“Great location since it's in Target. Baristas are always friendly and fast to make drinks. Target will have discounts on drinks through their Circle app which is a big plus, and you can pay with their app as well. Drinks are always up to Starbucks standards except for the cold brew coffee often tastes a little off compared to actual Starbucks locations.“
“We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building“
“Nice place. Our coffee group met here this morning. I'm a black coffee guy but two others in the group had specialty coffees and said they were good. Pastries were also good. Service and atmosphere were top notch. Will definitely return.“
“I feel so blessed to have this gem of a coffee shop in my neighborhood! The Pork Cutie is one of my favorite sandwiches on earth, I'm deadly serious. They're always playing great music, the staff is friendly, and every detail is intentional and unique - what more could you ask for?“
“I pass by every day on my way to work and finally stopped in today. Hands down one of my favorite coffee spots now. The atmosphere is super laid back. The coffee is actually affordable. I was shocked by the prices. And it's really good too. I think I paid $8 for an iced latte and a breakfast sandwich. You won't regret checking it out!“
“First time going and I received the wrong sandwich. I asked twice what it was but I couldn’t remember everything in the sandwich I actually ordered so it’s on me for not getting the correct one. All in all, food was good and so was the coffee. Fast service, good food, and friendly faces made the experience worth going back again!“
“This has become my favorite coffee shop. Run by a wonderful family. Excellent coffee and other beverages. The spicy Mexican hot chocolate is terrific. I also enjoy the latte and the cappuccino. Baked goods are divine - I especially love the oat bread and the banana bread. Although I have not sampled yet there are also breakfast and lunch items that I can see are popular. Compact seating area that is comfortable and the noise level moderate.“
“I did not think this “shack” would be my go-to coffee shop. But, holy cow - it’s the BEST! I can walk to two Caribous and a Starbucks, but I prefer to get on the highway just for a coffee from Mudslingers. Something about the espresso there just doesn’t even compare to other places, even some of the more hipster and bougie coffee shops. I’m utterly impressed. Keep doing what you’re doing.“
“Love this place. Great spaces to sit or work, busy (people talking and engaging) but not crazy. Very community-spirited and great service. Coffee and food selection was wonderful. Would love to try in the summer when the place is more open and dog-friendly too.“
“Went for Easter Brunch. I've been on the hunt for good brunch spots in the Twin Cities as a college student who often needs a Sunday afternoon rally. After all the places I've tried, Hope may just be the best the city has to offer.Hope, simply put, has its ducks in a row. The service is snappy. The 1-hr cap on dining time seems daunting, but you'll come to love it--it's a great way to keep customers coming in when certain types start sipping a little too slowly on their Captain Crunch cocktails. Being from the South, I'm used to brunch taking eons due to these types of tables. That's not an issue here! They're no-nonsense. Server was friendly and gave great recommendations. Every course was delicious and surprising. We started with the Captain Crunch cereal milk Rumchata cocktail and raspberry lemonade--both of which were divine. Very strong flavors that taste exactly as advertised. Not too sweet despite what others have suggested. I got the pimento cheese scramble with bacon and baby monkey cakes--good lord. Everything was out-of-this world. The peanut butter syrup on the monkey cakes is like crack--again, I'm from Louisiana, so plate-licking dishes are a high bar for me. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles with the incredible jalapeno syrup (great dipping option for the bacon, too). He's a chicken and waffle fanatic and has gotten it at every brunch place we've been to--this is the best!We will be coming back. Very reasonable prices considering the quality and inventiveness of the food as well as the excellent service and atmosphere.“
“This place is amazing! There's always a bit of a line and for good reason, but it moves along fairly quickly. Self order at touch screen and they call your name out. Great rotating selection of melt-in-your-mouth, always soft, mochi dough donuts with some staples like the taro and black sesame -- you can't go wrong, but those two and the strawberry are my personal faves. I also love the Thai tea and stir fried boba!“
“My family and I recently went to luminary and loved the place! It is cozy and we liked the theme. We tried several pastries (cinamon swirl, chocolate raspberry cone, and a chocolate croissant) and they were all delicious. We also all loved the coffee we got! It has been hard to find a spot with good coffee as of late and this spot was definitely one to save with great drinks and a great experience. The only con is there isn't a ton of seating and the place, seeing as it is so good, gets busy.“
“Fawkes Alley is a delightful coffee shop. My favorite drink is the Lab Latte--iced lavender latte with honey cold foam. The two young men who work Saturdays are incredibly friendly and personable. My go-to weekend coffee spot before or after a walk through Loring Park :)“
“When I had an issue with the shipper, the owner herself reached out to the shipper to rectify the issue and called me personally. I have only just started shopping at Mrs. Kelly’s tea, but I am hooked and can’t wait to get to the warehouse next time they are open! Thank you so so much!“
“Stopped in for a meet up with the some friends on a Sunday afternoon. This is a cute little coffee shop set in a strip mall. There is all kinds of seating available and a lot of plug ins in case you came here to work. The baristas were super kind and helpful. I had an Iced Chia Tea that was amazing. My friends had some other specialty coffee drinks and said they were very delicious. Definitely swing in here for a cup of Joe if you are in the area!“
“I was feeling adventurous so I ordered the Bluebeards Ghost and It was glorious! Slightly salty, a little spicy, and the Vanilla brought a subtle sweetness. I ordered it a second time and added sugar and totally ruined my drink, don't be like me ?Kid-friendliness: My daughter always gets a vanilla steamer when we come here. It makes her feel like a big girl which is pretty cute.“
“Reverie is a hip and casual place to go for a vegan meal well prepared. Everything I've had there has been delicious, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. I adore the place!Vegetarian options: It's vegan!Kid-friendliness: I often see children in the restaurant -- a great thing!“
“A new favorite of mine. The bun vermicelli noodle salads are so good. I've tried the chicken teriyaki and grilled pork and they're both delicious. Love all the drinks...I had the brown sugar milk tea with boba, and they have non-dairy options too, like oat milk. Of course the croissants and baked goods are amazing! Will be going back regularly. Oh and the bulgogi beef kimchi fries! Fantastic!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free drink optionsKid-friendliness: Lots of space, variety of seating options, very kids and family friendly.“
“Cool coffee shop. Huge seating area with plenty of comfy chairs and couches to enjoy your food or coffee. Old fashion style donut was really good, highly recommend. Cold brew was solid as well. Baristas were friendly and service was very fast. Definitely recommend this place for a good spot to read, study, work, whatever you need. There is no parking available and you’ll need to find street parking if visiting.“
“I love Rafiki! The owners are so welcoming and intentional about knowing their customers. They remembered my name after the first time they met me even with weeks apart from my second visit! Great large room for bigger meetings and small tables for individual workspace. Unique food & drink options that are similar to what you can find at any coffee shop along with their own unique spin on drinks as well. Try the African tea, it’s delicious and well spiced!Parking: There is a free lot adjacent to the space, but is shared with other businesses so at times it can be difficult to find street parking that is close enough.“
“Records are fun, vibe is great, coffee is good but the pastries… OMG amazing. Best danish I’ve ever had, my partner’s egg sandwich looked phenomenal (he confirms also good).I wouldn’t say it’s extremely high quality third wave coffee if that’s what you’re looking for, but definitely top tier 2nd wave.“
“What a gem! The coffee is great and the record selection is unbelievable. I found two holy grail records for very fair prices for how good they sound, plus a lot of other great stuff. The barista was friendly and helpful, guiding me in choosing a delicious latte. The Satanic theme is great, just enough to freak out the normal folk.Parking: Plenty of spaces within a block.“
“I wish everything up on the hill were as perfect as Nina's. On a weekday morning this place is packed with people from all walks of life. A lot of students park here and take up tables just with them and their laptops which is my only gripe. Prices are reasonable. Be prepared to wait a bit for drinks because it is very popular.“
“Talk about a great selection of loose leaf teas! I especially enjoyed being able to look and smell them within the store itself and read about the differences without having to ask for assistance. They also have hot and iced teas to-go. I tried out their iced chai and it didn't disappoint- a nice balance of spice and sweet.“
“Wildflyer is a shop with a vision - "to end youth homelessness". The shop is nice, they teach skills beyond just making coffee, the coffee and snacks are really good. Living out of that neighborhood, I hadn't found the ship before, but now that I have, I'll be back often.“
“Love their coffee & matcha! Have been to this location many times & the staff is always so friendly. Unfortunately that is a rare occurrence at some of the twin cities coffee shops ? Had a good time chatting with the employee working! Thank you SK!“
“The tea was amazing, it was very nice to have tea with my parents and have a conversation. The prices were a bit high for tea, but I think the overall experience of it and quality of tea is definitely worth it if you enjoy tea. The Ambiance was okay, I did go during a weekend so it was busy. Highly recommend going during a weekday if you want a little more less chaos, peace, and quiet. I will say the customer service was okay too, I'm definitely NOT a tea expert and it was my first time here, so I wasn't sure what to order or how to. When I told the employee about this, they didn't really help me understand how their tea system/menu works and what tea is best for certain situations or taste and health benefits. So we were kinda just forced to guess on one and hope it was good, which luckily it was.“
“Ok what a cool little coffee shop in NE. It’s a very minimalist concept but the vibes were ?. I’m normally a big light person and it got a bit dark in here in the afternoon, but it was fitting for the atmosphere of this place so I didn’t mind too much. The music is played from records so the barista was changing out the albums the whole time.My matcha was really good. It came to like $9 so not super cheap, but I do enjoy a good homemade drink :)Metered street parking around unless you walk across the bridge for the free parking in the neighborhood.“
“If Cardigan Donuts has a million fans, I am one of them. If Cardigan Donuts has one fan, that me. If Cardigan Donuts has no fans I must be dead. If they have a hater, we ride at dawn. These little treats are gods gift to Minneapolis. Never in my 24 years of life have I tasted a more incredible delicacy.“
“What a treat! Cafe Astoria offers an exquisite blend of immaculate vibes, tasty food, and unique beverages, both hot and cold. I highly recommend the Athena Omelet Wrap and Mexican Mocha. Seating was surprisingly ample! We were expecting to have to wait on a Saturday morning, but their spacious interior and friendly staff made for a very smooth and pleasant experience. Hope to be back!“
“Love what this place is all about: bringing people together with soccer and coffee (two of my favorite things). I try to make it in for evening pickup soccer about once a week. Love that there are late night sessions after my kids are in bed and that I can cool down with a cold local beer.I also pop in for coffee regularly and love the atmosphere (soccer on TV, groups of students working, families in together, etc). Also, my 3 year old LOVES the free kids open play. I only wish there was a session on the weekends since he's usually in daycare on Monday mornings.“
“Pretty good spot for coffee in the North Loop! The space here is very beautiful, it's huge and nicely decorated. I really liked the ambiance and it seems like a great place to work or meet up with friends. The coffee is pretty decent, and they have cool merch on display. The pastry I tried had a great flavor, but it was very dry --- I think they might benefit from having a door on the back of the pastry case. Overall, I think this place is pretty good and worth checking out if you are in the North Loop.“
“I love this cute little local shop. The coffee isn’t too bad (i’m picky) and they have a lot of syrup options to fully customize any drink.Since i’m picky with coffee I mainly get a the strawberry smoothie now and a little breakfast pastry.the customer service is always awesome! they are so nice, i love it. i enjoy studying here, but i do wish they were open later. i love studying with a little coffee treat after being in lecture all day and this is the best place, i wish i could do it here. but they close at 4.Wheelchair accessibility: tight fit through the front so I wouldn’t fully recommend.“
“Nestled in the heart of Midway, Workhorse Coffee Bar proved to be a hidden gem awaiting discovery. My daughter and I stumbled upon this quaint establishment on a crisp morning, seeking respite from the bustling streets outside. What we found exceeded our expectations and left us longing for more.Upon entering, we were greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting warmth of the cozy interior. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of modern chic and rustic charm, with exposed brick walls adorned with local artwork, complemented by the soft glow of pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. As we approached the counter, we were met with friendly smiles from the baristas, whose passion for their craft was evident in every cup they served. After perusing the menu, we decided to indulge in some breakfast bites to accompany our coffee. The selection was diverse, featuring both sweet and savory options crafted with care using locally sourced ingredients.I opted for the chocolate cookie, a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor. My daughter grabbed a gluten free cookie that made her smile light up the room.Workhorse Coffee Bar is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a haven of warmth, community, and culinary delight. Whether you're seeking a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely breakfast bite with loved ones, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Workhorse Coffee Bar. You won't be disappointed.“
“I'm so glad I found this gem! I really enjoy trying new teas and this is the perfect place to do it! The menu lists their matcha from most approachable to more challenging. The matcha options at the top tend to be really creamy (without any milk, it's just water and matcha!), and further down the list they tend to get grassier and more bitter. There are also black, green, oolong, pu'er, and herbal teas that you can get in a gongfu set. It's nice to just take 60-90 minutes re-steeping the tea and relaxing in the beautiful tea house. They have some snacks like mochi and pastries, but unfortunately I don't think any were vegan. I hope they add some vegan options so I can snack while sipping tea.Dietary restrictions: They do not add milk to their matcha, so it's great for vegans! Unfortunately, I don't think there are any vegan snacks in the bakery case.Parking: There is cheap street parking nearby. There are free streets if you're up for more of a walk.Kid-friendliness: This place has a quiet atmosphere, so I would not recommend you bring children.“
“Matchbox is great! Good price on quality drinks and down to earth place with personality! The barista I met, Lauren, is very pleasant and makes great drinks!! For sure Matchbox is worth my bike ride from South Minneapolis. I highly recommend it!“
“Had such a great visit here today! We were able to visit with the kitties without a reservation on a Tuesday morning. The kitties seemed happy and healthy and the environment was clean and seemed well cared for. There were so many lovely cats and it was fun to spend time with them. One climbed into my lap to snuggle for a bit wich I loved. The staff was super friendly and one of the kitties literally jumped into the staff members arms for a cuddle during the hour change over wich I thought was adorable. Obviously the staff here care very much for the cats and the cats love them back.Coffee was delicious as well. Will definitely be back ?“
“Honey! We didn't want to leave! My coworker and I were the last ones out of the door! I'm an avid reader of Black Women Authors so the menu items made me smile inside. The ambiance and the choice in seating was perfect. (Be prepared for the string incense smell.) I will make it my business to stop into this place as often as I'm in the neighborhood. Love, love, love it!“
“Ordered both the lychee milk tea and the Thai tea milk tea with boba pearls and I must say it is absolutely delicious! The lychee milk tea was great! My 4 year old loved it! This place actually beats Sencha's Thai tea in my books! The flavor is more distinct and the boba is really delicious! It is a cute place to grab a boba tea and relax or grab and go. They also have simple sandwiches and wraps, along with some breakfast items. Looking forward to trying more from Tag Cafe!“
“The last two words "Coffee gallery" perfectly describes the coffee shop! It's cool seeing the different kinds of art work, also two huge plusses are there's plenty of tables and there's a parking lot!! For the amount of people that were there it wasn't super loud either! Will for sure be coming back again!“
“Man this place well Gravy Babies on the weekends is sooooo good everything I ate was on point I had smothered pork chops, smothered steak and candied yams collard greens with turkey neck and cabbage, rice cornbread and cake was all the way off the chain have to make it her at least once on the weekends, worth the money I promise you your gonna like it“
“This place is tucked away near United Hospital between 5th and 7th in StP. Since my partner doesn't care for breakfast food for breakfast, the diversity of LA Fusion's menu was perfect for him. Their full menu was available at 9am.Samosas, Kenyan bowls, crepes, burgers, salads, smoothies, quesadillas, lattes, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes oh my!ordered the beef samosas. My partner ordered the chicken quesadillas. Both came out within minutes.Three crispy samosas with a jerk dipping sauce (you have a choice of several different options)YUM! Well stuffed full of beef with a perfect crunch. The quesadilla was huge. He could only finish half and took the rest home for lunch.Very clean place. Huge drink menu. This was our second time visiting and look forward to exploring more of the menu.Parking: The paid lot has spaces designated for LA Fusion at no charge.“
“This coffee is some of the best in Minneapolis, and the croissants are to DIE for. The atmosphere is so cool-- skater merch, art everywhere, just excellent!! The staff is also very nice and the service is great. I love this place so much <3“
“I had the Hawaiian Paradise at 30% sweetness. It had boba pearls in it. Even at 30% sweetness, it was still very sweet, but also refreshing and delicious. Wish they had patio space, but it was a clean and calm atmosphere. I highly recommend it.“
“The coffee is both affordable and tasty. I ordered the Iced Mocha. They had a good variety of desserts. I enjoyed the LGBT+ atmosphere. It felt very welcoming here. The tiny little cactuses and succulents are inexpensive. The larger plants are a little pricey. There's a cute little bookshelf in the back, and there are pieces of art for sale by local artists. I will be back!“
“Very cute place, I got the St. Paddy's latte 16oz (coconut and dark chocolate) and it was so yummy! A singular woman was up front taking and making orders, and did her job well! The pastries looked huge and delicious but I haven't gotten one yet :)“
“I orderd the 6 inch Nutella cake for my wife's birthday. She and everyone at her party absolutely loved the cake. We loved it so much, we were so eager to cut a slice and forgot to take a picture before we did! We will definelty come back to Equisite for our cake needs!“
“The atmosphere as soon as you walk in are calm, inviting, small, and lovely. Slow and I love that. It makes you feel good to walk in there to enjoy or grab your coffee, theres multiple tables and a great seating area. They sell the coffee beans, books, and have a menu that you can choose your flavors to add to your coffee. The coffee itself is smooth and not strong or delicate , it’s juss right. I love it here. It’s a small shop, and I wish their hours were more expanded but otherwise it’s sucha lovely unique coffee place. I think alotta people enjoy it too?️?☕️ I get the cherry white chocolate hot mocha and it’s so delicious ,??? the lady and man are so nice too. They run it by themselves I think cause iv never seen anyone else in there helping.“

“Always a pleasure. Always great service. Thanks for allowing me access to putting my own cream in my coffee. A little on the side. Great idea!Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor. Option to go upstairs, but also tables on first floor.“
