“Situated beautifully along the lake with fantastic sunset views, COV Wayzata offers a wonderful ambiance that is especially enjoyable when the temperature permits outdoor seating. The service was exceptional throughout our visit, beginning with the highly accommodating staff who graciously allowed us to place our first round of happy hour drink and appetizer orders just minutes before the window closed. The tap beer selection is superb, and we started with the truffle fries, which were paired perfectly with a delicious truffle aioli.

One of the main courses we ordered was the steak frites accompanied by green asparagus and béarnaise sauce. While the flavor of the steak was excellent, the cut itself lacked a bit of tenderness. Additionally, while the restaurant boasts a strong wine list, the pricing reflects a remarkably steep markup; a bottle that typically retails for around $40 was priced at $155, which feels a bit excessive (normal for me as a Swede in Sweden, but not in the US…) Despite the steep wine prices, we ended the evening on a high note with a genuinely phenomenal Key Lime Pie. Overall, COV provides a highly memorable lakeside dining experience bolstered by top-tier service.“

“I love this place. I love how close it is to my house, especially ;). They've completely transformed this business district space into something incredible. The drinks are pricy but worth it. Truly crafted cocktails. Don't come here if you are looking for a beer. Service has always been attentive. Maybe a little slower to wait for your beverage but I think that is because they really take time to craft the perfect cocktail. Worth thr wait IMO. I highly suggest The Walken Pig and the Milk Tyson!“

“I love a good burger, and after reading about their signature burger after Kyler Murray was reported to have loved it while he was here signing with the Vikings, I thought I'd make a stop at the Excelsior location last night to check it out.
While the burger and fries were both very good, I wouldn't say that either were the best I've ever had, by any stretch. Honestly, I think 5 Guys makes a more flavorful burger.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it, but the cost ($44 after the tip for the burger, fries and a diet coke) was a little shocking to me. I ran into a friend while there, and wasn't really paying attention when I ordered, which is on me. But when she asked if I wanted fries, I guess I assumed that they'd be included in the cost ($19) of the burger. Nope, fries were an additional $8.
Don't get me wrong, it was all good, and the the service was excellent, but it wasn't good enough to make me ever want to go back for another one.“

“Ryan was the absolute best server that I have encountered in my life! I have an anaphylaxis food allergy. He was so on top of making sure that whatever I ordered wasn't going to be an issue. He checked with the head chef 3 different times about different entrees, so I could have the best experience. We are from out of town and will definitely be back due to the great service provided. “We hosted an event at Rum Row and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. The drinks and food were excellent, and the speakeasy vibe was a hit with all of our guests. Chad and his team made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. “Food was very good. My mom got the shrimp lemon and chicken pasta which was FANTASTIC 10/10 on that. My dad got the pot roast stroganoff which was also fantastic another 10/10. I got the prime rib French dip which the sandwich was fantastic, however the au jus was very bland which was disappointing. The tater tots were awesome. Would definitely eat here again!!“

Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

“Outstanding dining experience. Haven't been here for a while but my daughter in law just got her PhD and this is where she wanted to go and celebrate. And wow did we celebrate. They ordered the short ribs which were delicious and very tender. We gir the drunken noodles (which are the best drunken noodles i ever tasted) and the tom yum Ramen. The Ramen broth was heavenly although I couldn't finish the broth. The shrimp and scallops in the Ramen were perfectly cooked. The Ramen noodles had just the right texture and soaked up that heavenly broth. The spice level was just right and got stronger throughout the meal. White Negroni was very good. The Hungarian sauv blanc wine was meh as all good Hungarian wines should be“

“We had a dinner party for 33 people in this wonderful place on Saturday night celebrating the marriage of my son and his new bride. The manager Stephanie was so wonderful to work with knowing we would be taking up almost half the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.“

“Wow. We had been to Hope Breakfast Bar at another location a few months ago, and were just “meh” after that experience, but were really impressed after our visit here at the Chanhassen location. KJ was our server, and was so super attentive and friendly, and I absolutely loved my Hawaiian Bowl. The quality of the coffee (although some people have complained about the price) is so worth it! Although the restaurant has been around for several years, it’s now under new ownership as of mid-January by the Luna family, and the difference was immediately clear. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care and passion. This wasn’t rushed or generic Mexican food; you could truly taste the quality and pride in every bite. The service was just as wonderful, with a sincere and welcoming host and wait staff. The restaurant has also received a beautiful facelift. “Was at Moes's Char House Chanhassen with Sarah Morgan . Pulled $250 in Pulltabs. The waiter, an Excelsior Dufus, would not let me use 3 credit cards, he demanded cash. I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“
