“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! That meal was better than we could have ever expected!“

“My favorite pizza in the Cities. I usually stick with the Old Reliable because it's a fantastic classic, and their seasonal vegetable and/or the cauliflower. The budino is delightfully chocolatey, rich and not too sweet. Staff are friendly and efficient, and it's fun to sit at the bar to see the food get made. The patio is also very cute, especially at night.“

“Amazing. Just go and you won’t regret it! Was a little skeptical about the Italian/Japanese fusion aspect, but everything we had was VERY good. I’m kicking myself for not remembering our servers name, but medium length red hair and beard. Knew everything about the menu, ingredients, cocktails, etc. One of the best servers I’ve ever gone on an experience with. Fantastic all around. Super fun culinary journey. Thanks team!!“

“I have went to this place twice and already a favorite. The service is great. You are able to try two flavors I tried the mango strawberry sorbet the first time I went and that was the one . Absolutely loved it . The second time I went which was yesterday I had the ube vanilla and it was also great. You have the choice between a waffle cone or three different size cups which was nice.
I always do a cone. The seating area instead and out is beautiful. The outside though looks like a fairy house lol . Very whimsical. Overall this is a great stop in south Minneapolis. I’m sure I’ll be back soon.“

“Love the Harriet! Thru covid, the LH "Big Dig" and many other challenges, this family owned and run restaurant continues to provide warmth, cheer and good food to our Linden Hills neighborhood.“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“My wife and I have been to La Mesa a handful of times and have never been disappointed( including our second date, its a great date spot). La mesa is a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood with a great outdoor space in the summer. In my opinion, they have some of the best pizza in the city The corn pizza is my favorite and the weekly special last week was slow roasted pork and chimichurri sauce which was delicious. Great place, good service, and nice atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun date night or something different than a bar and grill. I just recommend to a co worker and she really enjoyed it!“

From the moment we walked in, we were transported to a different era. The 1920s Art Deco interior is absolutely stunning, with glowing chandeliers, velvet textures, and a bar that could easily be a movie set. It’s classy, cozy, and quietly buzzing with charm. We started with the sampler appetizer—an incredible way to warm up our palates with bold, layered flavors. My wife ordered the Chicken Tagine, which came beautifully presented and full of rich, comforting North African spices. I went with the Wagyu NY Strip, which was grilled to perfection and paired with saffron rice that was as fragrant as it was flavorful. The rosemary chimichurri on the side added a nice kick. For drinks, my wife had a well-balanced Cosmo, while I couldn’t resist their signature Call From Istanbul—a dramatic and smoky twist on the classic Old Fashioned, served with flair (and actual fire). “After exploring the sculpture garden, Loring park and the walker art center. We decided to stop for lunch at Cardamom.
I had the pistachio latte and beet salad and my daughter had the marscapone pistachio French toast with a Shirley temple and we both loved our lunch and the lovely atmosphere.
It did take a bit to get service once seated but we did not mind as the restaurant was relaxing and surroundings were beautiful to look at. Would definitely recommend and stop in again if we are ever in the area“

“Really enjoyed my visit here while I was in town on a work trip. Stopped in for a beer and ended up also having one of their hot chicken sandwiches which was very flavorful and a good portion size. The beer was great as well, no surprise. Will definitely be returning if I lm in the area again.“

“Everything about this place was a delight! It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on the patio, but the inside has a really nice vibe. The food was delicious, with lots of gluten free and vegan options. I had the oatmeal latte and it was tasty with just the right amount of flavoring that still allowed the espresso to shine through. We were there for breakfast so can't speak to the dinner menu, but the quiche was fantastic!

They also have a free, shaded parking lot.“

“I have never been in a bar that felt so safe. Staff were friendly and attentive, the bartenders made phenomenal drinks, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. As some of the younger people at the bar, we felt like staff were also looking out for us to make sure we were safe. This was also the first gay bar I've ever been to. It sets the standard high!“

“This place is not inexpensive; but the food is worth every single penny. It’s unique, it’s vegan, it’s delicious, and it’s healthy. The atmosphere is very comfortable. (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. Every taste was Yum Yum Yum Yum.). a lot of times when I go out to eat I think; I could’ve saved money and just ate at home. However, I truly felt my money was well spent! The food was fresh. Very tasty. The arugula salad was phenomenal, even though it was very simple. I need to come back here way more often. Thank you very much for your dedication to healthy, tasty, vegan food.
