“I've been here many times and really enjoy the coffee, treats and overall vibe. I noticed many reviews note how clean it is in the various seating areas. I didn't experience that in my most recent visit. There are cobwebs in the plants, the floor needs to be swept and the couches had crumbs all over them. I think more attention needs to be paid to general tidying in the cafe seating. People sit there and may clean up but the customers don't work there. Crumbs happen, people leave straw wrappers and coffee leaves rings on side tables. I was sitting there for over an hour and a half, in that time I didn't see a single staff member come out to wipe anything or pickup the tray that was sitting on the trash bin the whole time. I gotta be honest, it gave me the ick. Is there a new automated air freshener being used? There was also an intermittent and overpowering waft of floral scent every once in a while. Didn't go with the coffee house vibe at all. I hope my next visit is better.“

“I was just introduced to this place and really have enjoyed going there pretty much every day since! I recommend trying their caramel apple drink, hot or cold, with a nice amount of whipped cream on top! (You do have to request the whipped cream specifically, otherwise they don't include it). The hot chocolate is also on point and perfect for right now!“

• I have extreme social anxiety, so I can't relax easily in public spaces but I can relax completely at Caribou!
• It's never too loud there and is the perfect volume, so you can talk easily without straining to hear and it's never too overwhelming!

“Great little coffee shop open on a Saturday morning and attached to the Minneapolis Central library. Eye of the Tiger (dirty chai) was phenomenal and the employees were very friendly. They have seating if you want to stay for a while or are conveniently located if you’d rather grab and go like I did.“

“Overall, this is a nice coffee shop. It’s a little on the small side, but it does have a nice fireplace and the vibe isn’t cozy. Lots of windows so it’s very bright. Probably not a great place to work from because of a lack of outlets. The drinks are incredibly sweet and I usually have to cut it in half if I get anything specialty. Prices have gotten pretty expensive, too. Overall, their regular coffees are quite good.“

“When I moved to an apartment nearby (7/2024), I’d walk on the Skywalk several times a during the work week. (Closed on the weekends.) It was the best tasting & best value coffee available. I could get lattes with no added syrup & it was perfect! When syrup was added it was the proper ratio to complement the espresso. Their beans for home brewing were & still are top notch. Good value too. (As barista/manager of all smaller coffee roaster in my recent past, I am familiar with good & less good coffee.)
However, when ⭐💵 coffee shut down in a nearby building (early 2026), Vitality’s quality changed. It tastes like they don’t dial in the espresso often enough for smoother taste, as if they are trying to fit the ⭐💵’s darker, more bitter profile. They are more heavy handed with the flavor syrups. The lattes are always extremely hot, almost close to scorching the milk.

On the up side, they have freshly baked cookies & muffins further into the day!

They use a La Marzocco machine.

“I frequent this Caribou coffee location weekly. The service has always been friendly, and the drinks have always come out perfectly. The food is also exceptional and always hot enough even when I take it back home! The staff (in my experience) has always done a great job prepping drinks faster, I usually only wait about 3-4 minutes, sometimes less!“

“Found this gem in the business trip to MN. It is an amazing milk tea spot! Their drinks are just the right amount of sweet, and the boba? Soft and delicious. Plus, the decor is so elegant, especially with the holiday themes. We tried four of their top 10 drinks, and they were all spot-on. One of them is the special signature Vietnamese egg coffee. It's out of this world! I'm definitely coming back and highly recommending it.“
