He checked with the head chef 3 different times about different entrees, so I could have the best experience. We are from out of town and will definitely be back due to the great service provided. Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

“Food was very good. My mom got the shrimp lemon and chicken pasta which was FANTASTIC 10/10 on that. My dad got the pot roast stroganoff which was also fantastic another 10/10. I got the prime rib French dip which the sandwich was fantastic, however the au jus was very bland which was disappointing. The tater tots were awesome. Would definitely eat here again!!“

“I love a good burger, and after reading about their signature burger after Kyler Murray was reported to have loved it while he was here signing with the Vikings, I thought I'd make a stop at the Excelsior location last night to check it out.
While the burger and fries were both very good, I wouldn't say that either were the best I've ever had, by any stretch. Honestly, I think 5 Guys makes a more flavorful burger.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it, but the cost ($44 after the tip for the burger, fries and a diet coke) was a little shocking to me. I ran into a friend while there, and wasn't really paying attention when I ordered, which is on me. But when she asked if I wanted fries, I guess I assumed that they'd be included in the cost ($19) of the burger. Nope, fries were an additional $8.
Don't get me wrong, it was all good, and the the service was excellent, but it wasn't good enough to make me ever want to go back for another one.“

He was patient while we chose our entries and gave use recommendations.

We ordered the salmon scramble and the stuffed poblano pepper.
The stuffed poblano pepper was a stuffed poblano between tortilla covered with cheese and salsa with hash brown side.

I wanted pancakes but have to watch my sugar intake so the stuffed poblano pepper was perfect, I later realized it didn’t spike my sugars.

I originally went to the Eagan location and ordered their monkey pancakes which were soooooo delicious too.

I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left.
