“What could be better than a Starbucks and a Wahlburgers and a bar and a food court inside a grocery store with a bakery, a deli, a fish monger, and a butter shop. Oh, and a pharmacy. My local HyVee is the bomb. ?Mama gets sushi & papa gets a cheeseburger while we play free bingo Wednesdays at 5:00 pm.“

“After moving boxes and all kinds of things around from a storage unit to a hotel room and getting everything unpacked and put away, a large vanilla shake, regular burger with no pickles & no mustard, and a large sprite to take it all in with…. it was magical!!! It was like virgin mcdonald groupies!!! I can’t remember the last time it was so darn delicious!!!!!♥️ ?? ??? ?“

“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“Always love stopping by mudslinger's while out running errands. The only downside is that the line can get long in the mornings, especially on weekends. Despite this, they work quickly and I love supporting a small local business!

“I couldn’t love this place more!!! Great atmosphere, meeting room, and a large “kid room” with comfy furniture, toys and books so your kids can play while you enjoy a coffee date with friends! Best of all is their support for addiction recovery. A fabulous coffee shop that gives back to the community! ❤️❤️❤️“

“Beautiful spot. I spent the afternoon studying here and it quickly became one of my favorites spots. The inside is minimalistic with brutalist and industrial inspiration. The space is extremely clean and well kept. There are numerous outlets under the seats which are relatively comfortable and wooden. The tables might be my only complaint as they are quite small.. but adequate for most things. They play numerous records which Is quite unique and cool. The menu is small but all the items I tried were great. The pumpkin latte was recommended to me and was perfect and not too sweet. The entrance is located adjacent to the street in a small alley. They have one small gender neutral bathroom. Staff are kind and knowledgeable. I did not see a drinking fountain. Overall great spot!“

“This place! It's the hub of the Upper NE Johnson Street community! Great food (I recommend the veggie bfast wrap!) and coffee (I'm an iced latte girl). Staff are always down to earth and friendly. The rotating ART on the walls is fantastic! It's a regular stop for me on the way to work. Lots of parking on the street and a huge lot!“

“The vibes alone sell this place for me. The delicious coffee and friendly service were the icing on the cake (I don't think they sell cake, but they do have muffins and pastries and bagels etc.). Local art is featured on the wall and for sale. Little plants find their homes in the window sills and there's even a shelf of mini succulents you can buy if you want to take some vibes home with you. I got the Lavender Haze which was a really well balanced flavor. There's also a shelf with books and actually really solid board games available. I wish I had time to stay a while longer.“

“I was in town for a work thing and needed some quick and easy breakfast. Mocha Momma's was right around the corner so I just walked in and OMG am I glad I did. The breakfast sandwich I had was one of the best I've had in a long time. The biscuit was perfect, not too crumbly, not too gooey. The mocha was very well made as well, though a tad bit on the sweeter side. Overall, a 5 star location. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again.“

“This is a place you’ll get hooked on. From the Waygu burger, Salmon Sandwich to their baked goods. I bought a brioche loaf and made the most amazing French toast from it. Very worth a visit for breakfast and lunch!“
“Kind of a weird setup, but one of the best coffees I've ever had!
I was just driving through the area to drop something off at the electronics recycling nearby, and this place popped up. Weird location, and you just walk up to the pickup window to order? It was different. The guy at the window was super friendly though, and this place doesn't seem right for the area, but the coffee was one of the most flavorful coffees I've ever had. I normally get black coffee, and that's what I got this time, and it was great! Real positive experience there. Still kind of a weird place to have an exceptional coffee (being in the industrial area of st Paul and all. I could be wrong)“

“I almost want to gate keep this shop - that’s how much I love it. The warmest service! Everytime I’ve went they have provided me with kind, genuine recommendations and explainations. They have unique lattes such as one with beetroot powder and even one protein. I haven’t seen options at other spots. I feel like I need protein in every coffee I have going forward. I didn’t feel jittery at all like I normally do. Life changing experience for real! They have special made empanadas by Boludo too, which are incredible. Other pastries I’ve seen in the case come from RMY patisserie. It’s not the biggest shop, but I’m so glad they are here.“
“They take credit cards now! $5 minimum. This is a great spot for coffee. Local and long standing. Baristas are real and down to earth. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
Parking: Easy street parking!
Kid-friendliness: I bring my toddler here and they have juice boxes and cookies!
Wheelchair accessibility: Small place, but you can cruise right in.“

“My favorite dogwood coffee. Atmosphere is secluded and open, with booths or open seating, drip coffee is excellent, and the pastries are huge. Would like the pastries to be smaller so that I can try more of them. Also a little pricy but worth it.“

“What a charming store with a well curated selection of teas and accessories! Their hot Chai is delish and a nice way to make the visit to the store more fun. I get the teas as a present for my granddaughter, who lives overseas, and she loves them!
The staff is very helpful and prompt. I purchased the teas o er the phone and they were all prepared when I picked them up.

“Bordertown Coffee in Minneapolis is a haven for coffee connoisseurs. The extensive menu boasts classic coffee choices, along with an array of tempting teas and tea lattes. My latte experience was nothing short of exceptional—the milk was perfectly prepared, consistently creamy, and adorned with the perfect amount of foam. What sets Bordertown apart is its unique location inside an old house. The ambiance is a delightful blend of history and modern comfort, with inviting tables, plush couches, and tucked-away study nooks. The attention to detail in decor creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment of your visit. Bordertown Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's a destination where every sip and surroundings contribute to a memorable experience. Highly recommended for those seeking both quality beverages and a charming environment.“

“Starbucks made a big wrong move opening next to Caribou. Specially, the one in Lino Lakes that one is the most premium Caribou I have ever been to. They’re always busy lines of cars to the drive-through. Also, Caribou knows how to hire quality beautiful women compared to Starbucks The people at Caribou move like they took a 10 shot espresso but with a smile wow I love going to Caribou plus it always looks slow every time I pass Starbucks to go to Caribou“

“Really great place! The service was excellent - they actually brought our drinks to our table rather than calling out our names. And the latte tasted really nice, super smooth with just enough milk. Huge space with lots of tables and chairs to spread out.“

“Let me start by saying that I might just be Caribou Coffee’s number one fan. The coffee was, as always, absolutely delicious. That moosed iced americano or cold brew (almost....) never let me down!
However, my recent visit to this particular location was a mixed bag. While the coffee lived up to its usual high standards, the service left something to be desired. The staff at the counter were friendly, but there was a noticeable lack of engagement. I stood at the counter for a while without anyone making eye contact or acknowledging my presence, which felt a bit off.
Additionally, the ambiance at this location wasn’t quite what I’m used to. The music was incredibly loud, to the point where it felt more like a concert than a coffee shop. Most people come to Caribou to relax, work, or catch up with friends, not to struggle with drowning out background noise. I found myself needing to use earbuds just to make the experience bearable.
Despite these hiccups, I’m still a huge fan of Caribou Coffee, and I’m willing to give this location another shot in the future. If things improve, I’ll definitely update my review. For now, if you’re looking for a quiet spot to enjoy your coffee, you might want to consider another location.“
