“We’d just moved to Minneapolis the night before after a three-day road trip from the west coast… traveling with a crying cat and dogs. It was hectic and intense and to arrive into town late and find the house we were staying at wasn’t ready for our arrival. This was the worst first night intro to Minneapolis.

The next morning we decide to google the closest Caribou to us, get some strong coffee me and my husband can sit and plan our next move as a family. Our first day was so bad, we were ready to pack up and head back to the west coast.

Dani, Unique, and the girls at the front register this AM are beyond words amazing. So helpful, so considerate, so fun, energetic, and most importantly ABSOLUTELY the best customer service and attention. I couldn’t believe how under the course of just one morning having such caring and helpful and just genuinely wonderful humanity changed our whole outlook on one city. When we were leaving and they (the staff) genuinely expressed that they love having repeat local customers and hope that we keep coming back, I felt the truth and realness.

And now we will give Minneapolis a chance and we will ALWAYS return to this Caribou. Customers for life.

A true testament to the actual life-changing power of great, sincere, and compassionate customer service.

This story is so much longer and dramatic, but I tried my best to condense it to express just how bad our first day in Minneapolis was and just how wonderful or first morning was BECAUSE of our decision to get Caribou Coffee at this location.

Also, give these girls a raise! Like seriously. Or at least a nice vacation, something to recognize them. I could have easily just kept this story in my heart, but I knew I needed to share it because they deserve all the recognition in the world.“

“This place finally got the decor upgrade that every other Starbucks in the area has had for over a year. I was not expecting curtains! For all the folks who remote work, no need to have a fake backgrounds in your virtual meetings now. Place got boujee.

Baristas are always friendly and there are no other coffee shops with early hours like Starbucks. In fact, think there are no other coffee shops in Brooklyn Center.

“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

All around a good experience. We got coffee at nearby Tact coffee roasters, but next time would probably get one here, I think they use the Tact's beans.“

“I just stopped in to Mosaic coffee shop after passing it many times. I was very pleasently surprised by it. The interior is cozy and inviting. There were a lot of small groups and I would have loved to stay but it was a bit full (Sunday mid-morning). I would love to come back, claim a spot to myself, and try some of the cafes vegan pastries! They had a wide selection including savory vegan treats (I feel like I don't see vegan savory pastries often!)“

“The Boiler Room is my go to neighborhood coffee shop. I’ve lived in the area for nine years. The staff is always kind, helpful and inclusive. The coffee is fantastic, I can’t get enough of their Thai iced coffee, and the foods always good. If you need a pick me up or a chill place to meet with friends, this is your spot.“

“My sparkling tea was very flavorful. The vanilla mint syrup isn't sweetened. The drink was not sweet which is nice but I would add sweetener next time. The chocolate croissant was huge, flaky, and substantial.

I brought my dogs on the patio, dogs need to stay outside to order but you can submit an online order to limit the time you leave them. The patio is in full sun. There's shaded grassy areas on either side but no seating there. I ended up going to Bauhaus to finish eating in their taproom to escape the heat.“

“We stopped by on Friday late morning and had the best experience! The gentleman working there saw us struggling and was incredibly helpful in narrowing down selections for us and really nailed it!! We LOVED what we ordered. He was incredibly personable, helpful, kind, and genuinely fun to interact with. He made sure everyone got their tasty drinks in a timely manner.

This morning was a completely different story. Two girls at the counter, barely speaking above a whisper making it difficult all around. They both looked apathetic and just seemed genuinely bothered. We ordered our drinks before a crowd came in and rather than making our drinks when we ordered them they served the three large groups first. They never called out the name of my drink only my husband's. Actually, I watched them slide my drink to another customer who ordered the same thing then conveniently forgot to make another. When I asked about it they placed all the blame on the previous customer who had now left and were not even a little bit apologetic. To go from amazing service to trash service.... Ownership should look into it.“

“Better baristas? Never heard of them. Every single person behind the bar is like sunshine in human form fr. And it only gets better, the coffee, the matcha…AMAZING! Every time I walk in and see Annika I just know I’m about to have the BEST cup of coffee. The MVB? I’d have a gallon of that every day if I could. The hola empanada is another go-to for me, it’s so delicious sometimes I just think about it while I’m working and seriously contemplating getting one nearly every day.
Anyway, all that to say, Hola always makes my day better, whether it’s a warm smile from Rocio, or Annika’s jokes, I know that not only will my order always be fantastic, but I’ll also leave so happy, and with my day made better! I’ll always come back here🤍“

“The customer service is outstanding! We appreciate that they acknowledge and recognize us when we walk in. The pastries are amazing. Chocolate donuts, almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, butter croissants are all delicious! In nice weather we are able to walk there. In the cold snowy weather parking can be an issue, but we always manage. I had 1 issue with my coffee once and the staff person quickly fixed it and was very kind and helpful, as they always are! Since we are typically there in the morning, I have not tried the dumplings yet, but I imagine they are also very good.“

“This is a place you’ll get hooked on. From the Waygu burger, Salmon Sandwich to their baked goods. I bought a brioche loaf and made the most amazing French toast from it. Very worth a visit for breakfast and lunch!“

“I absolutely love Qamaria Coffee Shop in Blaine. This little gem is such a beautiful addition to the area. From the moment you walk in, the aesthetics stand out. The space is gorgeous, warm, and inviting, with a clean, well-kept feel that makes you want to sit down, slow down, and enjoy every bite and sip.

The service was wonderful as well. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and fast, but what really stood out was the extra care. I ordered cake, and she gave me tips on what to add to it, including honey and condensed milk. She was absolutely right. It took the cake to another level. So good, and completely worth the extra time I’ll need to spend on the treadmill later. No regrets. Not even a crumb’s worth. 😄

The drink menu has a great variety, which makes it fun because there are so many options to try. The drinks we had were delicious, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Even with a good selection and quality items, the service was still quick, which I really appreciated.

Overall, Qamaria is clean, beautiful, welcoming, and delicious. It has that perfect coffee shop feel where you can stop in for something quick or stay a while and enjoy the atmosphere. Between the gorgeous space, great service, tasty drinks, and that cake upgrade recommendation, I will absolutely be back.“

“This place is not inexpensive; but the food is worth every single penny. It’s unique, it’s vegan, it’s delicious, and it’s healthy. The atmosphere is very comfortable. (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. Every taste was Yum Yum Yum Yum.). a lot of times when I go out to eat I think; I could’ve saved money and just ate at home. However, I truly felt my money was well spent! The food was fresh. Very tasty. The arugula salad was phenomenal, even though it was very simple. I need to come back here way more often. Thank you very much for your dedication to healthy, tasty, vegan food. “I've been here many times and really enjoy the coffee, treats and overall vibe. I noticed many reviews note how clean it is in the various seating areas. I didn't experience that in my most recent visit. There are cobwebs in the plants, the floor needs to be swept and the couches had crumbs all over them. I think more attention needs to be paid to general tidying in the cafe seating. People sit there and may clean up but the customers don't work there. Crumbs happen, people leave straw wrappers and coffee leaves rings on side tables. I was sitting there for over an hour and a half, in that time I didn't see a single staff member come out to wipe anything or pickup the tray that was sitting on the trash bin the whole time. I gotta be honest, it gave me the ick. Is there a new automated air freshener being used? There was also an intermittent and overpowering waft of floral scent every once in a while. Didn't go with the coffee house vibe at all. I hope my next visit is better.“
