“I am sure many reviews begin this way, but it’s true here: I rarely write reviews. We visited the Rochester location on 5/18, and we were immediately pleasantly greeted. The entire menu looks so tasty, so I ended up ordering a Wedge Salad, the Five Cheese Macaroni & Cheese to split, and a 60/40 with Truffle Fries. I LOVE Wedge salads, but this one, this one was special - the most delicious wedge salad I’ve ever eaten. The addition of the dill was unexpected but soooo welcome. The macaroni portion, even as split, was so generous and very tasty. The truffle fries were very flavorful, and the burger - I am ashamed to say I can’t attest to it because my eyes were much larger than my stomach & I had to take it to go. The rest of the crew with me all agreed their food was also delicious. If we ever have the fortune to travel back to the area, we agreed we would all come back to Red Cow. Our service was also top notch, I wish I could remember our server’s name. She was very sweet!“

“I came here for the first time last week and I am so happy I decided to dine. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Cyrus our waitstaff was very attentive, knowledgeable and outgoing. He explained everything in depth and provided recommendation based on our interest. He inquired about our dietary restrictions as well which made his recommendations even more personable. I ordered the sweet potatoe korokke, maitake karaage and the mentaiko lumache. My partner ordered the pork gyoza and the squid ink peppardelle. Everything we ordered arrived prompt and was absolutely phenomenal! The sweet potatoe korokke and the maitake karaage was my favorite due to the flavour, presentation as well as the texture. I enjoy crunchy yet flavourful dishes. I also LOVED the mentaiko lumache, it was very creamy and light. I would absolutely return as this is one of my favorite restaurants. “We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. “My wife and I have been to La Mesa a handful of times and have never been disappointed( including our second date, its a great date spot). La mesa is a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood with a great outdoor space in the summer. In my opinion, they have some of the best pizza in the city The corn pizza is my favorite and the weekly special last week was slow roasted pork and chimichurri sauce which was delicious. Great place, good service, and nice atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun date night or something different than a bar and grill. I just recommend to a co worker and she really enjoyed it!“

“We stopped at The Harriet Brasserie after taking a stroll around the lake in this lovely neighborhood. It's a fantastic restaurant with amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I love that it's located in a historic fire station. The live music on the patio just added to its charm.“

“The pizza is pretty good and I would go back again. My wife and I had a pepperoni and jalapeno pie. The crust was pretty good, I would like a slight bit more chew to it, but flavorful none the less. We really liked the sauce as it wasn't too much and very flavorful. Oddly enough the pepperoni didn't have a lot of flavor, but it had a good bite through and was a good size.

They have a good local beer selection and the atmosphere was nice with a section for pickup and dine in. You can also see them making the pies.

The service was fast, attentive, and she boxed the leftover pie up for us.

Parking is a bit of a challenge, so be prepared to drive around to find a spot on adjacent streets.“

Gandhi Mahal Restaurant—also known for delivery as Curry in a Hurry—serves delicious, flavorful, authentic food that always leaves an impression. Staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, energizing, and peaceful. As a Bangladeshi American, the food here is my comfort food, and they do it well. Each dish I’ve tried is exceptionally flavorful and filling. From the samosas in the appetizer assortment to the chicken korma—and especially the biriyani, it is clear they put a high degree of care into all they do. I highly recommend the motor paneer (pea and cheese curry) to add some sweet and savoriness to your meal. Items can be ordered a la carte, which I really appreciate and is very convenient if you want to take things home. Leftovers are even more flavorful the next day. To finish things off, I recommend the mango lassi, which is perfectly tangy and sweet (not too sweet) the way they make it here. Overall, Gandhi Mahal has us obsessed and coming back for many reasons: delicious food, comfortable ambience, and dedication to quality. They are an invaluable fixture of the community and I hope be keep visiting in the years to come.“

The 1920s Art Deco interior is absolutely stunning, with glowing chandeliers, velvet textures, and a bar that could easily be a movie set. It’s classy, cozy, and quietly buzzing with charm. We started with the sampler appetizer—an incredible way to warm up our palates with bold, layered flavors. My wife ordered the Chicken Tagine, which came beautifully presented and full of rich, comforting North African spices. I went with the Wagyu NY Strip, which was grilled to perfection and paired with saffron rice that was as fragrant as it was flavorful. The rosemary chimichurri on the side added a nice kick. For drinks, my wife had a well-balanced Cosmo, while I couldn’t resist their signature Call From Istanbul—a dramatic and smoky twist on the classic Old Fashioned, served with flair (and actual fire). “Edit: I finally dined there. The food was fantastic, my wife loved the onion rings and the careful service that we were given. Burgers were great. Coleslaw was actually refreshing, and not mayo dumped. Matt and his staff gave us a wonderful time on New Years Day. I will be back, with a bottle of heinz which is a small complaint.

Edit: The manager was very very prompt in responding to my email in resolving this year. In prompt it was less than about 30 minutes when I reached out via email. Which is actually, pretty darn impressive nowadays to take responsibility instead of passing the buck. They get five stars now.

I made Christmas reservations only to learn less than three days before Christmas that they weren't actually open. Their site allowed me to make a reservation. I called them to confirm if they were closed as I found out not from them at all. They did confirm it, and then laid blame on my insisuating that since they've never been open for Xmas, I should of known. Okay, then tell that to your reservation page.Pathetic service right before the holidays.

Even after I called and said it was taken down. It's still up allowing others to book a reservation. I hope there ain't some family that shows up expecting a reservation thay never should of been placed.“

“They have some of the most unique brews I've had in a while, like a nitro IPA, and an aquavit barrel-aged IPA. My favorite of the bunch though was their TOKKI, a Korean rice lager. The bartender was also very friendly, and their space has big garage-doors that were open, so there was tons of natural light and cross-breeze.“
