you won't regret and no matter who is working you will feel a very warm welcome ? !There are still are many things I want to try.The menu us huge!Parking: Right in front of front door!Kid-friendliness: I have seen many kids activities there offered.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm sure anyone with wheelchair ♿️ would have plenty of room. Also handicap ♿️ parking in lot.“
“The iced americano was excellent; their espresso is very good! This morning was my first breakfast sandwich, and it won't be my last. Brioche hamburger sized bun with egg and choice of cheese. Add ons include Dijonaise and Giardiniera as well as Ham. My ham, egg, American cheese, and dijonaise was awesome; not greasy at all! They take a couple of minutes to make fresh, but worth the wait.“
“I wish everything up on the hill were as perfect as Nina's. On a weekday morning this place is packed with people from all walks of life. A lot of students park here and take up tables just with them and their laptops which is my only gripe. Prices are reasonable. Be prepared to wait a bit for drinks because it is very popular.“
“My boyfriend and I decided to check out a new coffee shop, and we came across Cuppa Java on Google Maps. When we first entered the building, I immediately loved the vibe, and there are many cozy corners with plenty of outfits to get some work done. The employees were extremely friendly, and I ordered and ate one of the best bagels I've ever had. There is a gender neutral bathroom with ADA accessibility which I highly appreciated.I will definitely be coming back!“
“I stopped by last Saturday, and I got a scone and a Cranes in the Sky iced coffee, and the combination was AMAZING! The prices were very reasonable for the hand-crafted beverage and pastry! I also loved the ambiance of the coffee shop, the outdoor patio, and the clothing selection! I will definitely come back!“
“Love their coffee & matcha! Have been to this location many times & the staff is always so friendly. Unfortunately that is a rare occurrence at some of the twin cities coffee shops ? Had a good time chatting with the employee working! Thank you SK!“
“This place has it all, amazing food (give the quiche a try, you won’t be disappointed) the owner was very funny and easy to talk to and the other patrons were delightful to talk to as well. I highly recommend this place and will continue coming back!“
“the coffee is amazing and they make the most interesting drink combinations for their seasonal drinks. I never thought peaches and coffee would go well together but it's delicious. they also make adorable latte art and are very involved in neighborhood events!“
“What a treat! Cafe Astoria offers an exquisite blend of immaculate vibes, tasty food, and unique beverages, both hot and cold. I highly recommend the Athena Omelet Wrap and Mexican Mocha. Seating was surprisingly ample! We were expecting to have to wait on a Saturday morning, but their spacious interior and friendly staff made for a very smooth and pleasant experience. Hope to be back!“
“Wildflyer is a shop with a vision - "to end youth homelessness". The shop is nice, they teach skills beyond just making coffee, the coffee and snacks are really good. Living out of that neighborhood, I hadn't found the ship before, but now that I have, I'll be back often.“
“We’re no stranger to Cardigan. They catered 200 DELICIOUS donuts for our wedding! These guys are the real deal.Amazing donut delivery service! Ordering system is fantastic - you can pick flavors to gift or have them select (or a combo!) I’ve sent them as little surprise gifts to so many people over the years - just to perk up someone’s day. You can include a free message. I hope they never change and I wish them many years of continued success!“
“We had a birthday party there last night and all the kids had a blast. The staff was awesome. Before we even left, many of the kids were asking about going back. I forgot to get a picture of them to post, unfortunately. It was a huge hit and a great alternative to the same old birthday destinations.“
“This Wildflyer Coffee store offers a satisfying range of quality brews in a great ambiance. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. While the selection could be slightly broader, the overall experience is delightful, earning it a solid five stars.Dietary restrictions: Good selectionsParking: Decent parking adjacent to the store and play street side parkingWheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair access“
“Ok what a cool little coffee shop in NE. It’s a very minimalist concept but the vibes were ?. I’m normally a big light person and it got a bit dark in here in the afternoon, but it was fitting for the atmosphere of this place so I didn’t mind too much. The music is played from records so the barista was changing out the albums the whole time.My matcha was really good. It came to like $9 so not super cheap, but I do enjoy a good homemade drink :)Metered street parking around unless you walk across the bridge for the free parking in the neighborhood.“
“This coffee is some of the best in Minneapolis, and the croissants are to DIE for. The atmosphere is so cool-- skater merch, art everywhere, just excellent!! The staff is also very nice and the service is great. I love this place so much <3“
“I stopped in today and ordered two Poke bowls and slushy. The whole experience was great. Quick service, great quality, friendly staff, very clean and cute decor. We will certainly be coming back ALOT!!! Also I highly recommend the kiwi cheese slushy.“
“Dan the owner is Dan the man.Personally place key West in my top 5 coffee spots in Minneapolis, and second for sandwiches only beaten out by my nostalgic love for caffreys sandwiches.Great place to stop if you are nearby and need food or coffee. Definitely also would recommend going out of the way to stop in as well.“
“Cute little coffee shop! My matcha latte was so smooth. I had it with homemade vanilla. I love when places use homemade syrups. We stayed and worked on our laptops for awhile and felt welcome the whole time.Free WiFi, enough tables and outlets for working on things, games people can play, street parking, and friendly service. It’s also right across from Patina so you can do some shopping afterwards :)“
“Nestled in the heart of Midway, Workhorse Coffee Bar proved to be a hidden gem awaiting discovery. My daughter and I stumbled upon this quaint establishment on a crisp morning, seeking respite from the bustling streets outside. What we found exceeded our expectations and left us longing for more.Upon entering, we were greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting warmth of the cozy interior. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of modern chic and rustic charm, with exposed brick walls adorned with local artwork, complemented by the soft glow of pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. As we approached the counter, we were met with friendly smiles from the baristas, whose passion for their craft was evident in every cup they served. After perusing the menu, we decided to indulge in some breakfast bites to accompany our coffee. The selection was diverse, featuring both sweet and savory options crafted with care using locally sourced ingredients.I opted for the chocolate cookie, a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor. My daughter grabbed a gluten free cookie that made her smile light up the room.Workhorse Coffee Bar is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a haven of warmth, community, and culinary delight. Whether you're seeking a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely breakfast bite with loved ones, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Workhorse Coffee Bar. You won't be disappointed.“
“This place is tucked away near United Hospital between 5th and 7th in StP. Since my partner doesn't care for breakfast food for breakfast, the diversity of LA Fusion's menu was perfect for him. Their full menu was available at 9am.Samosas, Kenyan bowls, crepes, burgers, salads, smoothies, quesadillas, lattes, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes oh my!ordered the beef samosas. My partner ordered the chicken quesadillas. Both came out within minutes.Three crispy samosas with a jerk dipping sauce (you have a choice of several different options)YUM! Well stuffed full of beef with a perfect crunch. The quesadilla was huge. He could only finish half and took the rest home for lunch.Very clean place. Huge drink menu. This was our second time visiting and look forward to exploring more of the menu.Parking: The paid lot has spaces designated for LA Fusion at no charge.“
“This is a great coffee shop. They always give you the extra shot of espresso in your lattes (the best) and they have a nice loyalty program for every 10 coffees you buy. They are also really involved in the community which is cool and they have things for families to join in on regularly. Me and my dog walk up here every Saturday morning for the banana bread and a latte.“
