“Absolutely loved this place! Came here yesterday; and it has a really cool vibe. The bar is in the back of a restaurant and the overall vibe is very chill and upscale. Their alcohol list is insane! There’s over 100s of options and choices to choose from. I ordered a whiskey sour with parm fries and my experience was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely return! Also, the bartender working was absolutely amazing!! The drinks he made were delicious.“

“John Bakken is the best bar tender I have ever experienced in all my years of dining and drinks. Not only is he an expert in making drinks and serving food, he also makes sure his customers come first. He is the best. If I had my own bar I would hire him!“

“My daughter and I stopped in with no reservation while it was pretty busy and were seated right away. Our waitress was awesome and the service was fast. I got the Pork Belly & Biscuit- very delicious! My daughter got the Chicken Biscuit and she loved it! She isn’t a fan of honey but loved the hot honey that came with her dish ( she had it on the side to make sure she would like it). I was also impressed the coffee drink selection. Such great varieties! I had the Pistachio Cardamom which was so delicious. Also ordered the March special to go which was the Lucky Green Dream Latte- very delicious as well! Definitely stopping again when we are back in the area!“

“First time here, stopped to pick up a little something for a late dinner.Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!Food was excellent and very generous portions.Tried the Enchiladas Guadalajara - just Wow!What's not to love about cheese Enchiladas covered with pork fajitas?!!! YUM!The pork was flavorful and so tender, the fajita veggies were plentiful, and even the rice was delicious, as was the fresh guacamole salad.I have found a new favorite!Thank you El Parian and thanks also to the sweet young lady who patiently waited on us and neatly packed up our food!“

“I’ve been here several times but not in a couple years. Just returned for brunch and it was spectacular as usual. Jeremy was super nice and knowledgeable and we sat close to the kitchen so it was cool to see them do their thing. Bravo again Martina team, you guys never fail to impress! ?“

“We came here for drinks to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were treated with the best service! Moon was our bartender and she was phenomenal as well as the rest of the staff. We didn’t have any food but the cocktails were delicious and we will absolutely be coming back for more drinks and to try the food!“

“Always a great meal at the Porterhouse. The quality is top notch, drinks are flavorful and the staff consistently delivers an exceptional experience (Pam killed it the last time I was there). The only downside is that the place is relatively small and they pack you in, so it can get quite noisy. You can definitely look past that though for all the other reasons I just mentioned.“

“The building and decor are beautiful. The cashier was very nice. I would recommend the tomato soup and focaccia. My sandwich was ok cold sandwiches are not my favorite. I also got a delicious tiramisu I think they should come out with some warm ones. A little pricey but overall a good experience.Vegetarian options: They have a couple of vegetarian options but not very many vegan ones.“

“Cute place but for sure burger is better at the nook which I passed on my way here. Burgers for 14$ should come with fries (it doesn’t). Service is good and atmosphere is hipster. No wifi. Would try something other than the burger though Was packed by 545 on a Saturday night already.“

“My family is so happy to have a place like this in Bloomington. The food is delicious, the setting is very cute and clean, staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Fast service. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and cornbread waffles and coffee. Portions are large, had plenty for left overs.Can’t wait to go back.“

“My Dad and I had the pleasure of eating at Highland Grill this evening and will most definitely recommend it to others, as well as return next time we're nearby! Absolutely stellar service from the time we walked in the door and were promptly greeted by the hostess until the time we left. Holly was our server - very knowledgeable & friendly. I mentioned it was our first time & asked for recommendations. I asked for a special drink (not on the menu); and she accommodated my request. We decided to get two items and share them as they both sounded delicious (the Seared Salmon & Meatloaf). Dad is a diabetic so she suggested an alternative vegetable instead of potatoes. Her service was spot on throughout our visit and the food was DELICIOUS!! We were both very pleased with the quality and the quantity. I've been a bartender/server for over 25 years... I can honestly say there isn't one thing that could have gone better with our experience!! 10 out of 10.“

“I attended The Mudd Room on a Wednesday during the comedy sessions. It was so much fun! I loved the lighting and the cozy feeling the place had. I definitely want to go back. It got pretty busy and was hard to get staff's attention as the space is a bit tight and long in length. The staff are super friendly. I had a flatbread and some tasty seasonal cocktails!“

“Outstanding in so many ways. The atmosphere transports u to another place. Seating options are all great including at the fancy bar, in the bar at a high top, fancy dining room and my fav: patio on a warm day. Food amazing, drinks amazing, staff amazing. Easy parking. Italian food store attached. Great for special occasions, happy hour, any time really.“

“Always a great experience here. I am a transplant from CT and it like many higher end New England establishments. It is priced about the same, as well, so check their menu prices on line before you decode to bring a date. A good bottle of wine, two entrées and a shared dessert for two usually drops between $250 and $300. It is well worth it. Everything is always prepared perfectly and the portions are pretty generous.“

The gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options are unique and delicious. The artichoke dip is very flavorful and having different things to dip was wondeful! Our food was fantastic along with the drinks. I did the Firery Bloody, she recommended a perfect Sauv Blanc and my hubby is an Old Fashioned snob and highly approved! “We dinned in last week during the snow storm. It was pretty empty, so service was quick. The crab cakes were delicious and I appreciate that it came with 3 cakes instead of the normal 2 at most restaurants. My fiance and my teen ordered the chicken and waffles. Warning, the chicken was hot!! My son says he'll get regular strips next time. My fiance liked them. I ordered the New Orleans salmon. My dish was good however with the name New Orleans, I expected way more flavor. I had to add a decent amount of salt to my food and I NEVER use salt. I'll probably order something different next time but we will definitely be returning!“

“Stopped in Saturday afternoon to catch a live gig. What a cute and cozy venue! There was bar seating, a few booths, some small tables then there was more seating closer to the stage! Bartender Chris was absolutely delightful ....and confirmed my initial notion when I saw him!! The White Squirel is one of three bars the owner has, another one is Amsterdam... where I had met Chris in July! There are two bathrooms, right across from the bar, between the two side doors. I think the bar did a great job w acoustics! Two little kids walked out covering their ears but adults didn't mind. White Squirrel has such a comfy neighborhood bar feeling and I quite enjoyed the couple that found a little room to dance!It got a little busier as the bands played but not uncomfortably crowded. There is a small parking lot so if it's busy you're looking at street parking, which is ample. Thanks White Squirrel for a wonderful afternoon of live music while I met up w old friends and chatted up your friendly bartender... certainly planning to make you a regular stop.“

“Nordstrom Grill may be a well kept secret to many MOA visitors. I recently discovered it myself and have been back within a week. It has an interesting menu and good food. Customer service was very professional and efficient. I have already promoted it to others.“
